Copper is a microelement with important physiological functions in the ***,the excess copper ion(Cu^(2+))may cause severe health problems,such as hair cell apoptosis and the resultant hearing ***,the assay of Cu^(2+)is *** integrate ionic imprinting technology(IIT)and structurally colored hydrogel beads to prepare chitosan-based ionically imprinted hydrogel beads(IIHBs)as a low-cost and high-specificity platform for Cu^(2+)*** IIHBs have a macroporous microstructure,uniform size,vivid structural color,and magnetic *** incubated in solution,IIHBs recognize Cu^(2+)and exhibit a reflective peak change,thereby achieving label-free *** addition,benefiting from the IIT,the IIHBs display good specificity and selectivity and have an imprinting factor of 19.14 at 100μmol·L^(-1).These features indicated that the developed IIHBs are promising candidates for Cu^(2+)detection,particularly for the prevention of hearing loss.

Reactive molecular dynamics insight into the thermal decomposition mechanism of 2,6-Bis(picrylamino)-3,5-dinitropyridine

2,6-bis(picrylamino)-3,5-dinitropyridine(PYX)has excellent thermostability,which makes its thermal decomposition mechanism receive much *** this paper,the mechanism of PYX thermal decomposition was investigated thoroughly by the ReaxFF-lg force field combined with DFT-B3LYP(6-311++G)*** detailed decomposition mechanism,small-molecule product evolution,and cluster evolution of PYX were mainly *** the initial stage of decomposition,the intramolecular hydrogen transfer reaction and the formation of dimerized clusters are earlier than the denitration *** the progress of the reaction,one side of the bitter amino group is removed from the pyridine ring,and then the pyridine ring is *** final products produced in the thermal decomposition process are CO_(2),H_(2)O,N_(2),and H_(2).Among them,H_(2)O has the earliest generation time,and the reaction rate constant(k_(3))is the *** clusters are formed during the decomposition of PYX,and the formation,aggregation,and decomposition of these clusters are strongly affected by *** low temperatures(2500 K-2750 K),many clusters are *** high temperatures(2750 K-3250 K),the clusters aggregate to form larger *** 3500 K,the large clusters decompose and become *** the late stage of the reaction,H and N in the clusters escaped almost entirely,but more O was trapped in the clusters,which affected the auto-oxidation process of ***'s initial decomposition activation energy(E_(a))was calculated to be 126.58 kJ/*** work contributes to a theoretical understanding of PYX's entire thermal decomposition process.

Ionogels have garnered great attention as promising soft conducting materials for the fabrication of flexible energy storage devices,soft actuators,and ***,the leakage of the ionic liquids,weak mechanical strength,and poor manufacturability have greatly limited their reliability and ***,we propose a new ionogel synthesis strategy by utilizing granular zwitterionic microparticles to stabilize ionic *** ionic liquids swell the microparticles and physically crosslink microparticles via either electronic interaction or hydrogen *** introducing a photocurable acrylic monomer enables the fabrication of double-network(DN)ionogels with high stretchability(>600%)and ultrahigh toughness(fracture energy>10 kJ/m^(2)).The synthesized ionogels exhibit a wide working temperature of−60 to 90℃.By tuning the crosslinking density of microparticles and physical crosslinking strength of ionogels,we synthesize DN ionogel inks and print them into three-dimensional(3D)*** ionogelbased ionotronics are 3D printed as demonstrations,including strain gauges,humidity sensors,and ionic skins made of capacitive touch sensor *** covalently linking ionogels with silicone elastomers,we integrate the ionogel sensors onto pneumatic soft actuators and demonstrate their capacities in sensing large *** our last demonstration,multimaterial direct ink writing is harnessed to fabricate highly stretchable and durable alternating-current electroluminescent devices with arbitrary *** printable granular ionogel ink represents a versatile platform for the future manufacturing of ionotronics.

