The primary goal in the analysis of hierarchical distributed monitoring and control architectures is to study the spatiotemporal patterns of the interactions between areas or *** this paper,a novel conceptual framework for distributed monitoring of power system oscillations using multiblock principal component analysis(MB-PCA)and higher-order singular value decomposition(HOsVD)is proposed to understand,characterize,and visualize the global behavior of the power *** proposed framework can be used to evaluate the influence of a given area or utility on the oscillatory behavior,uncover low-dimensional structures from high-dimensional data,and analyze the effects of heterogeneous data on the modal characteristics and interpretation of power *** metrics are then investigated to examine the relationships between the dynamic patterns and participation of individual data blocks in the global behavior of the *** application of these techniques is demonstrated by case studies of two systems:a 14-machine test system and a 5449-bus 635-generator equivalent model of a large power system.

The incidence of cardiogenic shock(Cs)complicating acute myocardial infarction(AMI-Cs)remains between 3%and 10%and in-hospital mortality is hardly less than 30%.[1-3]In addition,the economic cost of caring for these patients is high.[4]Revascularization in the acute phase is the only measure that has demonstrated to modify the prognosis of AMI-Cs.

Background: since 2012, the World Health Organization has recommended intermittent preventive treatment with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (IPT-sP) to prevent malaria-related complications in pregnant women. Ten years following these recommendations, we conducted this study to estimate the coverage for three doses of IPT-sP (IPT3) as well as the prevalence of low birth weight (LBW), and its associated factors in Lomé (Togo) in 2021. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between January and March 2021. An exhaustive recruitment of women and their newborns was carried out in the maternity wards of the sylvanus Olympio University Hospital Center. Data from antenatal consultations and clinical data of the newborns were collected. Multivariate logistic regression was carried out to determine factors associated with LBW. Results: A total of 252 mother-child pairs were included in this study. Median age of the mothers was 27 years, IQR [24-31]. More than a third (35.3%) of the mothers were primigravida. IPT3 coverage was 66.7% and 14.7% of newborns had a LBW. The prevalence of LBW was 33.3% [23.3-43.4] in women who had received fewer than 3 doses of IPT-sP and 5.4% [2.0-8.8] in those who had received at least 3 doses of IPT-sP (p Conclusion: Ten years following recommendations of the WHO on IPT-sP, malaria prevention based on IPT-sP is not optimal among pregnant women in Lomé, and the proportion of LBW children remains high. Actions to strengthen the three-dose IPT-sP policy are needed to prevent malaria and its consequences among newborns in Togo.

Dear Editor,Although penile lesions tend to be attributed to sexually transmitted diseases in sexually active patients,there are various inflammatory skin diseases that can occur in this area.1 Among them,psoriasis is one of the most frequent,being the most common or third most common according to some studies,making it a potential reason for consulting an andrologist.2,3 It can become a disease that impacts the quality of life and sexual function.

Phytoremediation is an emerging technology that uses plants and their associated microbes to clean up pollutants from the soil, water, and air. In order to select the plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria （PGPR） for phytoremediation of heavy metal contamination, 60 bacterial strains were isolated from the rhizosphere of two endemic plants, Prosopis laevigata and spharealcea angustifolia, in a heavy metal-contaminated zone in Mexico. These rhizobacterial strains were characterized for the growth at different pH and salinity, extracellular enzyme production, solubilization of phosphate, heavy metal resistance, and plant growth-promoting （PGP） traits, including production of siderophores and indol-3-acetic acid （IAA）. Overall, the obtained rhizobacteria presented multiple PGP traits. These rhizoba^teria were also resistant to high levels of heavy metals （including As as a metalloid）（up to 480 mmol L-1 As（V）, 24 mmol L-1 Pb（II）, 21 mmol L-1 Cu（II）, and 4.5 mmol L-1 Zn（II））. seven rhizobacterial strains with the best PGP traits were identified as members of Alcaligenes, Bacillus, Curtobacterium, and Microbacterium, and were selected for further bioassay. The inoculation of Brassica nigra seeds with Microbacteriurn sp. CE3R2, Microbacterium sp. nE1R5, Curtobacterium sp. nM1R1, and Microbacterium sp. nM3E9 facilitated the root development; they significantly improved the B. nigra seed germination and root growth in the presence of heavy metals such as 2.2 mmol L-1 Zn（II）. The rhizobacterial strains isolated in the present study had the potential to be used as efficient bioinoculants in phytorremediation of soils contaminated with multiple heavy metals.

Objective: This systematic review aimed to critically analyze the literature to determine how high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT) affects recreational endurance runners in the short-and ***: Electronic databases were searched for literature dating from January 2000 to October 2015. The search was conducted using the key words "high-intensity intermittent training" or "high-intensity interval exercise" or "interval running" or "sprint interval training" and "endurance runners" or "long distance runners". A systematic approach was used to evaluate the 783 articles identified for initial review. studies were included if they investigated HIIT in recreational endurance runners. The methodological quality of the studies was evaluated using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database(PEDro) scale(for intervention studies) and the modified Downs and Black Quality Index(for cross-sectional studies).Results: Twenty-three studies met the inclusionary criteria for review. The results are presented in 2 parts: cross-sectional(n = 15) and intervention studies(n = 8). In the 15 cross-sectional studies selected, endurance runners performed at least 1 HIIT protocol, and the acute impact on physiological, neuromuscular, metabolic and/or biomechanical variables was assessed. Intervention studies lasted a minimum of 4 weeks, with 10 weeks being the longest intervention period, and included 2 to 4 HIIT sessions per week. Most of these studies combined HIIT sessions with continuous run(CR) sessions; 2 studies' subjects performed HIIT ***: HIIT-based running plans(2 to 3 HIIT sessions per week, combining HIIT and CR runs) show athletic performance improvements in endurance runners by improving maximal oxygen uptake and running economy along with muscular and metabolic adaptations. To maximize the adaptations to training, both HIIT and CR must be part of training programs for endurance runners.

Purpose:This study aimed to evaluate running kinematic characteristics during the early and late stages of 2 high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT)protocols with similar external load but different average running pace,as well as to compare the fatigue-induced changes during both HIIT protocols at a kinematic ***:Eighteen endurance runners were tested on a track on 2 occasions:10 runs of 400 m with 90-120 s recovery between running bouts(10 × 400 m),and 40 runs of 100 m with 25-30 s recovery between running bouts(40 × 100 m).Heart rate was monitored during both protocols;blood lactate accumulation and rate of perceived exertion were recorded after both exercises.A high-speed camera was used to measure sagittalplane kinematics at the first and last runs during both HIIT *** dependent variables were spatial-temporal parameters(step length and contact and flight time),joint angles during support(relative angles of the hip,knee,and ankle),and foot strike ***:High levels of exhaustion were reached by the athletes during both workouts(blood lactate accumulation>12 mmol/L,rate of perceived exertion>15;peak heart rate(HRpeak)>176 bpm).A within-protocol paired t test(first *** run)revealed no significant changes(p≥0.05)in kinematic variables during any of the HIIT sessions.A between-protocol comparison with the first run of each protocol revealed the effect of running speed on kinematics:+2.44 km/h during the 40 × 100 m:shorter contact and flight time(pnd longer step length(p= 0.001);greater hip flexion(p = 0.031)and ankle extension(p = 0.001)at initial contact;smaller knee and ankle flexion(pstance;and greater hip extension at toe-off(pnclusion:HIIT sessions including runs for 15-90 s and performed at intensity above the velocity associated with maximal oxygen uptake did not consistently perturb the running kinematics of trained endurance runners.
