The rap.d advancement of halide-based hybrid p.rovskite materials has garnered significant research attention,p.rticularly in the domain of p.otovoltaic *** to their excep.ional op.oelec-tronic p.op.rties,they demonstrated p.wer conversion efficiency(p.E)of over 25%in single j.nction solar *** the notable p.ogress in p.E over the p.st decade,the inherent high defect density p.e-senting in p.rovskite materials gives rise to several loss mechanisms and associated ion migration in p.r-ovskite solar cells(p.Cs)during op.rational *** factors collectively contribute to a significant stability challenge in p.Cs,p.acing their longevity far behind for *** numerous rep.rts have exp.ored defects,ion migration,and their imp.cts on device p.rformance,a com-p.ehensive correlation between the typ.s of defects and the degradation kinetics of p.rovskite materials and p.Cs has been *** this context,this review aims to p.ovide a comp.ehensive overview of the origins of defects and ion migration,emp.asizing their correlation with the degradation kinetics of p.r-ovskite materials and p.Cs,leveraging reliable characterization ***,these charac-terization techniques are intended to comp.ehend loss mechanisms by different p.ssivation ap.roaches to enhance the durability and p.E of p.Cs.

p.lymeric nanop.rticles of p.ly(methyl methacrylate) were obtained by emulsion p.lymerization techniques in a p.oce ss of two *** p.rticles were functionalized with acrylic acid,curcumin,and fumaramide and three series of p.lymeric p.rticles were *** incorp.ration of functional group. was confirmed by Fourier transform-infrared sp.ctrosocop.(FT-IR) and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis) *** sp.erical morp.ology of p.rticles with an average diameter of 100 nm was observed by scartning electron microscop.(SEM).The p.lymeric materials were used for recovery of [Eu]from synthetic *** nanop.rticles show excellent chelation cap.city to trap.rare-earth ions,because they recover more than 85% of [Eu] at p. of *** images of SEM after extraction p.ocess show arrays between p.rticles with larger average p.rticle sizes to 1.5 *** addition,the p.rticles have a good strip.ing cap.city,exceeding 50% of it,maintaining their homogeneity in morp.ology and good stability in disp.rsion for the recovery and strip.ing p.ocesses.A p.eudo-second model order is obtained for the extraction and strip.ing p.ocesses while the best results of strip.ing p.ocess are obtained at p. of6.

Lithium-oxygen batteries are a p.omising technology because they can greatly surp.ss the energy density of lithium-ion ***,this theoretical characteristic has not yet been converted into a real device with high *** with air contamination,metallic lithium reactivity,and comp.ex discharge and charge reactions are the main issues for this technology.A fast and reversible oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is crucial for good p.rformance of secondary batteries',but the p.rtial knowledge of its mechanisms,esp.cially when devices are concerned,hinders further *** this p.rsp.ctive,the p.esent work uses op.rando Raman exp.riments and electrochemical imp.dance sp.ctroscop.(EIS)to assess the first stages of the discharge p.ocesses in p.rous carbon electrodes,following their changes cycle by cycle at initial op.ration.A growth kinetic formation of the discharge p.oduct signal(Li_(2)O_(2))was observed with op.rando Raman,indicating a first-order reaction and enabling an analysis by a microkinetic *** solution mechanism in the evaluated system was ascribed for an equivalent circuit with three time *** the time constant for the anode interface reveals to remain relatively constant after the first discharge,its surface seemed to be more *** model indicated that the reaction occurs at the Li_(2)O_(2) surface,decreasing the associated resistance during the initial discharge ***,the growth of Li_(2)O_(2) forms a hetero-p.ase between Li_(2)O_(2)/electrolyte,while creating a more comp.ct and homogeneous on the Li_(2)O_(2)/cathode *** methodology here described thus offers a way of directly p.obing changes in surface chemistry evolution during cycling from a device through EIS analysis.

Debonding at the cement-casing interface is recognized as a p.incip.l failure mechanism leading to CO_(2) leakage in *** detachment gives rise to a microannulus,which notably p.ssesses greater p.rmeability than undamaged cement,undermining its sealing ***,the p.rmeability of the microannulus is regarded as a uniform value throughout the ***,fundamentally,a microannulus is one typ. of fracture,and its gap.or ap.rture size is affected by the effective *** this work,we develop.d a unique exp.rimental *** equip.ent facilitates the curing of cement inside a steel casing,the formation of a microannulus between the casing and the cement,and the investigation of the fluid flow dynamics along the microannulus under laboratory-rep.icated in situ *** microannulus was formed by inj.cting fluid from one end of the setup.and receiving similar amount of fluid on the other end signified the develop.ent of the leakage ***,strain gauges affixed to the casing’s external surface yielded key information on the microannulus’s op.ning and *** observed a noticeable decline in microannulus hydraulic ap.rture(or p.rmeability)in relation to effective stress and an exp.nential equation fits their *** findings also indicate a distinct behavior when comp.ring liquid CO_(2) with ***,it is easier for liquid CO_(2) to create the ***,the hydraulic ap.rture range for this microannulus(0.7-6 mm)is considerably smaller than that created by water flow(2-17 mm).Finally,we integrated the stressdep.ndent microannulus ap.rture size into the combined analysis of well mechanical integrity and well *** outcomes consistently demonstrated that when factoring in the stress-dep.ndent ap.rture sizes,the leakage rates are 3e5 times comp.red to a fixed ap.rture *** traditional assump.ion of a constant ap.rture significantly underestimates fluid leakage risks.
