Traditional security systems are exposed to many various attacks,which represents a major challenge for the spread of the Internet in the *** techniques have been suggested for detecting attacks using machine learning and deep *** significant advantage of deep learning is that it is highly efficient,but it needs a large training time with a lot of ***,in this paper,we present a new feature reduction strategy based on Distributed Cumulative histograms(DCh)to distinguish between dataset features to locate the most effective *** histograms assess the dataset instance patterns of the applied features to identify the most effective attributes that can significantly impact the classification *** different models for detecting attacks using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and Long Short-Term Memory Network(LSTM)are also *** accuracy test of attack detection using the hybrid model was 98.96%on the UNSW-NP15 *** proposed model is compared with wrapper-based and filter-based Feature Selection(FS)*** proposed model reduced classification time and increased detection accuracy.

Side lobe level reduction(SLL)of antenna arrays significantly enhances the signal-to-interference ratio and improves the quality of service(QOS)in recent and future wireless communication systems starting from 5G up to ***,it improves the array gain and directivity,increasing the detection range and angular resolution of radar *** study proposes two highly efficient SLL reduction *** techniques are based on the hybridization between either the single convolution or the double convolution algorithms and the genetic algorithm(GA)to develop the Conv/GA andDConv/GA,*** convolution process determines the element’s excitations while the GA optimizes the element *** M elements linear antenna array(LAA),the convolution of the excitation coefficients vector by itself provides a new vector of excitations of length N=(2M−1).This new vector is divided into three different sets of excitations including the odd excitations,even excitations,and middle excitations of lengths M,M−1,andM,*** the same element spacing as the original LAA is used,it is noticed that the odd and even excitations provide a much lower SLL than that of the LAA but with amuch wider half-power beamwidth(hPBW).While the middle excitations give the same hPBWas the original LAA with a relatively higher *** the increased hPBWof the odd and even excitations,the element spacing is optimized using the ***,the synthesized arrays have the same hPBW as the original LAA with a two-fold reduction in the ***,for extreme SLL reduction,the DConv/GA is *** this technique,the same procedure of the aforementioned Conv/GA technique is performed on the resultant even and odd excitation *** provides a relatively wider hPBWthan the original LAA with about quad-fold reduction in the SLL.

Experimental and parametrical investigation of pre-stressed ultrahigh-performance fiberreinforced concrete railway sleepers

In this study,ultrahigh-performance fiber-reinforced concrete(UhPFRC)used in a type B70 concrete sleeper is investigated experimentally and *** main parameters investigated are the steel fiber volume fractions(0%,0.5%,1%,and 1.5%).Under European standards,35 UhPFRC sleepers are subjected to static bending tests at the center and rail seat sections,and the screw on the fastening system is pulled *** first cracking load,failure load,failure mode,crack propagation,load–deflection curve,load–crack width,and failure load from these tests are measured and compared with those of a control sleeper manufactured using normal concrete *** accuracy of the parametric study is verified ***,the results of the study are applied to UhPFRC sleepers with different concrete volumes to investigate the effects of the properties of UhPFRC on their *** and parametric study results show that the behavior of UhPFRC sleepers improves significantly when the amount of steel fiber in the mix is *** manufactured using UhPFRC with a steel fiber volume fraction of 1%and a concrete volume less than 25%that of standard sleeper B70 can be used under the same loads and requirements,which contributes positively to the cost and surrounding environment.

Investigation of Interline Dynamic Voltage Restorer with Virtual Impedance Injection

The inter-line dynamic voltage restorer （IDVR） consists of several voltage source inverters connected to different independent distribution feeders with common dc bus. When one of the inverters compensates for voltage sag that appears in its feeder （voltage control mode）, the other inverters pump the required power into the dc bus （power control mode）. Each inverter will have both voltage and power controllers; only one controller is in use during the abnormal conditions according to its feeder state. The voltage controller uses one of the dynamic voltage restoration techniques. In this paper, the in-phase technique is applied and two types of loads are considered （constant impedance and three phase induction motor）. Since the voltage restoration process may need real power injection into the distribution system, the power controller injects this power via voltage injection. This voltage injection is simulated by voltage drop across series virtual impedance. A new scheme is proposed to select the impedance value. The impedance value is selected such that the power consumed by this impedance represents the required power to be transferred without perturbing the load voltage. The performance of this system is also studied during voltage swell. A scheme for operation of multi-feeder IDVR system is proposed in this paper. Simulation results substantiate the proposed concept.

Literature review of the outcome of and methods used to improve transperineal repair of rectocele

BACKGROUND Rectocele is commonly seen in parous women and sometimes associated with symptoms of obstructed defecation syndrome(ODS).AIM To assess the current literature in regard to the outcome of the classical transperineal repair(TPR)of rectocele and its technical *** An organized literature search for studies that assessed the outcome of TPR of rectocele was ***/Medline and Google Scholar were queried in the period of January 1991 through December *** main outcome measures were improvement in ODS symptoms,improvement in sexual functions and continence,changes in manometric parameters,and quality of *** After screening of 306 studies,24 articles were found eligible for inclusion to the *** studies(301 patients)assessed the classical TPR of *** median rate of postoperative improvement in ODS symptoms was 72.7%(range,45.8%-83.3%)and reduction in rectocele size ranged from 41.4%-95.0%.Modifications of the classical repair entailed omission of levatorplasty,addition of implant,concomitant lateral internal sphincterotomy,changing the direction of plication of rectovaginal septum,and site-specific *** The transperineal repair of rectocele is associated with satisfactory,yet variable,improvement in ODS symptoms with parallel increase in quality-of-life *** modifications of the classical TPR were *** modifications include omission of levatorplasty,insertion of implants,performing lateral sphincterotomy,changing the direction of classical plication,and site-specific *** indications for these modifications are not yet fully clear and need further prospective studies to help tailor the technique to rectocele patients.

Effect of Microalloying Additions on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Low Carbon Steel

Parameters Affecting Energy Consumption for Producing high Carbon Ferromanganese in a Closed Submerged Arc Furnace

The power consumption is considered to be the most important factor affecting the production cost of fer romanganese alloy. Different parameters affecting the energy consumption for industrial production of high carbon ferromanganese hCFeMn were investigated in a closed submerged arc furnace. The analysis of industrial data revealed that the most energy consumed factors were the direct reduction by solid carbon, Boudouard reaction, metal and slag formation, and decomposition of fluxing materials （limestone and dolomite）. To reduce the energy con- sumption and minimize the energy losses in the production process of hCFeMn, it was recommended to use Mn blend with minimum Mn to Fe ratio of 6 and lower SiO2 content or higher basicity. The added coke must be adjusted according to the material balance to prevent the over-coke and to minimize the highly endothermic ＂Boudouard reac tion＂. In addition, it was recommended to work at basic slags with the ratio of （CaO＋MgO） to Si（）2 equal to 1.0- 1.2 instead of much higher slag basicity. Furthermore, the mass losses had to be minimized through adjusting the handling and charging process and to take care of all metal produced.
