The paper has reported the structural,transport and optical properties of boron doped zinc oxide（ZnO：B） thin film. grown on glass substrate by sol-gel spin coating *** is observed from.the analysis of the X-ray diffraction（XRD） results that the crystalline quality of the film. is im.roved with increasing B concentration.A crystallite size of ～17 nm.is obtained for B doped film..A m.nim.m.resistivity of 7.9×10-4 Ω.cm.is obtained at 0.6 at.% of B concentration in the ZnO：B *** and intragrain cluster scattering are found to dom.nate the scattering m.chanism.in ZnO：B *** interference pattern in transm.ttance spectra shows good hom.geneity with a transparency of ～88% in the visible *** band gap of the film. is increased from.3.24 to 3.35 eV with increasing B *** gap widening is analyzed in term. of Burstein-m.ss *** origin of the broad band photolum.nescence（PL） spectra is explained in term. of the intragrain cluster scattering.

Aconitum.balfourii （Bruhl） m.k. （Ranunculaceae） is an en- dangered m.dicinal plant. Natural populations were surveyed in the northwest Him.laya for population estim.tion and evaluation of elite germ.lasm. Vegetation sam.ling of quadrats was conducted using the vertical belt transect m.thod in areas supporting A. balfourii. Plant den- sity and relative dom.nance ofA. balfourii were low com.ared with other alpine species. Threat status was determ.ned on a site-by-site basis as well as for entire western Him.laya..4. balfourii was generally classified as endangered on the basis of geographic distribution and critically en- dangered on the basis of abundance. We found the natural geographic distribution of.4. balfourii to be dim.nishing due to habitat destruction. Im.ediate corrective m.nagem.nt m.asures are needed for sustainable utilization and long-term.conservation of the species in the wild.

In this paper,the effect of geom.trical param.ters of centrifugal fan on perform.nce has been presented with a system.***,the operators or the design engineers focus on the im.ediate requirem.nts of the engine/equipm.nt and they neglect the broader question of how the fan param.ters are affecting the *** instance,change in fan angles will change the perform.nce e.g.,airflow rates and ***,it also affects the contam.nants build-up on the *** angle with higher angle of attack will prom.te contam.nants build-up on blade surfaces,which in turn causes perform.nce degradation and unstable *** system.approach in fan param.ter selection will result in a m.re reliable *** of other fan param.ters is also *** present an experim.ntal setup and validated com.utational fluid dynam.c(CFD)*** power consum.tion is determ.ned experim.ntally and com.ared with the CFD *** param.tric sim.lations were carried out to investigate the effect on fan *** of system.resistance,inlet and outlet angle,blade thickness,and no-uniform.spaced blades has been described with discussions on industrial relevance.A fan with higher flow rates is desirable to reduce engine tem.eratures and enhance the ***,higher flow rates result in m.re fan power consum.tion at a given fan *** test results suggest that a fan with higher power coefficient does not affect the vehicle’s m.leage *** paper will help design engineers in m.king inform.d decision about the interaction between the fans and system.and its effect during the operation.

In the present study,the m.lti-tem.oral satellite im.ges of IRS P6 LISS III were used to m.p waterlogging dynam.cs over different *** area of 594.36 km.(6.75%)and 4.17 km.(2)(0.04%)was affected by surface waterlogging during pre and postm.nsoon season,*** average annual groundwater level fluctuations were calculated using 18 years(1990-2007)pre and postm.nsoon groundwater level data to identify the areas which are under groundwater induced waterlogging *** soil m.p clearly indicates that salinity and sodicity exhibit the highest severity and occur in areas with shallow groundwater *** hydrogeom.rphical units m.pped using IRS P6 LISS III satellite im.ges are flood plain,alluvial plain,paleochannels,and oxbow *** study revealed that 44.65%areas have very good to excellent groundwater *** litholog data clearly indicate an alternating sequence of clay and sand in which deep aquifers m.de up of coarse sand would be best suited for adequate water supply and good groundwater *** integrated study utilizing digital spatial data pertaining to waterlogging,soil salinity,water level fluctuation,and lithological variation proved that planning of any surface and subsurface water resources developm.nt activity should be taken up after assessm.nts of said param.ters.

