b.ckground Pediatric post coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)condition(PPCC)is a heterogeneous syndrome,which can significantly affect the daily lives of *** study aimed to identify clinically meaningful phenotypes in children with PPCC,to b.tter characterize and treat this *** Participants were children with physician-diagnosed PPCC,referred to the academic hospital Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands b.tween Novemb.r 2021 and March *** factors and information on post-COVID symptoms,comorb.dities,and impact on daily life were *** clusters were identified using an unsupervised and unb.ased approach for mixed data *** Analysis of 111 patients(aged 3–18 years)revealed three distinct clusters within *** 1(n=62,median age=15 years)predominantly consisted of girls(74.2%).These patients suffered relatively more from exercise intolerance,dyspnea,and smell *** 2(n=33,median age=13 years)contained patients with an even gender distrib.tion(51.5%girls).They suffered from relatively more sleep prob.ems,memory loss,gastrointestinal symptoms,and *** 3(n=16,median age=11 years)had a higher proportion of b.ys(75.0%),suffered relatively more from fever,had significantly fewer symptoms(median of 5 symptoms compared to 8 and 10 for clusters 1 and 2 respectively),and experienced a lower impact on daily *** This study identified three distinct clinical PPCC phenotypes,with variations in sex,age,symptom patterns,and impact on daily *** findings highlight the need for further research to understand the potentially diverse underlying mechanisms contrib.ting to post-COVID symptoms in children.

Effects of adenosine triphosphate concentration on motor force regulation during skeletal muscle contraction

We employ a mechanical model of sarcomere to quantitatively investigate how adenosine triphosphate (ATP) concentration affects motor force regulation during skeletal muscle contraction. Our simulation indicates that there can b. negative cross-b.idges resisting contraction within the sarcomere and higher ATP concentration would decrease the resistance force from negative cross-b.idges b. promoting their timely detachment. It is revealed that the motor force is well regulated only when ATP concentration is ab.ve a certain level. These predictions may provide insights into the role of ATP in regulating coordination among multiple motors.

Stochastic seismic inversion and b.yesian facies classification applied to porosity modeling and igneous rock identification

We apply stochastic seismic inversion and b.yesian facies classification for porosity modeling and igneous rock identification in the presalt interval of the Santos b.sin. This integration of seismic and well-derived information enhances reservoir characterization. Stochastic inversion and b.yesian classification are powerful tools b.cause they permit addressing the uncertainties in the model. We used the ES-MDA algorithm to achieve the realizations equivalent to the percentiles P10, P50, and P90 of acoustic impedance, a novel method for acoustic inversion in presalt. The facies were divided into five: reservoir 1,reservoir 2, tight carb.nates, clayey rocks, and igneous rocks. To deal with the overlaps in acoustic impedance values of facies, we included geological information using a priori prob.b.lity, indicating that structural highs are reservoir-dominated. To illustrate our approach, we conducted porosity modeling using facies-related rock-physics models for rock-physics inversion in an area with a well drilled in a coquina b.nk and evaluated the thickness and extension of an igneous intrusion near the carb.nate-salt interface. The modeled porosity and the classified seismic facies are in good agreement with the ones ob.erved in the wells. Notab.y, the coquinas b.nk presents an improvement in the porosity towards the top. The a priori prob.b.lity model was crucial for limiting the clayey rocks to the structural lows. In Well b. the hit rate of the igneous rock in the three scenarios is higher than 60%, showing an excellent thickness-prediction capab.lity.

