Bi2Te3-based materials have drawn much attention from the thermoelectric community due to their excellent thermoelectric performance near room ***,the stability of existing n-type Bi2（Te,Se）3materials is still low due to the evaporation energy of Se (37.70 kJ mol-1) being much lower than that of Te (52.55 kJ mol-1).The evaporated Se from the material causes problems in interconnects of the module while degrading the efficiency.

Rainfall simulators(RS)have been used,above all,to evaluate hydrological processes related to soil water infiltration,surface runoff and soil *** allow repeatability of rain application with different precipitation intensities in field and/or laboratory conditions and should produce events with physical characteristics similar to natural *** this manuscript,we carried out a bibliometric and scientometric analysis of studies with simulated rainfall in Brazil to assess the temporal evolution of publications,the main topics addressed and the degree of technological development of the *** searched for the terms“rainfall simulator”OR“simulated rainfall”AnD“Brazil”in the Scopus,Web of Science,SciELO and Google Scholar *** found 143 articles published in the last 37 years(1985-2022).Our findings indicate that the main research areas covered in papers are soil erosion(57.34%),soil water infiltration(24.47%),nutrient losses(9.8%)and RS development and calibration/assessment(8.39%).In recent years,the number of published papers in international high-impact factor journals has *** of the papers(49.65%)refer to studies carried out by institutions located in the south and southeast regions of ***,there is a large gap of studies on simulated rainfall in other regions of Brazil,where important biomes such as the Cerrado,Amazon,Caatinga,and their transitions are *** study informs research priorities on soil erosion under simulated rainfall and provides a bibliographic database that can assist in more detailed future analyses.

Some exact solutions of the oscillatory motion of a generalized second grade fluid in an annular region of two cylinders

The velocity field and the associated shear stress corresponding to the longitudinal oscillatory flow of a generalized second grade fluid, between two infinite coaxial circular cylinders, are determined by means of the Laplace and Hankel transforms. Initially, the fluid and cylinders are at rest and at t = 0＋ both cylinders suddenly begin to oscillate along their common axis with simple harmonic motions having angular frequencies Ω1 and Ω2. The solutions that have been obtained are presented under integral and series forms in terms of the generalized G and R functions and satisfy the governing differential equation and all imposed initial and boundary conditions. The respective solutions for the motion between the cylinders, when one of them is at rest, can be obtained from our general solutions. Furthermore, the corresponding solutions for the similar flow of ordinary second grade fluid and newtonian fluid are also obtained as limiting cases of our general solutions. At the end, the effect of different parameters on the flow of ordinary second grade and generalized second grade fluid are investigated graphically by plotting velocity profiles.

The devastating effect of soil erosion is one of the major sources of land degradation that affects human lives in many ways which occur mainly due to deforestation, poor agricultural practices, overgrazing,wildfire and urbanization. Soil erosion often leads to soil truncation, loss of fertility, slope instability, *** causes irreversible effects on the poorly renewable soil resource. In view of this, a study was conducted in Kelantan River basin to predict soil loss as influenced by long-term land use/land-cover(LULC) changes in the area. The study was conducted with the aim of predicting and assessing soil erosion as it is influenced by long-term LULC changes. The 13,100 km^2 watershed was delineated into four sub-catchments Galas, Pergau, Lebir and nenggiri for precise result estimation and ease of execution. GIS-based Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE) model was used to predict soil loss in this study. The model inputs used for the temporal and spatial calculation of soil erosion include rainfall erosivity factor,topographic factor, land cover and management factor as well as erodibility factor. The results showed that 67.54% of soil loss is located under low erosion potential(reversible soil loss) or 0-1 t ha^(-1) yr^(-1) soil loss in Galas, 59.17% in Pergau, 53.32% in Lebir and 56.76% in nenggiri all under the 2013 LULC *** from the correlation of soil erosion rates with LULC changes indicated that cleared land in all the four catchments and under all LULC conditions(1984-2013) appears to be the dominant with the highest erosion losses. Similarly, grassland and forest were also observed to regulate erosion rates in the area. This is because the vegetation cover provided by these LULC types protects the soil from direct impact of rain drops which invariably reduce soil loss to the barest minimum. A total of 5 biochemically characterized lipase positive bacterial strains were screened for Polyhydroxyalkanoates(PHA)production by nile blue staining and confirmation was done by Sudan Black *** production ability for all strains was optimized followed by time profiling calculation and comparison via using glucose and two plant oils i.e.,canola and mustard *** analysis showed that glucose can serve as a carbon source for maximum biomass(2.5 g/L CDW for strain 5)and PHA production(70.3%for strain 2).PHA produced by strain 2 was further analyzed for its chemical composition and type via Fourier Transform Infrared(FT-IR)*** revealed homopolymer(PHB)and copolymer(PHB-co-PHV)production of PHA(peaks at 1743 cm-1 and 2861 cm-1,respectively)with both canola and mustard oil unlike glucose which produced only homopolymer one i.e.,PHB(peaks at 1110 cm-1,1411 cm-1 and 1650 cm-1).Crystallinity of FT-IR analyzed PHA was calculated using mathematical formulas which showed decrease from glucose to canola to mustard *** study revealed that plant oils can serve as better carbon source to produce better quality(ductile and copolymer)***,16S rRnA gene sequencing analysis showed that strain 1,strain 2,strain 3,strain 4 and strain 5 are Stenotrophomonas sp.n3,Exiguobacterium sp.n4,Exiguobacterium ***3,Cellulosimicrobium sp.A8 and Klebsiella ***2,respectively.

