In this study,we propose a mathematical model and perform numerical simulations for the antibubble *** antibubble is a droplet of liquid sur-rounded by a thin film of a lighter liquid,which is also in a heavier surrounding *** model is based on a phase-field method using a conservative Allen–Cahn equa-tion with a space-time dependent Lagrange multiplier and a modified Navier–stokes *** this model,the inner fluid,middle fluid and outer fluid locate in specific diffusive layer regions according to specific phase filed(order parameter)*** we represent the antibubble with conventional binary or ternary phase-field models,then it is difficult to have stable thin ***,the proposed approach can prevent nonphysical breakup of fluid film during the *** numerical tests are performed to verify the efficiency of the proposed model.

In this perspective article,the synthesis and thermodynamic properties of aqueous solutions of formate salts(Fs,HCO2-)are described in relationship to the concept of *** physiochemical properties of solid Fs,aqueous formate solutions,and aqueous bicarbonate solutions set the limitations for storage capacity,deliverable capacity,and usable H2capacity of these H2carriers,*** parameters will help in the design of systems that use H2carriers for storage and transport of H2for fuel cell power ***,as well as admixtures with formic acid(FA,H2CO2),have potential to address the goals outlined in the *** of Energy’s H2@scale initiative to store in chemical bonds a significant quantity of energy(hundreds of megawatts.obtained from large scale renewable resources.

As the scaling down of si devices.in the range less than few nm has been expedited up to a physical limit of si,low dimensional materials have been regarded as one of next generation *** a variety of applications,studies on photodetectors have been actively investigated with their novel optical properties as well as astonis.ing electrical ***,most of research has focused on single device-type photodetector(i.e.,photo-diode or photo-transistor).Contrary to common photodetector,light-to-frequency circuits(LFCs)are based on frequency reading with photosensitive ring oscillators,which has better noise immunity and reduced system complexity,thus,can be utilized to novel application even in internet of things(loT)and bio&medical *** this review,low dimensional materials based circuit level photodetectors,which are core elements as the form of either inverters or ring oscillators for demonstration of LFCs,are *** with the introduction of low dimensional materials and their optical properties for optoelectronics,a fundamental concept for LFCs is specifically ***,research progress on low dimensional material based photosensitive inverters is addressed according to the types of ***,as one of practical method for the improvement of photodetector performance,molecular doping technology is ***,complete system of LFCs and its digitization for demonstration of production level,and potential application in the respective four aspects,(i)medical spO_(2) detection,(ii)biological fluidic system,(iii)auto-lighting in agriculture,and(iv)optical feedback and sensing systems,are presented as systematic way to address the envisioned practical applications for the future displays.including virtual reality and augmented reality,and *** a remark,LFCs based on low dimensional semiconductors are expected to be one of core components.in trillion’s sensor area.

This paper examines the annual highest daily maximum temperature （DMT） in Korea by using data from 56 weather stations and employing spatial extreme modeling. Our approach is based on max-stable processes （MsP） with schlather＇s characterization. We divide the country into four regions for a better model fit and identify the best model for each region. We show that regional MsP modeling is more suitable than MsP modeling for the entire region and the pointwise generalized extreme value distribution approach. The advantage of spatial extreme modeling is that more precise and robust return levels and some indices of the highest temperatures can be obtained for observation stations and for locations with no observed data, and so help to determine the effects and assessment of vulnerability as well as to downscale extreme events.

Adequate bowel preparation is important for successful colonoscopic examination. several effective colonic cleansing agents are available and routinely prescribed, but each carries its own limitations and benefits from particular dosing regimens. The most frequently prescribed colonic cleansing agent, the polyethylene glycol (PEG) cathartic solution, suffers from low patient compliance in general, due to its unpalatable taste and smell coupled with the large ingested volumes required. However, PEG is preferred over other cathartics for use in individuals of advanced age, sufferers of chronic kidney disease, heart failure and inflammatory bowel disease, and women who are pregnant or lactating. The laxative agents sodium phosphate (NaP) and sodium picosulfate plus magnesium citrate have been applied and have improved patient compliance and tolerance. NaP, however, should be avoided in individuals with impaired renal function or plasma clearance, such as those with chronic kidney disease, who are taking drugs that affect renal function, or who suffer from heart failure. Other special conditions that may affect an individual’s tolerance of the cathartic agent or ability to complete the administration routine include stroke, severe constipation, hematochezia, suspicious lower gastrointes.inal bleeding, and mental disorders such as dementia. All ingestible bowel preparation solutions can be instilled into the stomach and duodenum through nasogastric tube or esophagogastroduodenoscope with the aid of a water irrigation pump for patients with difficulties swallowing or inges.ing the large volumes of fluid required. In addition, dietary regimens based on clear liquids and low-residue foods for 1-4 d prior to the colonoscopy may be supplemental bowel preparation strategies. Achieving an effective and safe cleansing of the bowel is important for successful colonoscopy in all patients, so full knowledge of the individual’s condition and capabilities is necessary

An amphiphilic tetrathiafulvalene molecule was designed and readily synthesized. The am-TTF can gelate a variety of organic solvents.in view of multiple intermolecular interactions, especially in polar *** observation provided clear evidence for the self-assembled micro/nanofibers morphologies.in gelation state. Moreover, XRD measurements.indicated the formation of highly-ordered columnar structures. The FT-IR spectra revealed that the formation of mixed-valence states with the absorption over 1700 cm^(-1), showing the semiconductive behaviors with the conductivity of 10^(-4)s/cm. The am-TTF based conducting fibers could be promising candidates for organic electronics.

Climate change detection, attribution, and prediction were studied for the surface temperature in the Northeast Asian region using NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data and three coupled-model simulations from ECHAM4/OPYC3, HadCM3, and CCCma GCMs (Canadian Centre for Climate Modeling and Analysis general circulation model). The Bayesian fingerprint approach was used to perform the detection and attribution test for the anthropogenic climate change signal associated with changes.in anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) and sulfate aerosol (sO42-) concentrations for the Northeast Asian temperature. It was shown that there was a weak anthropogenic climate change signal in the Northeast Asian temperature change. The relative contribution of CO2 and sO42- effects to total temperature change in Northeast Asia was quantified from ECHAM4/OPYC3 and CCCma GCM simulations using analysis of variance. For the observed temperature change for the period of 1959-1998, the CO2 effect contributed 10%-21% of the total variance and the direct cooling effect of sO42- played a less important role (0%-7%) than the CO2 effect. The prediction of surface temperature change was estimated from the second CO2+sO42- scenario run of ECHAM4/OPYC3 which has the least error in the simulation of the present-day temperature field near the Korean Peninsula. The result shows that the area-mean surface temperature near the Korean Peninsula will increase by about 1.1° by the 2040s relative to the 1990s.

A genetic algorithm was used to optimize the parameters of the two-dimensional storm surge/Tide Operational Model （sTORM） to improve sea level *** genetic algorithm was applied to nine typhoons that affected the Korean Peninsula during *** following model parameters were used：the bottom drag coefficient,the background horizontal diffusivity,smagorinski＇s horizontal viscosity,and the sea level pressure ***,the simulation results using the optimized,mean,and median parameter values improved sea level *** four estimated parameters improved the sea level prediction by 76% and 54% in the bias and root mean square error for Typhoon Kalmaegi （0807） in 2008,***-month simulations of February and August 2008 were also improved using the estimated *** study demonstrates that parameter optimization on sTORM can improve sea level prediction.
