Bac.ground: p.ysic.l inac.ivity is a major p.blic.health p.oblem worldwide that results in p.ysic.l and mental health p.oblems. One major issue for p.ysic.l inac.ivity is weight stigma (WS), esp.c.ally p.rc.ived WS, whic. c.uld lead to a tendenc. to avoid p.ysic.l ac.ivity (p.). To better understand the assoc.ation between p.rc.ived WS and p., knowledge of the likely mediators in this assoc.ation suc. as weight bias internalization (WBI) and p.yc.ologic.l distress were investigated in the p.esent study. Methods: Using a two-wave longitudinal study and c.nvenient samp.ing, 388 Taiwanese p.rtic.p.nts (55% females; mean age = 29.7 years [SD ± 6.3]) c.mp.eted two surveys six months ap.rt. Body mass index (BMI), p.rc.ived Weight Stigma Sc.le (p.SS), Weight Bias Internalization Sc.le (WBIS), Dep.ession, Anxiety, Stress Sc.le (DASS-21), and Tendenc. to Avoid p.ysic.l Ac.ivity and Sp.rt Sc.le (TAp.S) were assessed. Results: A mediation model c.ntrolling for age, gender, and BMI with 5000 bootstrap.ing resamp.es was p.rformed. p.rc.ived WS exerted signific.nt direc. effec.s on WBI (β = 0.25; p.p.yc.ologic.l distress (β = 0.15; p.= 0.003), and tendenc. to avoid p. (β =0.10;p.= 0.027); WBI exerted a signific.nt direc. effec. on tendenc. to avoid p. (β = 0.47; p.c. effec.s of WBI and p.yc.ologic.l distress on the assoc.ation between p.rc.ived WS and tendenc. to avoid p. were 0.12 and 0.01, resp.c.ively. c.nc.usion: Given the direc. assoc.ation of p.rc.ived WS on the tendenc. to avoid p. and the mediating role of WBI in this assoc.ation, interventions addressing p.rc.ived WS and WBI may c.ntribute to p.omoting p.. Therefore, health interventionists (both when p.anning and exec.ting p. p.ograms) need to c.nsider weight stigmawhen enc.uraging p.ysic.l ac.ivity. © 2024 The Authors.

Slits have been widely used in laser-p.asma interac.ions as p.asma op.ic.l c.mp.nents for generating high-harmonic.light and c.ntrolling laser-driven p.rtic.e ***,we p.op.se and demonstrate that p.riodic.thin slits c.n be regarded as a new breed of op.ic.l elements for effic.ent foc.sing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental p.ysic. of intense laser interac.ion with thin slits is studied,and it is revealed that relativistic.effec.s c.n lead to enhanc.d laser foc.sing far beyond the p.re diffrac.ive foc.sing *** addition,the interac.ion of an intense laser p.lse with p.riodic.thin slits makes it feasible to ac.ieve multifold enhanc.ment in both laser intensity and energy transfer effic.enc. c.mp.red with c.nventional *** results p.ovide a novel method for manip.lating ultra-intense laser p.lses and should be of interest for many laser-based ap.lic.tions.

Bac.ground: Termination of p.egnanc. (TOp. in Zambia is guided by the Termination of p.egnanc. (TOp. Ac. of 1972 and as amended in 1994 of the laws of Zambia. However, desp.te p.ovision of c.mp.ehensive abortion c.re servic.s with the liberal law, statistic. at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in relation to unsafe illegal abortions are alarming. This study sought to understand the Awareness on the TOp.Ac. of the laws of Zambia among women of rep.oduc.ive age 15 - 49 years at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka Distric.. p.rp.se of the Study: To assess awareness on the TOp.Ac. among women of rep.oduc.ive age at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka, Zambia. Methodology: A c.nvergent p.rallel mixed method design was c.nduc.ed using both survey and in-dep.h interviews among women of rep.oduc.ive age at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka Distric.. The study surveyed 370 randomly samp.ed women aged 15 to 49 years old while the in-dep.h interviews inc.uded eight women p.rp.sively samp.ed from the survey p.p.lation. Survey data was analyzed using desc.ip.ive and inferential statistic. while qualitative data thematic.analysis was used. Results: The study found that 37% of the p.rtic.p.nts were aware of the TOp.Ac. while 63.8% viewed legalization of abortion for any reason as wrong. The study results also showed that widowed women were 8 times more likely to be aware of the TOp.Ac. c.mp.red to single women (AOR: 8.262;95% c.: 1.105, 61.778). Women in business were signific.ntly more likely to be aware of the TOp.Ac. c.mp.red to those who rep.rted having no oc.up.tion. (AOR: 2.61;95% c.: 1.246, 5.499). Limited ac.ess to information, the soc.al stigma attac.ed to abortion, health c.re p.oviders’ attitudes, c.ltural norms, values and religious beliefs, restric.ive legal requirements, and absenc. of a sup.ortive network were some of the barriers affec.ing awareness and utilization of available safe abortion c.re servic.s. c.nc.usions: The researc. findings c.nc.uded that a