Loss given default(LGD)is a key parameter in credit risk management to calculate the required regulatory minimum *** internal ratings-based(IRB)approach under the Basel II allows institutions to determine the loss given default(LGD)on their *** this study,we have estimated LGD for a credit portfolio data by using beta regression with precision parameter(∅)and mean parameter(μ).The credit portfolio data was obtained from a banking institution in Jordan;for the period of January 2010 untilDecember *** the first stage,we have used the“outstandingamount”and“amount of borrowing”to find LGD of each default borrower(494 out of 4393 borrower).In the second stage,we fit univariate parametric distributions to the LGD data to obtain the beta *** that,we have estimated the values of∅based on microeconomic variables(SPP,OE and LR).Moreover,we have estimated the values ofμbased on macroeconomic variables(GDP and Inflation rate).Finally,we have compared between six different link functions(Logit,loglog,probit,cloglog,cauchit,and log),which have used with∅andμ.The results show that Beta regression with probit link function has the highest R-squared with accepted measurements for logL,AIC and BIC.

Amelioration of saline-sodic soils through land preparation with three tillage implements （disc plow, rotavator and cultivator） each followed by application of sulfuric acid at 20% of gypsum （CaSO4-2H2O） requirement or no sulfuric acid application during crop growth period was evaluated in a field study for 2.5 years at three sites, i.e., Jhottianwala, Gabrika （Thabal）, and Thatta Langar, in Tehsil Pindi Bhattian, Hafizahad District, Pakistan. Within 2.5 years, there was a decrease in the salinity parameters measured （electrical conductivity, pH, and sodium adsorption ratio）, with a gradual increase in rice and wheat grain yields. It was observed that the disc plow, which not only ensured favorable yields but also helped improve soil health at all the three sites, was the most effective tillage implement. Also, application of sulfuric acid resulted in higher yields and promoted rapid amelioration of the saline-sodic soils.

The lead-free SrZrO3-modified Bi0.5na0.5TiO3(BnT-SZ100 x, with x=0-0.15) ceramics were fabricated by a conventional solid-state reaction method. The effects of SZ addition on BnT ceramics were investigated through X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), ferroelectric and electric field-induced strain characterizations. XRD analysis revealed a pure perovskite phase without any traces of secondary phases. Ferroelectric and bipolar field induced-strain curves indicated a disruption of ferroelectric order upon SZ addition into BnT ceramics. A maximum value of remnant polarization(32 μC/cm2) and piezoelectric constant(102 pC/n) was observed at 5%(mole fraction) of SZ. Maximum value of the electric field-induced strain(Smax=0.24%) corresponding to normalized strain(Smax/Emax= d*33= 340 pm/V) was obtained at BnT-SZ9.

分子水平上阐明受精过程一直是有性繁殖研究中的一大难题。解决这一难题对生命的繁殖和成功的体外受精都至关重要。研究发现,精子和卵子融合在一起形成受精卵,而蛋白质间的相互作用影响受精过程。为了成功受精,精子需要具备穿透卵子外层的能力。受精过程主要分为三个部分:精子获能,精子与透明带结合诱发顶体反应;以及精子与卵子结合并且膜融合。sllp1由位于17q11.2的SPACA3编码。SLLP1抗体和重组蛋白阻断小鼠体外受精和精卵结合,表明SLLP1可能在精卵相互作用中发挥重要作用。PDIA3也被称为 ERp57,属于蛋白二硫键异构酶(Protein disulfide isomerase,PDI)家族,能够催化蛋白中的二硫键反生氧化还原反应。先前的研究表明,PDIA3也可能参与精子运动和配子融合。到目前为止,这两种蛋白质之间是否存在相互作用仍然未知。因此,我们从雄性绵羊睾丸组织中克隆了 sllp1基因,长度为566 bp;并且构建了原核表达重组载体pET-28a-sllp1,表达和纯化重组蛋白质SLLP1-HIS。本研究构建了酵母双杂交重组载体pGAD-sllp1和pGBK-pdia3,分别转化 Y187、Y2HGold 菌株并杂交,在 SD/-Trp/-His/-Ade/-Leu/X-α-Gal/AbA缺陷型固体培养基上长出了蓝色菌落。结果初步证明,两种蛋白之间存在相互作用。构建了哺乳动物双杂交系统的pACT-pdia3、pBInD-sllp1载体,结果以均数±标准差(n = 3)表示,单因素方差分析执行。阳性对照组p<0.01,存在显著差异;实验组p<0.01,具有明显差异,表明PDIA3和SLLP1在293T细胞中有较强的相互作用。上述实验结果表明,PDIA3和SLLP1之间存在直接的相互作用。