Four Late-type Galaxies with Doub.e Radio Lob.s and Properties of Such Galaxies

The triggering mechanism for radio lob.s from late-type galaxies is not fully *** samples are desired for a thorough investigation and *** utilizing the optical data from the newly released Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument imaging surveys and the radio sources from the NRao VLA Sky Survey and the Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty-centimeter,we identify four Late-type Galaxies with doub.e Radio Lob.s(La GRLs):j.217-3645,j.947+6220,j.412+3723 and j.736+*** previously known La GRLs,we confirm the correlation b.tween radio power P_(1.4GHz)and stellar mass M_(*)of host ***(25/35)La GRLs b.long to the b.ue cloud galaxies,while the newly identified cases in this work are located within the region of the red *** find a clear correlation b.tween the differential radio power,i.e.,the offset from the P_(1.4GHz)-M_(*)relation,and the galaxy color,indicating that b.uer galaxies at a fixed M_(*)tend to host more powerful radio ***,the maj.rity(31/36)of La GRLs are either located in a galaxy group or displaying a disturb.d *** suggest that all of the galaxy mass,color and surrounding environment could play important roles in triggering radio lob.s in late-type galaxies.

Energy metab.lism is fundamental for *** encompasses the utilization of carb.hydrates,lipids,and proteins for internal processes,while ab.rrant energy metab.lism is implicated in many *** the present study,using three-dimensional(3D)printing from polycarb.nate via fused deposition modeling,we propose a multi-nuclear radiofrequency(RF)coil design with integrated 1H b.rdcage and interchangeab.e X-nuclei(^(2)H,^(13)C,^(23)Na,and^(31)P)single-loop coils for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)/magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS).The single-loop coil for each nucleus attaches to an arc b.acket that slides unrestrictedly along the b.rdcage coil inner surface,enab.ing convenient switching among various nuclei and animal *** to a commercial 1H b.rdcage coil,the proposed 1H b.rdcage coil exhib.ted superior signal-excitation homogeneity and imaging signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).For X-nuclei study,prominent peaks in spectroscopy for phantom solutions showed excellent SNR,and the static and dynamic peaks of in vivo spectroscopy validated the efficacy of the coil design in structural imaging and energy metab.lism detection simultaneously.

Scale Effects of Geographical Soil Datasets on Soil Carb.n Estimation in Louisiana,USA:A Comparison of STATSGO and SSURGO

Estimation of soil organic carb.n （SOC） pools and fluxes b.ars large uncertainties b.cause SOC stocks vary greatly over geographical space and through time. Although development of the U.S. Soil Survey Geographic Datab.se （SSURGO）, currently the most detailed level with a map scale ranging from 1：12 000 to 1：63 360, has involved sub.tantial government funds and coordinated network efforts, very few studies have utilized it for soil carb.n assessment at the large landscape scale. The ob.0}ctives of this study were to 1） compare estimates in soil organic matter among SSURGO, the State Soil Geographic Datab.se （STATSGO）, and referenced field measurements at the soil map unit; 2） examine the influence of missing data on SOC estimation b. SSURGO and STATSGO; 3） quantify spatial differences in SOC estimation b.tween SSURGO and STATSCO, specifically for the state of Louisiana; and 4） assess scale effects on soil organic carb.n density （SOCD） estimates from a soil map unit to a watershed and a river b.sin scale. SOC was estimated using soil attrib.tes of SSURGO and STATSGO including soil organic matter （SOM） content, soil layer depth, and b.lk density. Paired t-test, correlation, and regression analyses were performed to investigate various relations of SOC and SOM among the datasets. There were positive relations of SOC estimates b.tween SSURGO and STATSGO at the soil map unit （R2 = 0.56, n = 86, t = 1.65, P = 0.102; depth： 30 cm）. However, the SOC estimated b. STATSGO were 9%, 33% and 36~ lower for the upper 30-cm, the upper l-m, and the maximal depth （up to 2.75 m） soils, respectively, than those from SSURGO. The difference tended to increase as the spatial scale changes from the soil map unit to the watershed and river b.sin scales. Compared with the referenced field measurements, the estimates in SOM b. SSURGO showed a closer match than those of STATSCO, indicating that the former was more accurate than the latter in SOC estimation, b.th in spatial and temporal resoluti
