Phytochemicals,pharmacological and ethnomedicinal studies of Artocarpus:A scoping review

This article aims to review the scientific data on phytochemical and pharmacological studies of Artocarpus collected from Malaysia as well as to highlight their usage as ethnomedicine *** 55 Artocarpus species are distributed worldwide and 32 of the Artocarpus species can be found in *** species are well known worldwide for their edible fruits such as Artocarpus heterophyllus(jackfruit),Artocarpus integer(chempedak),and Artocarpus communis(breadfruit).Aside from its edible fruits,the timber is valued for light constructions,crates,large canoes,and *** literature for this review was searched using the term‘Artocarpus’,‘Artocarpus Malaysia’,‘Artocarpus extracts’,‘Artocarpus traditional medicine’and‘Artocarpus ethnomedicine’from published books and scientific journals via various engines such as The Web of Science,PubMed,Science Direct,Scopus,Research Gate,and Google *** references cited from the retrieved articles were also scanned and *** published studies on phytochemical and pharmacological activities of Malaysia’s Artocarpus species up to january 2021 were included in this *** on phytochemical studies of Malaysia’s Artocarpus revealed the isolation of flavonoids as the major *** on pharmacological activities of the isolated phytochemicals showed that these compounds exhibited significant disease-linkedenzyme(tyrosinase,cholinesterase,glucosidase)inhibitors as well as antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,antimicrobial,and cytotoxic *** ethnomedicinal data gathered are useful to understand and prioritize Artocarpus species that can contribute to potent phytochemicals and possibly new drug *** review also provides valuable information for the future development of isolated compounds from Artocarpus species.

Geostatistical data plays a vibrant role for surface-based reservoir modeling through outcrop analogues,which is used to understand three-dimensional(3D)variability of petrophysical *** main purpose of this study is to improvise the surface-based 3D geo-modeling to demonstrate petrophysical characteristics and heterogeneities of Sandakan reservoirs,NW *** used point cloud data from Light Detection and Ranging(Li DAR)to build high-resolution virtual outcrop modeling(VOM)onto which we mapped 6 different *** and permeability of core plugs were measured to determine the average variance of petrophysical properties for each *** utilizing the integration of VOMs analogues and petrophysical properties in Petrel^(TM),we demonstrated the distribution and associations of all lithofacies in pseudo wells that have inherent thin beds heterogeneities in 3D geocellular *** results concluded that the heterogeneity of thin beds in lithofacies is dependent on porosity and permeability with input *** to the final model,cross-bedding sandstone(CBS),hummocky cross-stratified sandstone(HCSS)and trough cross-bedding sandstone(TCBS)show good reservoir quality due to high porosity ranging from:25.6%to 20.4%and,19.3%-14.5%,and permeability ranging from:74.03 mD to 66.84 mD and,64.86 mD to 21.01 *** contrast,massive to weak laminae sandstone(MWLS)and bioturbated sandstone(BS)show fair to poor reservoir quality,caused baffling of surrounding mud sediments in the reservoir *** also revealed that Li DAR based VOM with petrophysical properties can significantly reduce the risk and minimize the cost of reservoir modeling in petroleum industry.

j/ψ-j/ψ scattering cross sections of quadratic and Cornell potentials

We study the scattering of j/ψ - j/ψ mesons using quadratic and Cornell potentials in our tetraquark(cccc)*** system’s wavefunction in the restricted gluonic basis,which is written by utilizing the adiabatic approximation and Hamiltonian,is used via a quark potential *** resonating group technique is used to obtain the integral equations,which are solved to obtain the unknown inter-cluster dependence of the total wavefunction of our tetraquark system.T-Matrix elements are calculated from the solutions,and eventually,the scattering cross sections are obtained using the two *** compare these cross sections and find that the magnitudes of scattering cross sections of quadratic potential are higher than the Cornell potential.

GEANT4 simulation of gamma ray in a double-gap resistive plate chamber

For more than 20 years nuclear physicists have used the GEANT code to simulate particle-matter interaction. In most recent version, GEANT4 is a toolkit for simulating the passage of particles though matter, which contains a complete range of functionality including tracking, geometry, physics models, and hits. In this article, an attempt to use GEANT4 to model a double-gap resistive plate chamber （RPC） with its improved efficiency is presented. The efficiencies of the double-gap RPC have been evaluated as a function of gamma energy range 0.005-1000MeV. A comparison to available previous simulation package GEANT3 data is also performed.

Aging is linked to the deterioration of many physical and cognitive abilities and is the leading risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease. The growing aging population is a significant healthcare problem globally that researchers must investigate to better understand the underlying aging processes. Advances in microarrays and sequencing techniques have resulted in deeper analyses of diverse essential genomes(e.g., mouse, human, and rat) and their corresponding cell types, their organ-specific transcriptomes, and the tissue involved in aging. Traditional gene controllers such as DNA-and RNA-binding proteins significantly influence such programs, causing the need to sort out long non-coding RNAs, a new class of powerful gene regulatory elements. However, their functional significance in the aging process and senescence has yet to be investigated and identified. Several recent researchers have associated the initiation and development of senescence and aging in mammals with several well-reported and novel long non-coding RNAs. In this review article, we identified and analyzed the evolving functions of long non-coding RNAs in cellular processes, including cellular senescence, aging, and age-related pathogenesis, which are the major hallmarks of long non-coding RNAs in aging.

