当代媒介文化已经出现“图像转向”,并迎来了“后印刷时代”,因此媒介的图文关系至关重要。宋代是中国书籍发展史上雕版印刷的黄金时代。本研究运用文本分析法、文献研究法和图像分析法从视觉逻辑、功能逻辑、价值逻辑回溯宋代书籍图文关系。两宋书籍图文关系所表征的认知方式和视觉体验,反映了中国古人从眼观(视觉逻辑)到理观(功能逻辑)到心观(价值逻辑)的认知过程,是中国传统审美心理和中国书籍图像观念的重要部分。

目的血脑屏障(blood-brain barrier,BBB)主要由脑微血管内皮细胞组成。本研究以大鼠脑微血管内皮细胞(rat brain microvascular endothelial cells,rBMECs)为模式细胞,探索正常生理、缺血低灌注和术后高灌注条件下的流体剪切力(flow shear force,FSF)对BBB结构功能的保护、损伤和破坏的力学生物学机制。方法以1×10^(5)细胞/cm^(2)的密度接种rBMECs培养48 h,对rBMECs分别施加0.5、2和20 dyn/cm2的FSF,模拟脑血管狭窄的低灌注、正常生理和搭桥术后高剪切力作用下BBB结构的受力情况;同时设置静态培养组rBMECs作为对照(不施加力)。光学显微镜、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)以及激光共聚焦显微镜(LSCM)观察细胞形态和骨架的变化。透射电子显微镜(TEM)观察细胞紧密连接,免疫荧光染色检测紧密连接相关蛋白(claudin-5、occludin、ZO-1)、黏着连接相关蛋白(VE-cadherin、PECAM-1)分布的变化。Western blot检测不同强度FSF下紧密连接相关蛋白(claudin-5、ZO-1、JAM4),黏着连接相关蛋白(VE-cadherin)和Rho GTPases信号关键蛋白(Rac1、Cdc42、RhoA)的表达。结果镜下观察发现:静态培养和低剪切作用(0.5 dyn/cm2)下细胞骨架排列紊乱,取向无规律;正常生理剪切作用(2 dyn/cm^(2))下,细胞骨架顺应FSF方向重排,胞间观察到有效的紧密连接结构;高剪切作用(20 dyn/cm^(2))下,细胞间间隙增大,未观察到有效的紧密连接结构。免疫荧光染色发现低剪切作用时,细胞间距减小,但胞间连接处紧密连接相关蛋白和黏着连接相关蛋白分布较少;正常生理条件下细胞连接紧密,大部分紧密连接相关蛋白的分布集中在胞间连接处;高剪切作用时,胞间距离显著增大,连接紧密和黏着连接的结构被破坏。Western blot结果发现:低剪切作用下,claudin-5、ZO-1和VE-cadherin与对照组相比均上调(P<0.05);正常生理剪切作用下,claudin-5、ZO-1、JAM4以及VE-cadherin与对照组相比均呈现高表达(P<0.05);高剪切作用下,claudin-5、ZO-1、JAM4以及VEcadherin的表达与正常生理剪切作用组比较下调(P<0.05);生理条件下胞内的Rho GTPases(Rac1、Cdc42、RhoA)表达上调,高于其他实验组(P<0.05),而低剪切和高剪切作用下的Rho GTPases表达均较正常生理剪切作用组下调(P<0.05)。结论正常生理条件下的FSF有助于维持BBB结构的完整性,而低剪切或高剪切均会损伤或破坏血脑屏障的结构,FSF对BBB的调控与紧密连接相关蛋白和黏着连接相关蛋白的表达和分布密切相关。

Tribological properties of copper matrix composites reinforced with homogeneously dispersed graphene nanosheets

Graphene reinforced copper matrix composites （Gr/Cu） were fabricated by electrostatic self-assembly and powder metallurgy. The morphology and structure of graphene oxide, graphene oxide-Cu powders and Gr/Cu composites were characterized by scanning electronic microscopy, transmission electronic microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The effects of graphene contents, applied loads and sliding speeds on the tribological behavior of the composites were investigated. The results indicate that the coefficient of friction of the composites decreases first and then increases with increasing the graphene content. The lowest friction coefficient is achieved in 0.3 wt~ Gr/Cu composite, which decreases by 65% compared to that of pure copper. The coefficient of friction of the composite does not have significant change with increasing the applied load, however, it increases with increasing the sliding speed. The tribological mechanisms of the composite under different conditions were also investigated.

