The problem of simultaneous scheduling of machines and vehicles in flexible manufacturing system (FMS) was addressed.A spreadsheet based genetic algorithm (GA) approach was presented to solve the problem.A domain independent general purpose GA was used,which was an add-in to the spreadsheet *** adaptation of the propritary GA software was demonstrated to the problem of minimizing the total completion time or makespan for simultaneous scheduling of machines and vehicles in flexible manufacturing *** results are presented for a benchmark with 82 test problems,which have been constructed by other *** achieved results are comparable to the previous *** proposed approach can be also applied to other problems or objective functions without changing the GA routine or the spreadsheet model.

A model has been developed to study the effect of depletion and energy quantization at the poly-silicon /oxide interface on the behavior of a nanometer scale n-MOSFET.A model of inversion charge density,including the inversion layer quantization using the variation approach in the substrate,has also been *** the exact calculations of the polygate potential under the depletion and quantization conditions,a C-V model has been developed. AiM: To investigate the effectiveness of combinationtherapy with transzonular triamcinolone-moxifloxacin andconventional perioperative drops in reducing postoperativecomplications of cataract surgery. METHODS: Electronic medical records of cataractsurgery patients (single surgeon) were reviewed fromJanuary 2018 to September 2021. The rate of postoperativecomplications including prolonged and/or recurrentpostoperative inflammation, endophthalmitis, cystoid macularedema (CME), and intraocular pressure (iOP) was comparedbetween the patients receiving combinative therapy andpatients receiving drops only. RESULTS: Totally 596 patients and 1057 eyes(Combinative-Therapy group 493 and Drop-Only group 564)were included in this study. Using combination therapyreduced the relative risk of postoperative inflammationby 26.9% (16.6% Combinative-Therapy vs 22.7% Drop-Only, P=0.013). The incidence of endophthalmitis was 0in Combinative-Therapy group vs 0.5% in Drop-Only group(relative risk reduction 100%), although not statisticallysignificant (P=0.10). The incidence of severe iOP spikeswas not significantly different between Combinative-Therapy (2.4%) and Drop-Only (1.6%) groups (P=0.33).The relative risk of postoperative CME was 51.4% less inthree months follow up visit in Combinative-Therapy group,although not statistically significant (P=0.07). The visualoutcome 1-month postop. (best corrected visual acuity) wassignificantly better in Combinative-Therapy (logMAR 0.10)compared to Drop-Only (logMAR 0.14) groups (P=0.02) whilethe baseline visual acuity was not significantly different. CONCLUSiON: The combinative approach oftranszonular triamcinolone-moxifloxacin plus perioperativeeyedrops is an effective method to minimize postoperativeinflammation, with better visual outcomes. it couldpotentially reduce the risk of postoperative endophthalmitisand CME (near-significant P-values;larger studies couldanalyze better considering low incidence).

A resolving set of minimum cardinality is called a metric basis for G and the number of vertices in a metric basis is called the metric dimension of G, denoted by dim（G）. For a vertex u of G and a subset S of V（G）, the distance between u and S is the number minses d（u,s）. A k-partition ii = {$1,$2,..., Sk} of V（G） is called a resolving partition if for every two distinct vertices u, v E V（G） there is a set Si in H such that d（u, Si） ≠ d（v, Si）. The minimum k for which there is a resolving k-partition of V（G） is called the partition dimension of G, denoted by pd（G）. The circulant graph is a graph with vertex set Zn, an additive group of integers modulo n, and two vertices labeled i and j adjacent if and only if i - j （rood n） E C, where C C Zn has the property that C = -C and 0 ￠ C. The circulant graph is denoted by Xn,△ where A = ｜C｜. in this paper, we study the metric dimension of a family of circulant graphs Xn,3 with connection set C = {1, 3, n - 1} and prove that dim（Xn,3） is independent of choice of n by showing that dim（Xn,a） = {3 for all n ≡0 （mod 4）,4 for all n≡2 （mod4）.We also study the partition dimension of a family of circulant graphs Xm,4 with connection set C = {±1, ±2} and prove that pd（Xn,4） is independent of choice of n and show that pd（X5,4） = 5 and pd（Xn,a） ={ 3 for all odd n≥9,4 for all even n≥6 and n=7.

We present a general formulation based on punctual kriging and fuzzy concepts for image restoration in spatial domain. Gray-level images degraded with Gaussian white noise have been considered. Based on the pixel local neighborhood, fuzzy logic has been employed intelligently to avoid unnecessary estimation of a pixel. The intensity estimation of the selected pixels is then carried out by employing punctual kriging in conjunction with the method of Lagrange multipliers and estimates of local semi-variances. Application of such a hybrid technique performing both selection and intensity estimation of a pixel demonstrates substantial improvement in the image quality as compared to the adaptive Wiener filter and existing fuzzykriging approaches. it has been found that these filters achieve noise reduction without loss of structural detail information, as indicated by their higher structure similarity indices, peak signal to noise ratios and the new variogram based quality measures.

Data privacy laws require service providers to inform their customers on how user data is gathered,used,protected,and *** General Data ProtectionRegulation(GDPR)is a legal framework that provides guidelines for collecting and processing personal information from *** providers use privacy policies to outline the ways an organization captures,retains,analyzes,and shares customers’data with other *** policies are complex and written using legal jargon;therefore,users rarely read them before accepting *** exist a number of approaches to automating the task of summarizing privacy policies and assigning risk *** of the existing approaches are not GDPR compliant and use manual annotation/labeling of the privacy text to assign risk level,which is time-consuming and *** present a framework that helps users see not only data practice policy compliance with GDPR but also the risk levels to privacy associated with accepting that *** main contribution of our approach is eliminating the overhead cost of manual annotation by using the most frequent words in each category to create word-bags,which are used with Regular Expressions and Pointwise Mutual information scores to assign risk levels that comply with the GDPR guidelines for data *** have also developed a web-based application to graphically display risk level reports for any given online privacy *** show that our approach is not only consistent with GDPR but performs better than existing approaches by successfully assigning risk levels with 95.1%accuracy after assigning data practice categories with an accuracy rate of 79%.

An attempt has been made to give a detailed review of strained silicon technology. Various device models have been studied that consider the effect of strain on the devices, and comparisons have been drawn. A review of some modeling issues in strained silicon technology has also been outlined. The review indicates that this technology is very much required in nanoscale MOSFETs due to its several potential benefits, and there is a strong need for an analytical model which describes the complete physics of the strain technology.
