Background: liver transplantation is the treatment for end-stage liver diseases and well-selected malignancies. The allograft shortage may be alleviated with liv.ng donation. The initial UClouvain experience of adult liv.ng-donor liver transplantation(lDlT) is presented. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 64 adult-to-adult lDlTs performed at our institution between 1998 and 2016 was conducted. The median age of 29(45.3%) females and 35(54.7%) males was 50.2 years(interquartile range, IQR 32.9–57.5). Twenty-two(34.4%) recipients had no portal hypertension. Three(4.7%) patients had a benign and 33(51.6%) a malignant tumor [19(29.7%) hepatocellular cancer, 11(17.2%) secondary cancer and one(1.6%) each hemangioendothelioma, hepatoblastoma and embryonal liver sarcoma]. Median donor and recipient follow-ups were 93 months(IQR 41–159) and 39 months(22–91), respectively. Results: Right and left hemi-livers were implanted in 39(60.9%) and 25(39.1%) cases, respectively. Median weights of right-and left-liver were 810 g(IQR 730–940) and 454 g(IQR 394–534), respectively. graft-to-recipient weight ratios(gRWRs) were 1.17%(right, IQR 0.98%-1.4%) and 0.77%(left, 0.59%-0.95%). One-and five-year patient survivals were 85% and 71%(right) vs. 84% and 58%(left), respectively. Oneand five-year graft survivals were 74% and 61%(right) vs. 76% and 53%(left), respectively. The patient and graft survival of right and left grafts and of very small( ll(0.6%–0.79%) and large( ≥0.8%) gRWR were similar. Survival of very small grafts was 86% and 86% at 3-and 12-month. no donor died while five(7.8%) developed a Clavien–Dindo complication IIIa, IIIb or iv. Recipient morbidity consisted mainly of biliary and vascular complications; three(4.7%) recipients developed a small-for-size syndrome according to the Kyushu criteria. Conclusions: Adult-to-adult lDlT is a demanding procedure that widens therapeutic possibilities of many hepatobiliary diseases. The donor procedure can be done safely

We analyzed the distributional patterns of95 selected species of leptosporangiate ferns inhabiting the Mexican Mountain Component, using grid-cells of one geographical degree as unit areas,applying endemism indices and richness and beta diversity *** data were obtained from several herbaria and specialized *** grid-cells appear to be important for fern species richness, as they contain 35 to 49 *** gridcells are located in the Sierra Madre Oriental(SMO),Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt(TMVB) and the Sierra Madre del Sur(SMS).Mean richness by latitudinal belts of one degree showed that the belts with highest values are related to the TMVB and SMS.A total of 13grid-cells were recognized as important from theperspective of endemism; most of them are located also in the SMO, TMVB and *** richest gridcells coincided with one of the main centres of endemism for ferns obtained in this study, located in the convergence of the southern part of the SMO, the eastern portion of the TMVB and the northern part of the SMS, reflecting the high humidity existing on the mountain slopes facing the g.lf of *** important grid-cells recognized from richness and endemism analyses coincide with Mexican natural Protected *** beta diversity analysis showed a low degree of similarity among grid-cells, implying a high species replacement, as the result of environmental heterogeneity occurring in the Mexican mountain *** the other hand, the spatial analysis suggested a pattern of phytogeographical regionalization comprising twomain areas: the Mexican Transition Zone and the Mexican Central *** play an important role in the Mexican biodiversity and contributing to the beta diversity of Mexico.

Performance evaluation of lateral canopy shakers with catch frame for continuous harvesting of oranges for juice industry

Citrus is mainly oriented to fresh consumption,and harvesting is usually performed ***,the high cost of harvesting and the low availability of labour can compromise the profitability of the crop when it is destined to juice *** development of citrus mechanical harvesting for industrial processing is conditioned to reach a high fruit removal efficiency,with a reduced damage to both fruit and *** current machines available are very large,requiring extensive plantations with long rows of trees to be *** this study,two lateral canopy shakers equipped with a catch frame were evaluated to harvest independently both sides of the hedge on intensive citrus plantations with the main objective of determining their performance and *** lateral canopy shakers tested were three tractor-drawn machines,one commercial machine and two *** tested machines reached a mean value of 78%of fruit ***,the prototypes,equipped with a catch frame,were able to recover a mean value of 70%of *** the results were promising,for achieving an efficient result,the application of this harvesting technology still requires a process of improvement,and the adaptation of both the machine and the *** machines should reduce the amount of post-harvest ground fruit(5.9%-10.4%).Tree damages generated by the contact of the catch frame with the trunk and the metal rods with main branches were the most ***,it is still necessary to increase the ground speed of the machinery and improving the design of the rods,reg.lating the rod penetrating deep in the canopy to improve the fruit recovery and limit the damage caused to the trees.

当今世界正迈入数字时代,大数据、云计算、"互联网+"等技术和发展理念已渗透到企业创新活动中。高技术企业作为创新主体,其协同创新的推进已经越来越受到企业间数字鸿沟的阻碍。从网络建设、网络环境、网络利用、网络人才4个维度构建了一套测度指标体系,运用问卷调查法获取数据,定量测度了高技术企业间数字鸿沟。在此基础上,采用结构方程模型分析了企业间数字鸿沟对协同创新的影响途径。结果表明,数字鸿沟可以通过管理方式、战略目标、合作投入、团队分工、学习-吸收能力5条途径影响高技术企业间的协同创新。其中最主要的影响途径是管理方式,其次是战略目标,然后才是合作投入、团队分工、学习-吸收能力。

The rapid degradation of Mg alloy was reduced by incorporating titanate on a fluorine-based anodized *** coating shows(i)excellent biomineralization ability,(ii)improved local and periodical corrosion behavior and(iii)enhanced expression of osteogenic factors(Runx2,Col 1,OCn and OPn)along with(iv)the antibacterial *** fluoride and magnesium ions dissolution from the anodized layer is responsible for the better expression of osteogenic factors and antibacterial *** preparation of the titanate incorporated anodized Mg alloy(Ti-AMg)is a facile solution to overcome the implant-associated bacterial infections with required biological functions including progression of bone ingrowth and biocompatibility.
