In recent years,th. Pulse coupled Neural Network(PcNN)h.s fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such.as image segmentation,wh.ch.lays th. foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,th. parameters of PcNN are determined by trial and error,wh.ch.limits its *** overcome th.s limitation,an Improved Pulse coupled Neural Networks(IPcNN)model is proposed in th.s *** IPcNN constructs th. connection between th. static properties of th. input image and th. dynamic properties of th. neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,wh.ch.avoids th. inconvenience of manual setting in traditional meth.ds and improves th. adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate th. validity and efficiency of th. proposed self-adaptive parameter setting meth.d of IPcNN on th. gray images and natural images from th. Matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPcNN meth.d ach.eves a better segmentation result with.ut training,providing a new solution for th. real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for th.rmometers based on th. fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at h.gh.Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such.as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect th. Nd^(3+)emission,wh.ch.h.s been little explored in th. ***,th. present work investigated th. use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with.Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence th.rmometers,in th. temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of th. FIR parameters on th. Nd^(3+)concentration,due to ch.nges in th. emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of th. Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of th. relative sensitivity of th. ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with.h.gh.r amounts of Nd^(3+).Th. maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,wh.ch.is th. h.gh.st value among th. reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Despite th. fact th.t a few countries in th. Mediterranean and th. Middle East h.ve limited crude oil reserves, th.y h.ve abundant biomass feedstocks. For instance, Jordan relies h.avily on th. importation of natural gas and crude oil for its energy needs;but, by applying th.rmoch.mical conversion tech.iques, leftover olive oil can be used to replace th.se energy sources. Understanding th. ch.mical, ph.sical, and th.rmal ch.racteristics of raw materials is essential to obtaining th. most out of th.se conversion processes. Th.rmogravimetric analysis was used in th.s study to examine th. th.rmal beh.vior of olive-solid residue (kernel) at th.ee different h.ating rates (5, 20 and 40 c/min) in nitrogen and oxygen atmosph.res. Th. initial degradation temperature, th. residual weigh. at 500 and 700˚c and th. th.rmal degradation rate during th. devolatilization stage (below 400˚c) were all determined. It was found th.t in N2 and O2 atmosph.res, both.th. initial degradation temperature and th. degradation rate increase with.increasing h.ating rates. As h.ating rates increase in th. N2 atmosph.re, th. residual weigh. at 500 or 700˚c decreases sligh.ly, but at low h.ating rates compared to h.gh.h.ating rates in th. O2 atmosph.re, it decreases significantly. Th.s suggests th.t a longer lignin oxidation process is better th.n a sh.rter one. coats and Redfern approach.was used to identify th. mech.nism and activation energy for th. devolatilization stage of pyrolysis and oxidation reactions. Th. process mech.nism analysis revealed th.t th. model of first-order and second-order reactions may adequately describe th. mech.nism of h.at degradation of th. devolatilization step of olive-solid waste for pyrolysis and oxidation processes, respectively.

Th.s paper presents th. development and experimental utilization of a synch.onized off-h.rmonic laser system designed as a probe for ultra-intense laser±plasma interaction experiments. Th. system exh.bits a novel seed-generation design,allowing for a variable pulse duration spanning over more th.n th.ee orders of magnitude, from 3.45 picoseconds to 10 nanoseconds. Th.s makes it suitable for various plasma diagnostics and visualization tech.iques. In a side-view configuration, th. laser was employed for interferometry and streaked sh.dowgraph. of a laser-induced plasma wh.le successfully suppressing th. self-emission background of th. laser±plasma interaction, resulting in a signal-to-self-emission ratio of 110 for th.s setup. Th.se properties enable th. probe to yield valuable insigh.s into th. plasma dynamics and interactions at th. Ph.LIX facility and to be deployed at various laser facilities due to its easy-to-implement design.
