The electrocatalytic CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） presents a promising approach to achieving carbon neutrality. Currently,anion exchange membranes（AEMs） are widely used in CO2RR electrolyzers. However, the widespread industrial application of CO2RR electrolyzers faces significant challenges due to the poor alkali resistance, high mass transfer resistance, limited electrode surface area, and high costs associated with conventional AEMs. This paper describes the amplification and stable operation of a horizontal electrolyzer achieved via combining a diaphragm, a double-layer cathode catalyst, and a redesigned flow channel. Furthermore, a new ph measurement device has been proposed to detect the ion concentration on the cathode surface, elucidating the relationship between electrolytic cell components, ion concentration, and Faraday efficiency（FE）. The results reveal that the electrolyzer resistance and cell voltage are reduced, and the hydrogen evolution reaction（HER） is effectively reduced due to the high alkali environment and rapid mass transfer enabled by the diaphragm. Furthermore, the uniform flow of electrolytes and rapid desorption of O2bubbles on the anode surface have been achieved through the redesigned flow channel using the computational fluid dynamics（CFd） simulation. diaphragm-based electrolyzer with a double-layer cathode catalyst structure has been adopted, and the catalytic area has been expanded to 100 cm2. After running for 100 h at a current density of 200 m A/cm2in a 1 mol/L KOH solution, the FECOstill exceeds 90%, with a cell voltage of approximately 3 V.

The so-called fourth-generation biodegradable vascular stent has become a research hotspot in thefield of bioengineering because of its good degradation ability and drug-loading ***,the preparationof polymer-degraded vascular stents is affected by known problem such as poor processflexibility,low formingaccuracy,large diameter wall thickness,limited complex pore structure,weak mechanical properties of radial support and high process *** this study,a deposition technique based on a high-voltage electric-field-driven continuous rotating jet is proposed to fabricate fully degraded polymer vascular *** experimental results showthat,due to the rotation of the deposition axis,the deposition direction of PCL(polycaprolactone)micro-jet isalways tangent to the surface of the deposition *** direction of the viscous drag force is also consistent withthe deposition direction of the *** is shown that by setting different rotation speeds of deposition axisωandlinear motion speeds of the nozzle V,the direction of rotation,pitch and angle of the individual printed spiralcurve can be precisely *** the process of multiple spiral curves matching the deposition forming thin walltube mesh,the mesh shape and size of the thin wall tube can be accurately controlled by changing the number ofmatching spiral curves and the size of the matching position bias ***,the characteristics of a PCLtubular stent sample(with uniform-size microfibers and mesh shape),fabricated under the appropriate processparameters are described in detail.

BACKGROUNd The incidence of multiple pregnancies has increased worldwide recently and women with a twin pregnancy are at higher risk of adverse outcomes compared with women with a singleton *** is important to understand the risk factors for adverse fetal outcomes in twin pregnancy in order to guide clinical *** To identify the independent risk factors,including maternal personal and family medical histories and first trimester ultrasound screening findings,for adverse fetal outcomes of twin pregnancy before 28 weeks of *** The data of 126 twin pregnancies in our hospital,including pregnancy outcomes,first trimester ultrasound screening findings and maternal medical history,were retrospectively ***-nine women with adverse outcomes were included in the abnormal group and the remaining 97 women were included in the control *** Patients in the abnormal group were more likely to be monochorionic diamniotic(13/29 vs 20/97,P=0.009),with a higher mean pulsatility index(PI,1.57±0.55 vs 1.28±0.42,P=0.003;cutoff value:1.393)or a higher mean resistance index(0.71±0.11 vs 0.65±0.11,P=0.008;cutoff value:0.683)or early diastolic notch of bilateral uterine arteries(UtAs,10/29 vs 15/97,P=0.024)or with abnormal ultrasound findings(13/29 vs 2/97,Pd with the control *** diamnioticity,higher mean PI of bilateral UtAs and abnormal ultrasound findings during first trimester screening were independent risk factors for adverse fetal outcomes(Pd screening for twin pregnancy identifies independent risk factors and is useful for the prediction of fetal outcomes.

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and furans （PCdd/Fs） emissions in flue gas from two types of municipal solid waste incinerators （MSWIs） most commonly used in China were investigated in this study. The selected incinerators include two grate-type MSWIs： MSWI-A （350 t/d） and MSWI-B 050 t/d）, and two fluidized bed MSWIs： MSWI-C （400 t/d） and MSWI-d （400 t/d）, which are all equipped with semi-dry lime scrubber and bag filter except MSWI-d equipped with cyclone and wet scrubber （WS） as air pollutant control device （APCd）. Results indicated that the emission concentration and the international toxic equivalents （I-TEQs） of the PCdd/Fs from the stacks were in the range of 1.210-10.273 ng/Nm^3 and 0.019-0.201 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3, respectively. They were greatly lower than the emission regulation standard of PCdd/Fs in China （1.0 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3）. However, only the PCdd/Fs emission level from MSWI-C was below 0.1 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3. Although the homologue profiles were distinct, the contributions of the 2,3,7,8-subsituted congeners to the total I-TEQ were similar among all the investigated MSWIs. Two major 2,3,7,8-substituted congeners, 2,3,4,7,8-PeCdF and 1,2,3,7,8-PeCdd, account for 47% and 9% （average values） of the total I-TEQ values, respectively. The correlation between PCdd/Fs levels and composition of flue gas was also discussed.