The coexistence of inorganic and organic contaminants is a challenge for real-life water treatment applications.Therefore,in this research,we used NH_2-MIL-125(Ti)to evaluate the single adsorption of hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ))or Rhodamine B(RhB)in an aqueous solution and further investigate simultaneous adsorption experiments to compare the adsorption behavior changes.The main influencing factors,for example,reaction time,initial concentration,reaction temperature,and pH were studied in detail.In all reaction systems,the pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm models were well illuminated the adsorption progress of Cr(Ⅵ)and RhB.Thermodynamic studies showed that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic.As compared to the single system,the adsorption capacity of Cr(Ⅵ)in the binary system gradually decreased as the additive amount of RhB increased,whereas the adsorption capacity of RhB in the binary system was expanded brilliantly.When the binary reaction system contained 100 mg/L Cr(Ⅵ),the removal rate of RhB increased to 97.58%.The formation of Cr(Ⅵ)-RhB and Cr(Ⅲ)-RhB complexes was the cause that provided facilitation for the adsorption of RhB.These findings prove that the interactions during the water treatment process between contaminants may obtain additional benefits,contributing to a better adsorption capacity of co-existing contaminant.

Background:This study aimed to summarize the clinical characteristics of patients with deep sternal wound infection-induced sepsis after median sternotomy and improve the treatment outcomes of infection-related sepsis.Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 21 patients with deep sternal wound infection-induced sepsis after median sternotomy who were admitted to the Department of Critical Care.The clinical manifestations,laboratory test results,infection control,and organ and nutritional support of the patients were summarized,and the follow-up data were obtained.Results:The primary symptoms of deep sternal wound infection-induced sepsis included dyspnea,high fever,chills,and altered state of consciousness.Laboratory test results revealed increased inflammatory markers and decreased oxygenation index.Renal and liver function injury were observed in 8 and 4 patients,respectively;18 and 12 patients demonstrated elevated D-dimer and N-terminal Pro B type natriuretic peptide levels,respectively.Of the 8 patients whose wound secretions tested positive for bacteria,Acinetobacter baumannii and Staphylococcus aureus infections were present in 6 and 2 patients,respectively.One of the 6 patients whose blood cultures tested positive for bacteria demonstrated Candida albicans infection.Fifteen patients received ventilator-assisted ventilation and 2 patients received renal replacement therapy.Of all the 21 patients,17 were cured,2 died,and 2 were discharged.Conclusion:Postmedian sternotomy sepsis attributed to a deep sternal wound infection usually results from a preexisting condition.The most prominent clinical manifestation is dyspnea,which is sometimes accompanied by the impairment of organ function.Infection prevention,proper nutrition support,and maintenance of healthy organ function are the cornerstones for successful treatment outcomes.

The recurrent extreme El Niño events are commonly linked to reduced vegetation growth and the land carbon sink over many but discrete regions of the Northern Hemisphere(NH).However,we reported here a pervasive and continuous vegetation greening and no weakened land carbon sink in the maturation phase of the 2015/2016 El Niño event over the NH(mainly in the extra-tropics),based on multiple evidences from remote sensing observations,global ecosystem model simulations and atmospheric CO_(2)inversions.We discovered a significant compensation effect of the enhanced vegetation growth in spring on subsequent summer/autumn vegetation growth that sustained vegetation greening and led to a slight increase in the land carbon sink over the spring and summer of 2015(average increases of 23.34%and 0.63%in net ecosystem exchange from two independent datasets relative to a 5-years average before the El Niño event,respectively)and spring of 2016(6.82%),especially in the extra-tropics of the NH,where the water supply during the pre-growing-season(November of the previous year to March of the current year)had a positive anomaly.This seasonal compensation effect was much stronger than that in 1997 and 1998 and significantly alleviated the adverse impacts of the 2015/2016 El Niño event on vegetation growth during its maturation phase.The legacy effect of water supply during the pre-growing-season on subsequent vegetation growth lasted up to approximately six months.Our findings highlight the role of seasonal compensation effects on mediating the land carbon sink in response to episodic extreme El Niño events.

Tensile Properties of an Aluminum Matrix Composite Reinforced by SnO_2-coated Al_(18)B_4O_(33) Whisker

Al18B4O33 whisker was coated by SnO2 particles using a chemical precipitation method, and an aluminum matrix composite reinforced by the coated whisker was fabricated by squeeze casting technique. It is found that the SnO2 coating can react with aluminum matrix during squeeze casting process, and Sn particles are induced near the interface between Al18B4O33 whisker and matrix. The tensile test at room temperature indicated that the tensile strength of Al18B4O33 whisker reinforced aluminum matrix composite can be enhanced by suitable content of SnO2 coating. The composites with various whisker coating contents exhibit maximum tensile plasticity at about 300 ℃, and the composite with a suitable whisker coating content could enhance its tensile plasticity evidently, which suggest that an Al18B4O33 whisker-Al composite with both high strength at room temperature and high formability at elevated temperature can be designed.
