The artificial neural network method has been applied to the relationship between the atomic parameters and intemction packeters of binary alloy Phases, and the principle of thermodynamics in combination with artificial neural network method has been used for the computerized phase diagrams of continuous solid solution of bigamy alloy systems. The computerized phase diagrams well agree with the real phase diagmms.

Numerical investigations of the ＇banding＇ microstructure formation during solidification of Ti-6Al-4 V alloy in the centrifugal casting are conducted using a multi-scale model, which combines the finite difference method （FDM） at the macroscale with a cellular automaton （CA） model at the microscale. The macro model is used to simulate the fluid flow and heat transfer throughout the casting. The micro model is used to predict the nucleation and growth of microstructures. With the proposed model, numerical simulations are performed to study the influences of the nucleation density, mould rotation speed, and casting size upon the ＇banding＇ microstructure formation. It is noted that changing the nucleation density has a minor effect on the microstructure formation. The rotation speed promotes the formation of ＇banding＇ microstructure, which is more noticeable for larger size castings. The ＇maj.r mechanism responsible for this ＇banding＇ phenomenon is the spatial variation in cooling rates created by centrifugal force.

Two Ni/Ni3Al-interface-contained cluster models with/without lattice misfit are studied by first-principles method to clarify the debates about the segregation behaviors of Hafnium （Hf） and explore the influence of lattice misfit on the ductility effect of Hr. It is found that though Hf prefers to substitute A1 rather than Ni in Ni3A1 phase within most of the investigated misfit range, its stronger preferring to Ni phase than NiaA1 phase makes it impossible to go into Ni3A1 phase to occupy A1 site in Ni-Ni3A1 alloys. Bond order analysis in Hf-free case shows that lattice misfit has different effects on the Griffith work of interfacial cleavage 27int/E and the maximum theoretical shear stress Zmax of Ni and Ni3A1, contributing to the existence of anomalous strength-temperature phenomena in NiaA1 alloys. However, the addition of Hf will make the 27int/E （or Zmax） of both Ni3A1 and Ni decrease （or increase） with lattice misfit, indicating that the addition of Hf may make the anomalous strength-temperature relationship in Ni3A1 region disappear locally.

An experimental investigation is described for the characteristics of convective boiling flow instabilities in horizontally helically coiled tubes using a steam-water two-phase closed circulation test loop at pressure from 0.5 MPa to 3.5 MPa. Three kinds of oscillation are reported: density waves; pressure drop excursions; thermal fluctuations. We describe their dependence on main system parameters such as system pressure, mass flowrate, inlet subcooling, compressible volume and heat flux. Utilizing the experimental data together with conservation constraints, a dimensionless correlation is proposed for the occurrence of density waves.

By using AP-FIM the varity of the ordered degree of Ni_3Al with L1_2 structure with B content was studied. The possibility of boron improving ductility was also discussed from bonding between Ni and Al atoms, and antisite defects in Ni_3Al. The extent of ordering is reduced with an increase in boron content and the autisite defects are most obvious for 0.52at.K B-doped sample that has the best ductility. Some results were verified by X-ray diffraction non. The addition of boron not only influences electron environment at grain boundary but also in the interior of Ni_3Al gm ins, the latter is favorable to improve the ductility of Ni_3Al grains.

The conversion and storage of photothermal energy using phase change materials(PCMs)represent an optimal approach for harnessing clean and sustainable solar ***,we encapsulated polyethylene glycol(PEG)in montmorillonite aerogels(3D-Mt)through vacuum impregnation to prepare 3D-Mt/PEG composite *** used as a support matrix,3D-Mt can effectively prevent PEG leakage and act as a flame-retardant barrier to reduce the flammability of ***,3D-Mt/PEG demonstrates outstanding shape retention,increased thermal energy storage density,and commendable thermal and chemical *** phase transition enthalpy of 3D-Mt/PEG can reach 167.53 j.g and remains stable even after 50 heating-cooling ***,the vertical sheet-like structure of 3D-Mt establishes directional heat transport channels,facilitating efficient phonon *** configuration results in highly anisotropic thermal conductivities that ensure swift thermal responses and efficient heat *** study addresses the shortcomings of PCMs,including the issues of leakage and inadequate flame *** achieves the development and design of 3D-Mt/PEG with ultrahigh strength,superior flame retardancy,and directional heat ***,this work offers a design strategy for the preparation of high-performance composite *** 3D-Mt/PEG with vertically aligned and well-ordered array structure developed in this research shows great potential for thermal management and photothermal conversion applications.

The identification of j.ts originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rej.cting j.ts from gluon over j.ts from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the j.t,and the other combines several j.t substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the j.t *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for j.ts with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.