A series of the electrochemical and long-term corrosion tests was carried out in a 3.5 wt% Na2SO4 solution on thermal-sprayed WC-17Co and WC-10Co-4Cr cermet coatings in order to examine the effect of composition of binder materials on the corrosion behavior. The results reveal that the overall corrosion resistance of the WC-17Co coating is inferior to that of the WC-Co-Cr coatings due to the corrosion of binder materials which induce WC particles to fall off. CoO and WO3 oxide films form on the surface of WC-17Co coating in Na2SO4 solution electrochemical corrosion process, which will protect the coating in the process of corrosion. Cr2O3 oxide film formed on the WC-10Co-4Cr coating surface has a strong hindered role to corrosion. The corrosion mechanism of WC-17Co coating in Na2SO4 solution is entire corrosion of Co matrix, while it is film-hole corrosion mechanism for WC-10Co-4Cr coating.

Normal spermatogenic processes require the scrotal temperature to be lower than that of the body as excessive heat affects spermatogenesis in the testes,reduces sperm quality and quantity,and even causes *** reticulum stress(ERS)is a crucial factor in many *** several studies have linked ERS to heat stress,researchers have not yet determined which ERS signaling pathways contribute to heat-induced testicular *** activates antioxidant enzymes,scavenges free radicals,and protects the testes from inflammation;however,few studies have reported on the influence of melatonin on heat-induced testicular *** a murine model of testicular hyperthermia,we observed that heat stress causes both ERS and apoptosis in the testes,especially in the *** observations were confirmed using the mouse spermatocyte cell line GC2,where the Atf6 and Perk signaling pathways were activated during heat *** of the above genes effectively reduced spermatocyte damage caused by heat *** with melatonin alleviated heat-induced apoptosis by inhibiting the Atf6 and Perk signaling *** mitigation was dependent on the melatonin *** vivo experiments verified that melatonin treatment relieved heat-induced testicular *** conclusion,our results demonstrated that ATF6 and PERK are important mediators for heat-induced apoptosis,which can be prevented by melatonin ***,our study highlights melatonin as a potential therapeutic agent in mammals for subfertility/infertility induced by testicular hyperthermia.

Lovastatin production by Aspergillus terreus ATCC 20542 in solid-state fermentation （SSF） was studied. Various substrates were used to evaluate the ability ofA. terreus to produce lovastatin. The results showed that either rice or wheat bran was suitable substrate for lovastatin production in SSF. The maximum yield of lovastatin （2.9 mg/g dry substrate） using rice as substrate was achieved after incubating for 11 d at the following optimized process parameters： 50%-60% initial moisture content, ph 5.5, incubation temperature 28 ℃.

The bacterial family Mycobacteriaceae includes pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacteria,and systematic research on their genome and phenome can give comprehensive perspectives for exploring their disease *** this study,the pheno-types of Mycobacteriaceae were inferred from available phenomic data,and 82 microbial phenotypic traits were recruited as data elements of the microbial *** Mycobacteriaceae phenome contains five categories and 20 subcategories of polyphasic phenotypes,and three categories and eight subcategories of functional phenotypes,all of which are complemen-tary to the existing data standards of microbial *** phenomic data of Mycobacteriaceae strains were compiled by literature mining,third-party database integration,and bioinformatics *** phenotypes were searchable and comparable from the website of the Mycobacteriaceae phenome Atlas(MPA,https://*** ***/mpa/).A topological data analysis of MPA revealed the co-evolution between Mycobacterium tuberculosis and virulence factors,and uncovered potential pathogenicity-associated *** hundred and sixty potential pathogen-enriched pathways were found by Fisher's exact *** application of MPA may provide novel insights into the pathogenicity mechanism and antimicrobial targets of Mycobacteriaceae.

A Flexible dSP-Based Network forReal-Time Image-Processing

This paper proposed a general purpose real-time image processing system based on a flexible dSP-based Network, which is implemented by a high bandwidth communication channel, links. The links is realized using FPGA and provides a bandwidth of 12. 8 Gbit/s. Using the links, The topologic of multi-dSP system can be changed online to meet the variabilities of the parallel algorithm of image processing. The system can be assembled with utmost tens of boards and maintain the high communication speed. Analysis of the system adaptivity to image processing is testified followed by actual results.