For a system of current interest（composed of charm, anticharm and a pair of light quarks）, we show trends in phenomenological implications of QCD-based improvements to a simple quark model treatment. We employ a resonating group method to render this difficult four-body problem manageable. We use a quadratic confinement so as to be able to improve beyond the Born approximation. We report the position of the pole corresponding to the D^0D^0＊ molecule for the best fit of a model parameter to the relevant QCD simulations. We point out the interesting possibility that the pole can be shifted to 3872 Me V by introducing another parameter I0 that changes the strength of the interaction in this one component of X（3872）. The revised value of this second parameter can guide future trends in modeling of the full exotic meson X（3872）. We also report the changes with I_0 in the S-wave spin averaged cross sections for D^0D^0＊-→ωj/ψ and D^0D^0＊-→ρj/ψ. These cross sections are important regarding the study of QGP（quark gluon plasma）.

In this study,we proposed a new model to improve the accuracy of fore-casting the stock market volatility *** hypothesized model was validated empirically using a data set collected from the Saudi Arabia stock Exchange(Tada-wul).The data is the daily closed price index data from August 2011 to December 2019 with 2027 *** proposed forecasting model combines the best maximum overlapping discrete wavelet transform(MODWT)function(Bl14)and exponential generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity(EGARCH)*** results show the model's ability to analyze stock market data,highlight important events that contain the most volatile data,and improve forecast *** results were compared from a number of mathematical mod-els,which are the non-linear spectral model,autoregressive integrated moving aver-age(ARIMA)model and EGARCH *** performance of the forecasting model will be evaluated based on some of error functions such as Mean absolute percentage error(MAPE),Mean absolute scaled error(MASE)and Root means squared error(RMSE).

A CsI(Tl) detector array used in the experiment of the proton-rich nucleus ^(17)Ne

To investigate the configurations of the valence protons in Borromean nucleus 17Ne, a CsI(Tl) detector array, which consists of 9 CsI crystals (26×26×20mm3) coupled with photodiodes, has been successfully used in the 17Ne experiment to measure the energy of protons. In order to find the optimal working conditions and get the best energy resolutions, several technologies (including various wrapping materials, wrapping and coupling methods) have been used. The testing results showed that the best energy resolution of the CsI(Tl) is about 3.3% using the 241Am α-source. The primary testing results with the proton beam were also provided.

Effects of AG1 and AG2 QTLs on Nonstructural Carbohydrate and Seed Management Options for Rice Seedling Growth and Establishment under Flooding Stress

Rice(Oryza sativa)plants acquired excess photosynthates in the form of nonstructural carbohydrates(NSCs)in their stems and *** keen interest in rice NSC,the dynamics of NSC accumulation,translocation and re-accumulation have not yet been well ***1 and AG2 QTLs associated with flooding tolerance through catalyzing starch into soluble sugar in germinating *** we conducted three experiments,greenhouse and field to lay the groundwork for large-scale diversity studies on grain NSC and some agronomic traits under direct-seeded rice(DSR)system,using elite lines incorporating AG1,AG2 and AG1-AG2 QTLs into the popular varieties PSB Rc82 and Ciherang-Sub1 along with the donors kho Hlan On(AG1)and Ma-Zhan Red(AG2).In germinating seedlings,soluble sugars increased,while starch concentration decreased gradually especially in the tolerant checks and AG1-AG2 introgression lines under flooded *** sugar accumulation in stem started to increase from the vegetative stage and peaked at the panicle initiation stage then gradually decreased towards the maturity *** Sub1-AG lines had higher sugar and starch concentrations at different growth stages than other genotypes in wet season 2016 and dry season *** survival rate was positively correlated with the stem NSC at the early vegetative stage(21 days after sowing),and stem NSC was positively associated with plant height at different growth *** the tested seeding rate,the most suitable seeding rate,4 g/m2 with shallow burial depth(0.5 cm),resulted in better seedling establishment,relatively higher seedling vigor index and higher leaf area index under flooding in DSR *** of AG1-AG2 QTLs had no any negative impact on nonstructural carbohydrate,germination rate,and growth and biomass production.

Objective:To assess the knowledge on Zika virus(ZIkV) infection among healthcare providers(doctors) in Aceh province,***:A self-administered internet based survey was conducted from 3 May to 3 june 2016 among the members of doctor organizations in Aceh province.A set of validated,pre-tested questionnaire was used to measure knowledge regarding ZIkV infection and to collect a range of explanatory variables.A two-steps logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the association of participants' demographic,workplace characteristics and other explanatory variables with the ***:A total of 442 participants included in the final analysis and 35.9% of them(159) had a good knowledge on ZIkV *** model revealed that type of occupation,type of workplace,availability of access to medical journals and experience made Zika disease as differential diagnose were associated with knowledge on ZIkV *** addition,three significant source of information regarding ZIkV were online media(60%),medical article or medical news(16.2%) and television(13.2%).Conclusion:The knowledge of the doctors in Aceh regarding ZIkV infection is relatively *** who have a good knowledge on ZIkV infection are more confident to established ZIkV disease as differential diagnosis in their clinical ***,such program to increase healthcare providers' knowledge regarding ZIkV infection is needed to screen potential carriers of ZIkV infection.