Defect engineering can give birth to novel properties for adsorption and photocatalysis in the control of antibiotics and heavy metal combined pollution with photocatalytic ***,the role of defects and the process mechanism are complicated and ***,TiO2/CN/3DC was fabricated and defects were introduced into the tripartite structure with separate O2plasma treatment for the single *** find that defect engineering can improve the photocatalytic activity,attributing to the increase of the contribution from h+and *** contrast to TiO2/CN/3DC with a photocatalytic tetracycline removal rate of 75.2%,the removal rate of TC with D-TiO2/CN/3DC has increased to 88.5%.Moreover,the reactive sites of tetracycline can be increased by adsorbing on the defective *** defect construction on TiO2shows the advantages in tetracycline degradation and Cu2+adsorption,but also suffers significant inhibition for the tetracycline degradation in a tetracycline/Cu2+combined *** contrast,the defect construction on graphene can achieve the cooperative removal of tetracycline and Cu2+.These findings can provide new insights into water treatment strategies with defect engineering.

The absence of efficient and durable catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER） is the main obstacle to hydrogen production through water splitting in an acidic ele ***,we report a controllable synthesis method of surface IrOxwith changing Au/Ir compositions by constructing a range of sub-10-nm-sized core-shell nanocatalysts composed of an Au core and AuxIr1-xalloy *** particular,Au@Au0.43Ir0.57exhibits 4.5 times higher intrinsic OER activity than that of the commercial Ir/*** X-ray-based spectroscopies,electron microscopy and density functional theory calculations revealed a balanced binding of reaction intermediates with enhanced *** water-splitting cell using a load of 0.02 mgIr/cm2of Au@Au0.43Ir0.57as both anode and cathode can reach 10 mA/cm2at 1.52 V and maintain activity for at least194 h,which is better than the cell using the commercial couple Ir/C‖Pt/C（1.63 V,0.2 h）.

AP assembled on ultrafine aluminum particle and its application to NEPE propellant

Coating modification is an important way to enhance the reactivity of aluminum *** this paper,ammonium perchlorate and aluminum powder were assembled into energetic microunits by liquid deposition *** particles with AP as shell and ultrafine aluminum powder as the core(Al@AP)were *** micromorphology results show that the coated particles are about 5μm,and the coating layer is evenly distributed on the outer surface of aluminum powder,indicating a complete *** energetic microunits were implanted into the nitrate ester plasticizing adhesive system(NEPE)as solid phase *** effect of filler on the rheological properties,safety,mechanical properties,thermal reaction and energy properties of the system was analyzed by comparing with the raw aluminum *** test results show that the rheological properties,mechanical properties and pressure index of NEPE containing system Al@AP meets the requirements of solid propellant *** with Al based propellant,the mechanical sensitivity and thermal sensitivity are decreased,the safety is better,and the explosion heat of the propellant is increased by 7.8%.The engine test shows that the specific impulse is increased by 1.2 ***@AP can improve the energy output and safety of NEPE propellant,and has potential application prospects in high-energy propellants.

Noninvasive Diagnostic Technique for Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Based on Features of Tongue Images

Objective:To investigate a new noninvasive diagnostic model for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) based on features of tongue ***:Healthy controls and volunteers confirmed to have NAFLD by liver ultrasound were recruited from China-Japan Friendship Hospital between September 2018 and May 2019,then the anthropometric indexes and sampled tongue images were *** tongue images were labeled by features,based on a brief protocol,without knowing any other clinical data,after a series of corrections and data *** algorithm was trained on images using labels and several anthropometric indexes for inputs,utilizing machine learning ***,a logistic regression algorithm and a decision tree model were constructed as 2 diagnostic models for ***:A total of 720 subjects were enrolled in this study,including 432 patients with NAFLD and 288 healthy *** them,482 were randomly allocated into the training set and 238 into the validation *** diagnostic model based on logistic regression exhibited excellent performance:in validation set,it achieved an accuracy of 86.98%,sensitivity of 91.43%,and specificity of 80.61%;with an area under the curve(AUC) of 0.93 [95% confidence interval(CI) 0.68–0.98].The decision tree model achieved an accuracy of 81.09%,sensitivity of 91.43%,and specificity of 66.33%;with an AUC of 0.89(95% CI 0.66–0.92) in validation ***:The features of tongue images were associated with *** the 2 diagnostic models,which would be convenient,noninvasive,lightweight,rapid,and inexpensive technical references for early screening,can accurately distinguish NAFLD and are worth further study.

