To efficiently decrease ablation heat accumulation and improve the ability of ZrC-SiC/TaC coatings to protect carbon/carbon(C/C)composites,a thermally conductive nanonetwork with a ceramic@carbon core-shell structure was designed and ***-derived SiC/TaC with a graphene carbon shell was synthesized and introduced into a ZrC coating by supersonic atmospheric plasma spraying(SAPS).Graphene shell paths increased the heat transfer capability by lowering the surface temperature to approximately 200℃during oxyacetylene *** heat dissipation of the graphene shell in the ZrC-SiC/TaC@C coating reduced the volatilization of low-melting-point phases and delayed the sintering of ZrO_(2) ***,the graphene shell in ZrC-SiC/TaC@C coating decreased the mass and linear ablation rates by 91.4%and 93.7%compared to ZrC-SiC/TaC coating,*** work provided a constructive idea for improving the ablation resistance of the coatings by incorporating carbon nanomaterials as a function of heat dissipation.

Soil extracellular electron transfer(EET)is a pivotal biological process within the realm of ***,EET suffers from a lack of predictive ***,an intricately crafted machine learning model has been developed for the purpose of predicting soil EET by using the physicochemical properties of soil as independent input variables and the EET capabilities in terms of current density(j_(max))and Coulombic charge(C_(out))as dependent output *** autoencoder ensemble stacking(AES)model was developed to address the aforementioned issue by integrating support vector machine,multilayer perceptron,extreme gradient boosting,and light gradient boosting machine algorithms as the stacking *** 10-fold crossvalidation,the AES model exhibited notable improvements in predicting j_(max)and C_(out),with average test R^(2)values of 0.83 and 0.84,respectively,surpassing those of single machine learning(ML)models and the basic ensemble *** utilizing partial correlation plots(PDPs),Shapley Additive explanations(SHAP)values,and SHAP decision plots,we quantitatively explained the impact and contribution of the input molecules on the AES model’s predictions of j_(max)and C_(out).In the context of the SHAP method for the AES model,total carbon(TC)was identified as the most correlated descriptor for j_(max),while total organic carbon(TOC)stood out as the most relevant descriptor for C_(out).In the prediction tasks of j_(max)and C_(out)within the AES model,employing a multitask ML approach allowed the model to benefit from the shared information of input variables,thereby enhancing its overall *** study provides a feasible tool for the prediction of soil EET from soil physiochemical properties and an advanced understanding of the relationship between soil physiochemical properties and EET capability.

Organic conjugated polymers have received extensive attention due to their unique electronic ***,there have been relatively few reports on the dark photocatalytic reactions utilizing organic conjugated ***,we report the successful synthesis of an organic conjugated polymer based on poly(heptazine imide)nanocrystals(CNNCs)for H_(2)O_(2)evolution and biomedical applications using a simple salt molten method and sonication-centrifugation *** results show that these colloid CNNCs have the characteristics of photogenerated electrons accumulation and realize dark photocatalysis with high reducibility under visible light ***,these accumulating photogenerated electrons can reduce O_(2)in darkness to produce H_(2)O_(2).In addition,cytotoxicity tests were conducted and it was found that H_(2)O_(2)produced under dark conditions could oxidize L-arginine(L-Arg)to NO,which effectively killed tumors in the *** work provides an important strategy to construct organic conjugated semiconductor nanocrystals and applying them to future energy and biomedical fields.

Metal–phthalocyanines are a class of catalytically active materials promising in energy conversion and storage fields(e.g.,electrocatalysis).However,understanding and controlling the electrochemical properties in metal-phthalocyanine systems is ***,we elucidate the electrocatalytic origins of a series of cobalt-phthalocyanine molecular catalysts and finetune their electronic properties at the atomic level,both experimentally and *** interactions between the cobalt center and the local coordination environment are regulated by introducing either electron-donating or electron-withdrawing groups on the phthalocyanine ligand,and the spin-orbit splitting of cobalt is increased by~0.15 eV compared with the nonsubstituted ***,the aminated cobalt phthalocyanine-based electrocatalysts exhibit low free energies in the ratedetermining steps of the oxygen reduction(-1.68 eV)and oxygen evolution reactions(0.37 eV).This contributes to the high electrocatalytic activity(e.g.,a halfwave potential of 0.84 V and an overpotential of 0.30 V at 10 mAcm^(-2)),featuring a high selectivity of a four-electron pathway(i.e.,a negligible by-product of hydrogen peroxide).These catalysts also exhibit exceptional kinetic current density(Tafel slope of 100 mV dec^(-1))in oxygen reduction reactions,in addition to a superior power density(158 mWcm^(-2))and a high cycling stability(>1,300 cycles)in Zn-air batteries,outperforming the commercial Pt/C and/or RuO2counterparts.

Lenvatinib,a second-generation multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved by the FDA for first-line treatment of advanced liver cancer,facing limitations due to drug ***,we applied a multidimensional,high-throughput screening platform comprising patient-derived resistant liver tumor cells(PDCs),organoids(PDOs),and xenografts(PDXs)to identify drug susceptibilities for conquering lenvatinib resistance in clinically relevant *** and passaging of PDCs and PDOs from resistant patient liver tumors retained functional fidelity to lenvatinib treatment,expediting drug repurposing *** screening identified romidepsin,YM155,apitolisib,NVP-TAE684 and dasatinib as potential antitumor agents in lenvatinib-resistant PDC and PDO ***,romidepsin treatment enhanced antitumor response in syngeneic mouse models by triggering immunogenic tumor cell death and blocking the EGFR signaling pathway.A combination of romidepsin and immunotherapy achieved robust and synergistic antitumor effects against lenvatinib resistance in humanized immunocompetent PDX ***,our findings suggest that patient-derived liver cancer models effectively recapitulate lenvatinib resistance observed in clinical settings and expedite drug discovery for advanced liver cancer,providing a feasible multidimensional platform for personalized medicine.