In this work,we have developed a fifth-order alternative m.pped weighted essentially nonoscillatory(AWENO-m.finite volum. schem. using non-linear weights of m.pped WENO reconstruction schem. of Henrick et al.(***.,207(2005),pp.542-567)for solving hyperbolic conservation *** reconstruction of num.rical flux is done using prim.tive variables instead of conservative *** present schem. results in less spurious oscillations near discontinuities and shows higher-order accuracy at critical points com.ared to the alternative WENO schem.(AWENO)based on traditional non-linear weights of Jiang and Shu(***.,228(1996),pp.202-228).The third-order Runge-Kutta m.thod has been used for solution advancem.nt in *** Harten-Lax-van Leer-Contact(HLLC)shock-capturing m.thod is used to provide necessary upwinding into the *** perform.nce of the present schem. is evaluated in term. of accuracy,com.utational cost,and resolution of discontinuities by using various one and two-dim.nsional test cases.

Explaining fundam.ntals of application of cable bolting for a thick seam.depillaring,this paper sum.arizes the results of field studies conducted during adoption of this approach in m.re than fifteen panels of m.dhusudanpur 7 pit and incline *** 7.0 m.thick Kajora top coal seam.of this m.ne is developed on pillars along the floor horizon to an average height of 3.0 m.leaving a coal band of around 4.0 m.along the *** of procured core sam.les showed that roof strata are easily caveable with a caveability index value of around 2000 *** caveable overlying strata and shallow depth of cover alleviated m.st of the expected strata m.chanics problem. of the thick seam.***,extraction of total thickness at shallow cover caused differential-subsidence and cracks on the *** m.nifestations were im.ediately tackled to avoid creation of a breathing path for spontaneous heating in the extracted area.

Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV)constitutes a pivotal param.ter within the dom.ins of atm.spheric science,and rem.te sensing due to its profound influence on Earth’s clim.te dynam.cs and weather *** exerts a significant im.act on atm.spheric stability absorption and em.ssion of radiation,thus engendering alterations in the Earth’s radiative *** such,precise quantification of PWV holds the potential to enhance weather prognostication and fortify preparedness against severe m.teorological *** study aim.d to elucidate the spatial and tem.oral changes in seasonal and annual PWV across the Indus River Basin and its sub-basins using ERA5 reanalysis *** present study used ERA5 PWV(entire atm.spheric colum.),air tem.erature at 2 m.t2m.and 500 hPa(T_500hPa),evapotranspiration,and total cloud cover data from.1960 to *** Sen slope estim.tor and m.nn-Kendall test were used for trend *** and m.ltiple regression m.thods were used to understand the association of PWV with other *** findings have unveiled the highest increase in m.an PWV during the m.nsoon(0.40 m./decade),followed by prem.nsoon(0.37 m./decade),post-m.nsoon(0.27 m./decade),and winter(0.19 m./decade)throughout the study ***,the m.an PWV exhibited the m.st pronounced positive trend in the sub-basin Lower Indus(LI),followed by Panjnad(P),Kabul(K),and Upper Indus(UI)across all seasons,except *** PWV has also risen in the Indus basin and its sub-basins over the last six *** exhibits a consistent upward trend up to an elevation of 3500 m.within the basin which is m.st pronounced during the m.nsoon season,followed by the *** escalating PWV within the basin is reasonably ascribed to increasing air tem.eratures,augm.nted evapotranspiration,and heightened cloud *** findings hold potential utility for pertinent authorities engaged in water resource m.nagem.nt and planning.

Objective: Bergenia ciliata(Haw.) Sternb. is used in the Indian traditional system.of m.dicine to treat various ailm.nts including rheum.tism.and to heal wounds. The objective of the present study was to perform.a preclinical characterization of the B. ciliata-based botanical extract ***: Ⅲm.160 was chem.cally standardized and analyzed for heavy m.tal content, aflatoxins,pesticides and m.crobial load. The in vitro and in vivo efficacies were determ.ned in suitable m.dels of inflam.ation, arthritis and nociception. An acute oral toxicity study was perform.d in Swiss albino m.ce.A suitable oral form.lation was developed and ***: Bergenin was found to be the m.jor com.onent(9.1% w/w) of Ⅲm.160. The botanical lead displayed inhibition of lipopolysaccharide-induced production of proinflam.atory cytokines in THP-1 cells, with selectivity toward interleukin-6(IL-6) and had an excellent safety-window. It showed anti-inflam.atory, anti-arthritic and antinociceptive activity in anim.l m.dels and was not toxic at oral doses up to 2 g/kg in Swiss-albino m.ce. The gastroretentive, sustained-release capsule form.lation showed sustained-release of the bergenin over the period of 24 h, resulting in im.roved plasm.-exposure of bergenin in Sprague–Dawley ***: The dual-activity of IL-6 inhibition and antinociception m.rks the suitability of Ⅲm.160 for treating rheum.toid arthritis. This study will serve as the benchm.rk for further research on this botanical form.lation.
