The spatial distributions of ^(239+240)Pu and ^(137)Cs in soils from Longji Rice Terraces were investigated to evaluate soil *** activity concentrations of ^(239+240)Pu and ^(137)Cs in the surface soils of the paddy fields were in the range of 0.089–0.734 and1.80–7.88 mBq/g,*** activities of ^(239+240)Pu and ^(137)Cs showed very similar distribution trends,first increasing and then decreasing with increasing *** 240Pu/239Pu atom ratios in the surface soils ranged from 0.162 to *** activities of ^(239+240)Pu and ^(137)Cs in the soil cores tended to be uniformly distributed within the plowed layer and declined exponentially below this *** mean soil erosion rates of Longji Rice Terraces estimated by ^(239+240)Pu and ^(137)Cs tracer methods were 5.44 t/(ha·a)and 5.16 t/(ha·a),respectively,which demonstrated that plutonium can replace ^(137)Cs as an ideal tracer for soil erosion research in the *** features are the main factors affecting the distribution of plutonium and ^(137)Cs as well as soil erosion in the Longji Rice Terraces.

Observed prevalence and risk factors of birth defects in Shanghai, China

AIM To investigate the prevalence and related risk factors of birth defects in Shanghai. METHODS This report describes a population-based study of all births at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University in Shanghai, China from January 2008 to December 2014. A logistic regression analysis was used to identify the parameters that are independently associated with birth defects. RESULTS A total of 82814 births, including 824 cases of birth defects, were recorded. The rate of birth defects was 0.995 per 100 births. In the multivariable regression analysis, neonatal birth defects were likely to be associated with higher gravidity [odds ratio(OR), 1.099, 95%CI: 1.024-1.178], premature birth(OR = 1.905, 95%CI: 1.501-2.418), low birth weight(OR = 3.844, 95%CI: 3.004-4.919), twin births or higher order multiple pregnancies(OR = 1.477, 95%CI: 1.107-1.969), cesarean delivery(OR = 1.184, 95%CI: 1.016-1.380) and registration as part of a migrant population(OR = 1.380, 95%CI: 1.167-1.632). Female infants were less likely to have birth defects than male infants(OR = 0.710, 95%CI: 0.616-0.818). CONCLUSION Higher gravidity, premature birth, lower birth weight,twin births or higher order multiple pregnancies, and registration as part of a migrant population are independent predictors of birth defects.

冠醚作为第一代大环主体分子,具有柔性的空腔,因其对金属离子、有机阳离子的络合作用而被广泛用于构筑超分子组装体。磺化冠醚是一种水溶性良好的阴离子型冠醚衍生物,相比于冠醚,它具有更多的键合位点,对金属离子、有机阳离子具有更强的键合和良好的选择性。本文从磺化冠醚的合成,对碱金属离子、镧系金属的络合,对有机阳离子客体的组装等方面介绍了磺化冠醚的研究进展。然后从热力学、晶体结构学的角度综合分析了磺化冠醚键合与组装的模式及驱动力。最后讨论了磺化冠醚的分子键合与组装发展所面临的挑战,并对其应用前景进行了展望。

The Coude Echelle Spectrograph(CES)was originally mounted on Xinglong 2.16 m telescope in *** the High Resolution Fiber-fed Spectrograph(HRS)was commissioned at Xinglong 2.16 m telescope,the red path of CES was moved to Lijiang 1.8 m telescope,following some redesign and *** CES of Lijiang 1.8 m telescope has the spectral resolution(R=λ/?λ)ranging from 20000 to 50000 corresponding to different slit *** a 2 k×2 k PI CCD,CES has a wavelength coverage between 570 nm to 1030 *** particular,the resolution of 37000 at 0.5 mm slit corresponds to 1.3′′on the *** limiting magnitude is V=11.5 with the use of the tip-tilt feedback system,and the S/N is about 40 for 1 hour exposure at 600 nm(R=37000).During the installation of CES,the tip-tilt mirror technology had successfully fulfilled high precision guiding and tracking for high resolution spectral observation and significantly improved the observation efficiency.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours are uncommon neoplasms of the pancreas, accounting for around 2% of all primary pancreatic tumors. This specific group of tumours includes insulinoma, gastrinoma, glucagonoma, VIPoma, somatostatinoma and others. They may cause a clinical syndrome due to hormone overproduction. These tumours tend to be less aggressive than pancreatic adenocarcinoma, however, more than 50% of them have metastasized to the liver at the time of diagnosis. Under this circumstance, surgery is impossible to resect all metastases. Thus other various medical measures have been explored in the treatment of these tumors.

