The Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction(DMI)is well known to favor a chiral rotation of the magnetic moments,which accounts for the emergence of the *** DMI is a combined effect of spin–orbit coupling with broken inversion symmetry in *** of the noncentrosymmetric magnetic materials that bear skyrmions involve nonmagnetic *** work shows that strong DMIs exist in elemental cobalt with a β-Mn-type metastable *** variation of DMI among different cobalt pairs largely follows the variation of hopping magnitude in which p electrons play an important *** the DMIs between different atomic pairs partly cancels with each other,the net interaction is sufficient to result in a left-handed Bloch-type *** dynamics simulation shows that a critical magnetic field of 2.9 T stabilizes skyrmions at 0 K.

Cervical spondylosis is a common disease that is often caused by long-term abnormal cervical curvature due to activities such as reading books and using computers or *** paper explores building an untethered and skin-integrated device in an e-skin form factor to monitor and haptically correct neck *** proposed design features a multilayered structure that integrates all flexible electronic circuits and components into a compact skin space while being untethered and skin *** accelerometer in the e-skin attaches to the neck for posture sensing,while four vibration actuators closely touch the neck skin to provide localized vibrotactile stimuli that encode four-direction correction cues of neck flexion±αand lateral bending±β.To ensure the reliability of posture sensing and vibrotactile rendering during neck movement,it is necessary to prevent the e-skin device from shifting ***,a hollow structure-based method is implemented for stably attaching the e-skin to the neck *** validated the e-skin device's sensing precision,skin-conformal compliance,stickiness,stability and effectiveness during the motion of neck postures,including its discrimination of localized four-direction vibrotactile cues.A user study verified the device's performance for sensing and correcting different abnormal neck postures during activities such as using smartphones,reading books,and processing computer *** proposed e-skin device may create opportunities for more convenient cervical spondylosis prevention and rehabilitation.

The present paper covers the unprecedented preparation of stable aqueous Dy-ferrite ferrofluids, whereby colloidal Dy_ δ Fe_ 3- δ O_4 ultrafine particles were dispersed by using polymeric surfactant PMAA. The stabilities of the series of the ferrofluids were studied according to the stability indexes. The susceptibility measurements were made with a Farady-type magnetic balance at various temperatures and magnetic field intensities. In terms of Langevin function, the σ versus H/T curves showed that Dy-ferrite ferrofluids exhibited superparamagnetism behavior and the blocking temperatures were in the range from 160 to 200 K. Moreover, the ferrofluids were characterized by means of Infra-red spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Mssbauer spectroscopy.

Rockburst is a kind of common geological disaster in deep tunnel *** has the characteristics of causing great harm and occurring at random locations and *** characteristics seriously affect tunnel construction and threaten the physical and mental health and safety of ***,it is of great significance to study the tendency of rockburst in the early stage of tunnel survey,design and *** present,there is no unified method and selected parameters for rockburst *** view of the large difference of different rockburst criteria and the imbalance of rockburst database categories,this paper presents a two-step rockburst prediction method based on multiple factors and the stacking ensemble *** the influence of rock physical and mechanical parameters,tunnel face conditions and excavation disturbance,multiple rockburst criteria are predicted by integrating multiple machine learning algorithms.A combined prediction model of rockburst criteria is established,and the results of each rockburst criterion index are weighted and combined,with the weight updated using the field rockburst *** dynamic weight is combined with the cloud model to comprehensively evaluate the regional rockburst *** results from applying the model in the Grand Canyon tunnel show that the rockburst prediction method proposed in this paper has better applicability and higher accuracy than the single rockburst criterion.

Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by sustained neuroinflammation leading to memory loss and cognitive *** past decade has witnessed tremendous efforts in Alzheimer’s disease research;however,no effective treatment is available to prevent disease *** increasing body of evidence suggests that neuroinflammation plays an important role in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis,alongside the classical pathological hallmarks such as misfolded and aggregated proteins(e.g.,amyloid-beta and tau).Firstly,this review summarized the clinical and pathological characteristics of Alzheimer’s ***,we outlined key aspects of glial cell-associated inflammation in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis and provided the latest evidence on the roles of microglia and astrocytes in Alzheimer’s disease ***,we revealed the double-edged nature of inflammatory cytokines and inflammasomes in Alzheimer’s *** addition,the potential therapeutic roles of innate immunity and neuroinflammation for Alzheimer’s disease were also discussed through these *** the final section,the remaining key problems according to the current research status were discussed.

CO and C3Hs Total Oxidation over Pd Catalysts Supported on Commercial Ce-Zr Solid Solution： Effects of the Calcination Temperature and Hydrothermal Treatment

A series of Pd catalysts supported on commercial Ce-Zr solid solution（Pd/CZ） calcined at different tem- peratures（750, 900 and 1050 %℃） was prepared via an incipient wetness impregnation method. The activities of the fresh and hydrothermally aged PdTCZ catalysts were tested for total oxidation of CO and C3H8. For CO oxidation, the activity of either fresh or aged Pd/CZ catalysts decreased with the elevating of calcination temperature of CZ support, with a fresh catalyst calcined at 750 ℃ possessing the highest activity and hydrothermal stability. For C3H8 total oxidation, the activity of Pd/CZ catalysts could be improved by increasing the calcination temperature of support. However, the aged Pd/CZ catalysts showed higher activity than corresponding fresh Pd/CZ catalysts. The turnover frequency（TOF） over Pd/CZ catalyst for CO oxidation increased with increasing reduction ability of the catalysts, with a fresh catalyst calcined at 750 ℃ having the highest value（0.27 s^-1）. However, the TOF of Pd/CZ catalyst for C3Hs total oxidation was mainly affected by the size of Pd particles, and large Pd particles possessed a higher activity, with the highest TOF value（0.96s^-1） obtained over an aged catalyst calcined at 1050 ℃.

Boosting Oxygen Evolution Reaction Performance on NiFe‑Based Catalysts Through d‑Orbital Hybridization

Anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers(AEMWEs)for green hydrogen production have received intensive attention due to their feasibility of using earth-abundant NiFe-based *** introducing a third metal into NiFe-based catalysts to construct asymmetrical M-NiFe units,the d-orbital and electronic structures can be adjusted,which is an important strategy to achieve sufficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance in ***,the ternary NiFeM(M:La,Mo)catalysts featured with distinct M-NiFe units and varying d-orbitals are reported in this *** and theoretical calculation results reveal that the doping of La leads to optimized hybridization between d orbital in NiFeM and 2p in oxygen,resulting in enhanced adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates,and reduced rate-determining step energy barrier,which is responsible for the enhanced OER *** critically,the obtained NiFeLa catalyst only requires 1.58 V to reach 1 A cm^(−2) in an anion exchange membrane electrolyzer and demonstrates excellent long-term stability of up to 600 h.

We report an AIN epi-layer grown on sapphire by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy with a thin interlayer structure. The effects of growth mode on threading dislocations （TDs） and surface morphology are studied. Then an interlayer structure grown under a V/Ⅲ ratio of 1 is adopted to improve the AIN crystalline quality. By optimizing the thickness of the interlayer, the TD density and surface roughness can be reduced simultaneously.