Hypomethylation of glycine dehydrogenase promoter in peripheral blood mononuclear cells is a new diagnostic marker of hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocellular carcinoma

Background: Glycine dehydrogenase(GLDC) plays an important role in the initiation and proliferation of several human cancers. In this study, we aimed to detect the methylation status of GLDC promoter and its diagnostic value for hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocellular carcinoma(HBV-HCC). Methods: We enrolled 197 patients, 111 with HBV-HCC, 51 with chronic hepatitis B(CHB), and 35 healthy controls(HCs). The methylation status of GLDC promoter in peripheral mononuclear cells(PBMCs) was identified by methylation specific polymerase chain reaction(MSP). The mRNA expression was examined using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q PCR). Results: The methylation frequency of the GLDC promoter was significantly lower in HBV-HCC patients(27.0%) compared to that in CHB patients(68.6%) and HCs(74.3%)( P < 0.001). The methylated group had lower alanine aminotransferase level( P = 0.035) and lower rates of tumor node metastasis(TNM) Ⅲ/Ⅳ( P = 0.043) and T3/T4( P = 0.026). TNM stage was identified to be an independent factor for GLDC promoter methylation. GLDC mRNA levels in CHB patients and HCs were significantly lower than those in HBV-HCC patients( P = 0.022 and P < 0.001, respectively). GLDC mRNA levels were significantly higher in HBV-HCC patients with unmethylated GLDC promoters than those with methylated GLDC promoters( P = 0.003). The diagnostic accuracy of alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) combined with GLDC promoter methylation for HBV-HCC was improved compared with that of AFP alone(AUC: 0.782 vs. 0.630, P < 0.001). In addition, GLDC promoter methylation was an independent predictor for overall survival of HBV-HCC patients( P = 0.038). Conclusions: The methylation frequency of GLDC promoter was lower in PBMCs from HBV-HCC patients than that from patients with CHB and HCs. The combination of AFP and GLDC promoter hypomethylation significantly improved the diagnostic accuracy of HBV-HCC.

Efficacy of Raw Corn Starch in Insulinoma-Related Hypoglycemia:A Promising Supportive Therapy

Objective To investigate the efficacy of raw corn starch(RCS)in clinical management of insulinoma-induced *** We retrospectively collected clinical data of insulinoma patients who received RCS-supplemented diet preoperatively,and analyzed the therapeutic effects of the RCS intervention on blood glucose control,weight change,and its adverse *** The study population consisted of 24 cases of insulinoma patients,7 males and 17 females,aged 46.08±14.15 *** RCS-supplemented diet,all patients had frequent hypoglycemic episodes(2.51±3.88 times/week),concurrent with neuroglycopenia(in 83.3% of patients)and autonomic manifestations(in 75.0% of patients),with the median fasting blood glucose(FBG)of 2.70(interquartile range[IQR]:2.50-2.90)mmol/*** patients'weight increased by 0.38(IQR:0.05-0.65)kg per month,with 8(33.3%)cases developing overweight and 7(29.2%)cases developing *** patients maintained the RCS-supplemented diet until they underwent tumor resection(23 cases)and transarterial chemoembolization for liver metastases(1 case).For 19 patients receiving RCS throughout the day,the median FBG within one week of nutritional management was 4.30(IQR:3.30-5.70)mmol/L,which was a significant increase compared to pre-nutritional level[2.25(IQR:1.60-2.90)mmol/L;P<0.001].Of them,10 patients receiving RCS throughout the day for over four weeks had sustained improvement in FBG compared to pre-treatment[3.20(IQR:2.60-3.95)mmol/L vs.2.15(IQR:1.83-2.33)mmol/L;P<0.001].Five patients who received RCS only at night also had a significant increase in FBG within one week of nutritional management[3.50(IQR:2.50-3.65)mmol/L vs.2.20(IQR:1.80-2.60)mmol/L;P<0.001],but only one patient who continued to receive RCS for over four weeks did not have a significant improvement in *** improvement in weight gain was observed upon RCS *** diarrhea(2 cases)and flatulence(1 case)occurred,and were relieved by reduction of RCS ***
