The last letter of the FAIR acronym stands for *** and metadata should be made available with a clear and accessible usage ***,what are the choices?How can researchers share data and allow reusability?Are all the licenses available for sharing content suitable for data?Data can be covered by different layers of copyright protection making the relationship between data and copyright particularly *** research data can be considered as a work and therefore covered by full copyright while other data can be in the public domain due to their lack of ***,a collection of data can be protected by special rights in Europe to acknowledge the investment in time and money in obtaining,presenting,arranging or verifying the *** need of using a license when sharing data comes from the fact that,under current copyright laws,when rights exist,the absence of any legal notice must be understood as the default“all rights reserved”*** an exception applies,the authorisation of right holders is necessary for *** holders could use any text to state the reusability of data but it is advisable to use some of the existing licenses,and especially the ones that are suitable for data and *** hope that with this paper we can bring some clarity in relation to the rights involved when sharing research data.

Interaction of silver nanoparticles with mediterranean agricultural soils: Lab-controlled adsorption and desorption studies

The production of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) has increased tremendously during recent years due to their antibacterial and physicochemical properties. As a consequence, these particles are released inevitably into the environment, with soil being the main sink of disposal. Soil interactions have an effect on AgNP mobility, transport and bioavailability. To understand AgNP adsorption processes, lab-controlled kinetic studies were *** tests performed with five different Mediterranean agricultural soils showed that cation exchange capacity and electrical conductivity are the main parameters controlling the adsorption processes. The adsorption kinetics of different sized(40, 75, 100 and 200 nm)and coated(citrate, polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyethyleneglycol(PEG)) AgNPs indicated that these nanoparticle properties have also an effect on the adsorption *** assess the mobility and bioavailability of AgNPs and to determine if their form is maintained during adsorption/desorption processes, loaded soils were submitted to leaching tests three weeks after batch adsorption studies. The DIN 38414-S4 extraction method indicated that AgNPs were strongly retained on soils, and single-particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry confirmed that silver particles maintained their nanoform, except for 100 nm PEG-AgNPs and 40 nm citrate-coated AgNPs. The DTPA(diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid) leaching test was more effective in extracting silver,but there was no presence of AgNPs in almost all of these leachates.

Resection of the uncinate process of the pancreas due to a ganglioneuroma

A 33-year-old woman who presented with epigastric discomfort and diarrhea underwent an abdominal ultrasound(US).This investigation and subsequent contrastenhanced computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging and endoscopic US with fine needle aspiration (FNA)revealed a 40 mm well-circumscribed mass in the uncinate process of the *** were suggestive of a mucinous or solid-cystic pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas,although other lesions such as a nonfunctioning neuroendocrine tumor could not be ruled *** samples were negative for malignant cells,but of limited value due to poor *** was decided to surgically remove the tumor because malignancy could not be *** intraoperative biopsies were suggestive of mesenchymal tumor and consequently a conservative resection(uncinatectomy)was performed. Objective Previous studies have shown that meteorological factors may increase COVID-19 mortality,likely due to the increased transmission of the ***,this could also be related to an increased infection fatality rate(IFR).We investigated the association between meteorological factors(temperature,humidity,solar irradiance,pressure,wind,precipitation,cloud coverage)and IFR across Spanish provinces(n=52)during the first wave of the pandemic(weeks 10–16 of 2020).Methods We estimated IFR as excess deaths(the gap between observed and expected deaths,considering COVID-19-unrelated deaths prevented by lockdown measures)divided by the number of infections(SARS-CoV-2 seropositive individuals plus excess deaths)and conducted Spearman correlations between meteorological factors and IFR across the *** We estimated 2,418,250 infections and 43,237 *** IFR was 0.03%in<50-year-old,0.22%in 50–59-year-old,0.9%in 60–69-year-old,3.3%in 70–79-year-old,12.6%in 80–89-year-old,and26.5%in≥*** did not find statistically significant relationships between meteorological factors and adjusted ***,we found strong relationships between low temperature and unadjusted IFR,likely due to Spain’s colder provinces’aging *** The association between meteorological factors and adjusted COVID-19 IFR is *** age differences or ignoring COVID-19-unrelated deaths may severely bias COVID-19 epidemiological analyses.

Surface recombination represents a handicap for high-efficiency solar cells. This is especially important for nanowire array solar cells, where the surface-to-volume ratio is greatly enhanced. Here, the effect of different passivation materials on the effective recombination and on the device performance is experimentally analyzed. Our solar cells are large area top-down axial n-p junction silicon nanowires fabricated by means of Near-Field Phase-Shift Lithography （NF-PSL）. We report an efficiency of 9.9% for the best cell, passivated with a SiO2/SiNx stack. The impact of the presence of a surface fixed charge density at the silicon/oxide interface is studied.

本文报告了采用掺硼金刚石阳极(BDD)电氧化和电芬顿工艺处理真实水体中注入含有少量药物残留物的单组分和多组分溶液(即1 mg.L-1对乙酰氨基酚和(或)1 mg.L-1水杨酸,pH=3)的研究结果.以恒定电流密度方式在BDD/Pt电解池中进行电氧化,而在BDD/空气扩散电解池中进行电芬顿,从而在阴极电生H2O2.结果表明,由于乙酰氨基酚和水杨酸均与溶液中氯离子氧化所产生的活性氯物种发生反应,因此,电氧化处理真实水体中两种药物的降解要比超纯水中添加0.05 mol.L-1Na2SO4快.这种含氯氧化剂的反应活性甚至超过了阳极形成的有限的羟基活性基,提高电流密度大大加速了两种污染物的消除.在真实水体自然碱性pH下得到了类似的结果.当电氧化处理两种药物的混合物时,两种药物上面产生的氧化剂的竞争作用,导致药物的降解变慢,只有电芬顿处理真实水体时药物的降解才稍微加快,这是由于H2O2与Cl-的反应,生成了反应活性弱得多的含氯活性基,从而抑制了电生的H2O2和添加的Fe2+之间发生的芬顿反应所形成的同相羟基活性基的累积.对于添加了药物的真实水体,在较高的电流密度下电氧化可得到较好的天然有机物成分(NOM)矿化度,且添加0.05 mol.L-1Na2SO4效果会更好.虽然在药物溶液的电氧化中检测出微量的氧化副产物,如对苯醌、NO3-和NH4+离子,但在本研究条件下无法去除真实水体中所含有的氮基化合物.

Meteorological and Climate Modelling Services Tailored to Viticulturists

Grape production is likewise inherently interconnected to climate and weather, and, although grapes may grow worldwide, premium wine-grape production occurs in Mediterranean-like climate ranges. Changes in climate and weather patterns are threatening premium wine-grapes, directly affecting the European wine industry. This is because grapevines are extremely sensitive to their surrounding environment, with seasonal variations in yield much higher than other common crops, such as cereals. With a view to making South European wine industry resilient to climate change, VISCA (Vineyards Integrated Smart Climate Application) project has deployed a Climate Service (CS) Decision Support System (DSS) tool that provides to wine producers with well-founded information to be able to apply correctly adaptation strategies on specific grape varieties and locations, and to achieve optimum production results (e.g., yield and quantity). In this paper we show the meteorological, seasonal and climatic models and data sets used to answer the viticulturist needs;from short-term and mid-term forecast to seasonal forecast and climate projections.