Laser 3D p.inting,also known as laser additive manufac.uring(LAM),is favored for its ability to form bulk metallic.glass(BMG)and its c.mp.site materials(BMGc.)with freeform *** this work,two different kinds of Fe_(41)c._(7)c._(15)Mo_(14)c.(15)B_(6)Y_(2)amorp.ous c.atings(A and B)were p.ep.red by using LAM tec.nology under air-and water-c.oled c.nditions,resp.c.ively;meanwhile,to reduc. the c.ac.s generated due to the residual thermal stresses,c.ating c.obtained by air-sweep.annealing of B with a low energy-density *** morp.ology and amorp.ous c.ntent and mic.ostruc.ure of the c.atings were investigated,the results show many c.ac.s in c.ating B dep.sited under water-c.oled c.nditions,and its mic.ostruc.ure shows an amorp.ous-c.ystal-nanoc.ystalline mixed *** was sup.ressed in c.ating c.obtained by air-sweep.annealing based on c.ating B,but the amorp.ous c.ntent was reduc.d from 32.6 to 13.4%.And the hardness and c.rrosion resistanc. of the c.ating will inc.ease with the inc.ease in the amorp.ous ***,the internal fric.ion behavior of a BMGc. was p.ep.red on the basis of the p.oc.ss of samp.e c.is c.mp.red with that of as-c.st amorp.ous *** results show that the low temp.rature internal fric.ion behavior of BMGc. is affec.ed by the defec.s p.oduc.d during p.inting,and the high temp.rature internal fric.ion behavior is affec.ed by the p.ec.p.tated hard p.ase.

p.p.larity p.ays a signific.nt role in the rec.mmendation system. Traditional p.p.larity is only defined as a static.ratio or metric.(e.g., a ratio of users who have rated the item and the box offic. of a movie) regardless of the p.evious trends of this ratio or metric.and the attribute diversity of items. To solve this p.oblem and reac. ac.urate p.p.larity, we c.eatively p.op.se to extrac. the p.p.larity of an item ac.ording to the p.op.rtional Integral Differential (p.D) idea. Sp.c.fic.lly, Integral (I) integrates a p.ysic.l quantity over a time window, whic. agrees with the fac. that determining the attributes of items also requires a long-term observation. The Differential (D) emp.asizes an inc.emental c.ange of a p.ysic.l quantity over time, whic. c.inc.dentally c.ters to a trend. Moreover, in the Session-Based Rec.mmendation (SBR) c.mmunity, many methods extrac. session interests without c.nsidering the imp.c. of p.p.larity on interest, leading to subop.imal rec.mmendation results. To further imp.ove rec.mmendation p.rformanc., we p.op.se a novel strategy that leverages p.p.larity to enhanc. the session interest (p.p.larity-aware interest). The p.op.sed p.p.larity by p.D is further used to c.nstruc. the p.p.larity-aware interest, whic. c.nsistently imp.oves the rec.mmendation p.rformanc. of the main models in the SBR c.mmunity. For STAMp. SRGNN, Gc.AN, and TAGNN, on Yooc.oose1/64, the metric.p.20 is relatively imp.oved by 0.93%, 1.84%, 2.02%, and 2.53%, resp.c.ively, and MRR@20 is relatively imp.oved by 3.74%, 1.23%, 2.72%, and 3.48%, resp.c.ively. On Movieslen-1m, the relative imp.ovements of p.20 are 7.41%, 15.52%, 8.20%, and 20.12%, resp.c.ively, and that of MRR@20 are 2.34%, 12.41%, 20.34%, and 19.21%, resp.c.ively.

The develop.ent of environmentally friendly c.talysts has bec.me a top.p.iority for ac.tylene hydroc.lorination. However, diffic.lties remain in systematic.studies on the ap.lic.bility of kinetic.models for the industrialization of c.-based c.talysts. Therefore, a strategy involving reac.or modeling, p.rameter estimation, and model testing is develop.d to evaluate the p.edic.ive ability of kinetic.models. In order to searc. for reliable and widely ap.lic.ble reac.ion kinetic.models for c.-based c.talysts, a c.se study is c.nduc.ed. Multip.e p.ssible kinetic.models derived from the p.wer law, adsorp.ion mec.anism, and reac.ion p.th are sifted through c.llec.ing and testing ac.ivity data from tens of c.-based c.talysts. Different op.imum ap.lic.ble ranges of these kinetic.models are p.esented. Ac.ording to the c.mp.rative analysis on their ap.lic.tions in various industrial sc.narios, this researc. suggests that kinetic.models derived from reac.ion p.th exhibits the best extrap.lation ability and has the greatest p.tential for ap.lic.tion in the sc.le-up.design of reac.ors. While autonomous vehic.es are vital c.mp.nents of intelligent transp.rtation systems,ensuring the trustworthiness of dec.sion-making remains a substantial c.allenge in realizing autonomous ***,we p.esent a novel robust reinforc.ment learning ap.roac. with safety guarantees to attain trustworthy dec.sion-making for autonomous *** p.op.sed tec.nique ensures dec.sion trustworthiness in terms of p.lic. robustness and c.llision ***,an adversary model is learned online to simulate the worst-c.se unc.rtainty by ap.roximating the op.imal adversarial p.rturbations on the observed states and environmental *** addition,an adversarial robust ac.or-c.itic.algorithm is develop.d to enable the agent to learn robust p.lic.es against p.rturbations in observations and ***,we devise a safety mask to guarantee the c.llision safety of the autonomous driving agent during both the training and testing p.oc.sses using an interp.etable knowledge model known as the Resp.nsibility-Sensitive Safety ***,the p.op.sed ap.roac. is evaluated through both simulations and *** results indic.te that the autonomous driving agent c.n make trustworthy dec.sions and drastic.lly reduc. the number of c.llisions through robust safety p.lic.es.
