In this paper, the mechanical response of a one-dimensional (1D) hexagonal piezoelectric quasicrystal (PQC) thin film is analyzed under electric and temperature loads. Based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, a theoretical model is proposed, resulting in coupled governing integral equations that account for interfacial normal and shear stresses. To numerically solve these integral equations, an expansion method using orthogonal Chebyshev polynomials is employed. The results provide insights into the interfacial stresses, axial force, as well as axial and vertical deformations of the PQC ***, fracture criteria, including stress intensity factors, mode angles, and the Jintegral, are evaluated. The solution is compared with the membrane theory, neglecting the normal stress and bending deformation. Finally, the effects of stiffness and aspect ratio on the PQC film are thoroughly discussed. This study serves as a valuable guide for controlling the mechanical response and conducting safety assessments of PQC film systems.

The age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. Menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANsYs, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

Boron （B） is an essential nutrient for normal growth of higher plants, and B availability in soil and irrigation water is an important determinant of agricultural production. To date, a primordial function of B is undoubtedly its structural role in the ceil wall; however, there is increasing evidence for a possible role of B in other processes such as the maintenance of plasma membrane function and several metabolic pathways. In recent years, the knowledge of the molecular basis of B deficiency and toxicity responses in plants has advanced greatly. The aim of this review is to provide an update on recent findings related to these topics, which can contribute to a better understanding of the role of B in plants.

Plants rely on primary metabolism for flexible adaptation to environmental ***,through a combination of chemical genetics and forward genetic studies in Arabidopsis plants,we identified that the essential folate metabolic pathway exerts a salicylic acid-independent negative control on plant *** of the folate pathway promotes enhanced resistance to Pseudom onas syringae DC3000 via activation of a primed immune state in plants,whereas its implementation results in enhanced *** proteomics analysis using immune-defective mutants identified a methionine synthase(METs1),in charge of the synthesis of Met through the folate-dependent 1C metabolism,acting as a nexus between the folate pathway and plant *** of METs1 represses plant immunity and is accompanied by genome-wide global increase in DNA methylation,revealing that imposing a methylation pressure at the genomic level compromises plant *** together,these results indicate that the folate pathway represents a new layer of complexity in the regulation of plant defense responses.