Suppressing the formation of SRZ in a Ni-based single crystal superalloy by RuNiAl diffusion barrier

NiAl-based bond coats applied in thermal barrier coating(TBC)systems containing Ru and Pt have been studied in recent *** between the coatings and the underlying superalloy substrates usually results in degradation of the mechanical properties of the *** this paper,a NiAl/Ru coating was deposited onto a single crystal superalloy DD6 by electroplating and electron beam physical vapor deposition(EB-PVD).Interdiffusion behavior of the NiAl/Ru and NiAl coated specimens at 1100 1C was comparatively *** the NiAl coated specimen,after 100 h vacuum annealing,beneath the coating there was a 50 mm thickness secondary reaction zone(SRZ)with some needle-like topologically closed packed(TCP) *** no SRZ was observed in the NiAl/Ru coated *** may be attributed to the RuNiAl that acted as a diffusion barrier to prevent the inward diffusion of Al from the coating and the outward diffusion of refractory elements from the substrate,and hence suppressing the formation of TCP phases and SRZ in the superalloy.

We report the confirmation of a sub-Saturn-size exoplanet,TOI-1194 b,with a mass of about 0.456+0.055-0.051M_(J),and a very low mass companion star with a mass of about 96.5±1.5 MJ,TOI-1251 *** candidates provided by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS)are suitable for further follow-up observations by ground-based telescopes with small and medium *** analysis is performed based on data from several telescopes worldwide,including telescopes in the Sino-German multiband photometric campaign,which aimed at confirming TESS Objects of Interest(TOIs)using ground-based small-aperture and medium-aperture telescopes,especially for long-period ***-1194 b is confirmed based on the consistent periodic transit depths from the multiband photometric *** measure an orbital period of 2.310644±0.000001 days,the radius is 0.767+0.045-0.041RJ and the amplitude of the RV curve is 69.4_(-7.3)^(+7.9)m s^(-1).TOI-1251 B is confirmed based on the multiband photometric and high-resolution spectroscopic data,whose orbital period is 5.963054+0.000002-0.000001days,radius is 0.947+0.035-0.033 R_(J) and amplitude of the RV curve is 9849_(-40)^(+42)ms^(-1).

AIM: To Study the interaction of macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) in productions of IL-12 and IL-18 and expressions of CD14, CD23, and CD64 by human monocytes. METHODS: Purified adherent human monocytes were cultured with M-CSF or IL-10 alone, or with M-CSF+IL-10 and 2-3d later, the culture supernatants and cells were separated and collected. IL-12P40 and IL-18 levels in the superna-tants were determined by ELISA and the percentages of CD14, CD23, and CD64 positive cells were examined by flow cytometry. RESULTS: (1) IL-10 decreased M-CSF-induced IL-18 levels, while M-CSF further reduced IL-12P40 level in the culture supernatants of IL-10-treated monocytes; (2) IL-10 alone had no effect on the percentage of CD14-positive cells, but further increased the percentage of CD14-positive cells induced by M-CSF; M-CSF alone had no effect on the percentage of CD64-positive cells, but further increased the percentage of CD64-positive cells induced by IL-10; (3) IL-10 decreased

Rational modulation of fluorophosphate cathode by anionic groups to reduce the polarization behavior for fast-charging sodium-ion batteries

Na3V2（PO4）2O2F （VP） is recognized as a promising cathode material for sodium-ion batteries due to its stable structural framework and high specific *** functional theory （DFT） and finite element simulations show that incorporating SO42-into VP decreases its band gap,lowers the migration energy barrier,and ensures a uniform Na+concentration gradient and stress distribution during charge and discharge ***,the average Na+diffusion coefficient of Na3V2（PO4）1.95（SO4）0.05O2F（VPS-1） is roughly double that of VP,leading to enhanced rate capability (80 C,75.5 mAh g-1) and cycling stability (111.0 mAh g-1capacity after 1000 cycles at 10 C current density) for ***-1 exhibits outstanding fast-charging capabilities,achieving an 80%state of charge in just 8.1 *** assembled VPS-1//SbSn/NPC full cell demonstrated stable cycling over 200 cycles at a high 5 C current,maintaining an average coulombic efficiency of 95.35%.

Unraveling the significance of cobalt on transformation kinetics,crystallography and impact toughness in high-strength steels

This work reveals the significant effects of cobalt(Co)on the microstructure and impact toughness of as-quenched highstrength steels by experimental characterizations and thermo-kinetic *** results show that the Co-bearing steel exhibits finer blocks and a lower ductile-brittle transition temperature than the steel without ***,the Co-bearing steel reveals higher transformation rates at the intermediate stage with bainite volume fraction ranging from around 0.1 to *** improved impact toughness of the Co-bearing steel results from the higher dense block boundaries dominated by the V1/V2 variant ***,the addition of Co induces a larger transformation driving force and a lower bainite start temperature(BS),thereby contributing to the refinement of blocks and the increase of the V1/V2 variant *** findings would be instructive for the composition,microstructure design,and property optimization of high-strength steels.
