Structural alterations in fibroelastic compone nts of the penile corpus caver no usum(CC)may impair its compliance,resulting in venous leakage and erectile dysfunction(ED).Our study evaluated the effectiveness of noninvasive two-dimensional shear-wave elastography(2-D SWE)in quantifying penile CC lesions in rabbits with hyperlipidemia-induced ED.A total of 12 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into two *** were fed a high-cholesterol diet containing 2%cholesterol and 8.5%lard for 10 weeks and the other six were fed normal diet as *** measured the shear-wave elastic quantitative(SWQ)value of penile CC by 2-D *** function was inv estigated by intracavernous injecti on of pa pa ver i ne,and immunohistochemical(IHC)stain inga nd the wester n blot analysis to determine the penile CC *** 10 weeks,the SWQ values obtained from penile CC were remarkably higher in the high-cholesterol-fed compared with the control group,and the AICP(ICP plateau minus ICP baseline)/MAP(ICP:intracavernous pressure,MAP:mean arterial pressure)was markedly *** IHC staining and western blot revealed extracellular matrix(ECM)accumulation in penile cavernous tissues,and the smooth muscle cell(SMC)phenotypic transition was affected,as indicated by reduced alpha-smooth muscle actin and calponinexpression and increased phospho-myosin light chain?。(p-MLC20)/MLC20 and osteopontin *** resulted in ECM accumulation accompanied with SMC phenotypic transition in penile CC and impaired the erectile function *** might,in turn,lead to variations in the SWQ *** suggests that 2-D SWE may be a novel,noninvasive and effective approach that distinguishes penile CC lesions secondary to hyperlipidemia from normal.

With the revival of magnetorheological technology research in the 1980’s, its application in vehicles is in- creasingly focused on vibration suppression. Based on the importance of magnetorheological damper modeling, non- parametric modeling with neural network, which is a promising development in semi-active online control of vehicles with MR suspension, has been carried out in this study. A two layer neural network with 7 neurons in a hidden layer and 3 inputs and 1 output was established to simulate the behavior of MR damper at different excitation currents. In the neural network modeling, the damping force is a function of displacement, velocity and the applied current. A MR damper for vehicles is fabricated and tested by MTS; the data acquired are utilized for neural network training and vali- dation. The application and validation show that the predicted forces of the neural network match well with the forces tested with a small variance, which demonstrates the effectiveness and precision of neural network modeling.

Background Laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy is gaining acceptance for treating early gastric cancer. However, few reports concerning the effectiveness of laparoscopy-assisted D2 radical distal gastrectomy （LADG） for advanced gastric cancer or data comparing the results obtained after open distal gastrectomy （ODG） are yet available. The aim of this study was to evaluate the method, feasibility and clinical result of LADG for advanced gastric cancer. Methods A retrospective study was performed comparing LADG and ODG for advanced gastric cancer. Seventy-eight patients who underwent LADG were compared with 90 patients who underwent ODG in terms of pathologic findings, operative outcome, and complications. Results There was no conversion to open surgery in the LADG group and no postoperative mortality of any patients. There were no significant differences between LADG and ODG in operative time （（245±35） vs （220±620） minutes）, complication rate （7.7% vs 10.0%）, and number of lymph nodes （23.5±6.0 vs 21.0±7.5）, while the blood loss was less after LADG （（110±25） vs （196±30） ml, P 〈0.05）. The time to postoperative flatus and postoperative hospital stay were shorter after LADG （（73.0±8.5） vs （102.0±10.5） hours, and （8.6±1.2） vs （12.1 ±2.5） days, P 〈0.05, respectively）. Conclusion LADG for advanced gastric cancer is feasible, safe, and minimally invasive.

Patients with congenital unilateral absence of the vas deferens(CUAVD)manifest diverse symptoms from normospermia to *** for CUAVD patients with obstructive azoospermia(OA)is complicated,and there is a lack of relevant *** this study,we describe the clinical features and evaluate the treatments and outcomes of CUAVD patients with *** December 2015 to December 2020,33 patients were diagnosed as CUAVD with OA in Shanghai General Hospital(Shanghai,China).Patient information,ultrasound findings,semen analysis,hormone profiles,and treatment information were collected,and the clinical outcomes were *** 33 patients,29 patients were retrospectively ***(VE)or cross VE was performed in 12 patients,the patency rate was 41.7%(5/12),and natural pregnancy was achieved in one of the *** other 17 patients underwent testicular sperm extraction as the distal vas deferens(contralateral side)was *** findings showed that VE or cross VE remains an alternative treatment for CUAVD patients with OA,even with a relatively low rate of patency and natural pregnancy.

RNA modification is an essential component of the epitranscriptome, regulating RNA metabolism and cellular functions. Several types of RNA modifications have been identified to date; they include N-6-methyladenosine (m(6)A), N-1-methyladenosine (m(1)A), 5-methylcytosine (m(5)C), N-7-methylguanosine (m(7)G), N-6,2 '-O-dimethyladenosine (m(6)A(m)), N-4-acetylcytidine (ac(4)C), etc. RNA modifications, mediated by regulators including writers, erasers, and readers, are associated with carcinogenesis, tumor microenvironment, metabolic reprogramming, immunosuppression, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, etc. A novel perspective indicates that regulatory subunits and post-translational modifications (PTMs) are involved in the regulation of writer, eraser, and reader functions in mediating RNA modifications, tumorigenesis, and anticancer therapy. In this review, we summarize the advances made in the knowledge of different RNA modifications (especially m(6)A) and focus on RNA modification regulators with functions modulated by a series of factors in cancer, including regulatory subunits (proteins, noncoding RNA or peptides encoded by long noncoding RNA) and PTMs (acetylation, SUMOylation, lactylation, phosphorylation, etc.). We also delineate the relationship between RNA modification regulator functions and carcinogenesis or cancer progression. Additionally, inhibitors that target RNA modification regulators for anticancer therapy and their synergistic effect combined with immunotherapy or chemotherapy are discussed.

The Shenxianshui granites in the western Gejiu area were formed in the Late *** ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry indicates zircon U-Pb ages ranging from 90.67±0.7 to 85.97±0.6 *** intrusive rocks are peraluminous(A/CNK=1.03 to 1.33)and calc-alkaline,showing an affinity towards I-type *** ion lithophilic elements are enriched in K and Rb,while high field strength elements are ***,light rare earth elements are significantly enriched,showing a slight negative Eu anomaly(Eu/Eu^(*)=0.39 to 0.58).Shenxianshui granite has a relatively high initial Sr isotope ratio(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i)(0.7098-0.7105),negative ε_(Nd)(t)values(−7.99 to−7.44)and negative ε_(Hf)(t)values(−8.37 to−2.58).Combined with previous studies,these characteristics suggest that the Shenxianshui alkaline granites were formed in a post-collision extensional *** alkaline granitic magma possibly originated from the partial melting of the lower crust during the Mesoproterozoic era and may have contained mantle source *** alkaline granite was formed from mixed magma with a high degree of crystal *** abundance of ore-forming elements indicates that Shenxianshui granite has the potential to mineralize key metals and rare earth elements.
