Revelation of bimolecular tautomerization induced by the concerted and radical interactions in lignin pyrolysis

Bimolecular interactions play crucial roles in lignin pyrolysis.The tautomerization of key intermediates has a significant impact on the formation of stable products,whereas bimolecular tautomerization has been rarely clarified.In the present work,the bimolecular tautomerization mechanism induced by both concerted and radical interactions was proposed and carefully confirmed.A characteristicβ-O-4 lignin dimer,2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol(α-OH-PPE),was used as the model compound to reveal two representative keto-phenol and enol-keto tautomerism mechanisms,based on theoretical calculations combined with pyrolysis experiments.The results indicate that the unimolecular tautomerism as the rate-determining step limits product generation,due to fairly high energy barriers.While the free hydroxy compounds and radicals derived from initial pyrolysis can further initiate bimolecular tautomerism reactions through the one-step concerted hydroxyl-assisted hydrogen transfer(hydroxylAHT)and two-step radical hydrogen abstraction interactions,respectively.By alleviating and even avoiding the large ring tension of tautomerism,the unstable tautomers(2,4-cyclohexadienone and1-hydroxy styrene)can be rapidly tautomerized into stable phenol and acetophenone with the help of intermolecular interaction.Benefitting from the significant advantage of retro-ene fragmentation in breaking theβ-O-4 bond to form tautomers,a large amount of stable phenolic and ketone products can be generated following bimolecular tautomerization in the pyrolysis ofβ-O-4 linked lignin.

针对我国巩固脱贫攻坚成果同乡村振兴有效衔接的治理实践,梳理与借鉴国际上可持续脱贫相关文献,从脱贫韧性、层次(质量)、内生可持续性3个方面,建构了可持续脱贫的概念框架,通过阐释其本质涵义及影响因素,进一步阐明实现可持续脱贫对我国过渡期巩固脱贫及过渡期后推进共同富裕的重要意义及策略。可持续脱贫体现为一种稳定的、高质量的脱贫状态,是韧性脱贫、全面高层次脱贫、内生可持续脱贫的概念集成。我国应尽快确立可持续脱贫的治贫理念与策略,将之贯穿于过渡期及过渡期后巩固脱贫、推进共富全过程,研究构建过渡期后常态帮扶与内生发展耦合促进共同富裕的制度安排,并致力于开创可持续脱贫中国范式,为全球可持续减贫发展贡献中国智慧。

pH Induced Self-assembly of AIE Fluorescent Probe for Tumor Imaging

This work reported an AIE fluorescent probe for tumor imaging based on the p H induced self-assembly strategy. The fluorescent probe was composed of an acid-responsive soluble copolymer PEG-b-PAMA-DMMA with a maleic acid amide group and an anionic soluble aggregation-induced emission fluorogen(AIEgen) TPE-2SO_(3)^(-). The polymer could be transformed into a protonated amine-containing polymer after the hydrolysis of maleic acid amide in acidic tumor microenvironment, which would be further self-assembled with TPE-2SO_(3)^(-)to form aggregated nanoparticles. The transition of TPE-2SO_(3)^(-)from dispersed state to aggregated state led to an obvious increase in fluorescence intensity due to its AIE characteristics.

Magnet-optical materials embracing coupled magnetic and photoluminescent properties in single phase are promising in microelectronics and optoelectronic devices.However,the current research mainly focuses on traditional inorganic materials,and there are few reports on molecule materials.Recently,we synthesized an organic–inorganic hybrid complex((C_(6)H_(5)C_(2)H_(3)FNH_(3))_(2)MnCl_(4)(1)with perovskite structure.Physical measurements show that 1 not only behaves as an antiferromagnet with spin canting but also exhibits unusual fluorescent properties.Importantly,under the magnetic field at different temperatures,the luminous intensity of 1 changed,and a red-shift occurred with obviously optical hysteresis.These phenomena directly prove the existence of magneto-optical coupling in 1.More interestingly,the optical hysteresis can be observed in both low and high field,which is unprecedented in other molecular materials.Even in traditional inorganic materials,it can only be observed in strong field.This special function provides the possibility for the application of low energy consumption optoelectronic devices.

Trade-off analyses between food provision and soil conservation service of Grain for Green Program in Mountainous Area

The Grain for Green Program and soil and water conservation engineering initiatives are crucial for controlling erosion in steep-slope agriculture.However,it is still unclear how these two management methods should be carried out in respect to the situation in mountainous areas.Therefore,taking a typical mountainous area in southwest China as an example,we simulated six scenarios in order to compare the food provisioning service(FPS)and soil conservation service of the Grain for Green Program(converting to grassland)and Construction Measures(converting to sloping terrace)under different slopes.Results showed that when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into grassland,the amount of soil erosion(M)decreased by 21.0%,while FPS decreased by only 0.7%.However,when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into sloping terrace,M decreased by 31.3%while FPS increased by 18.7%.With the increases of farmland slope ranges in the Construction Measures scenario,M gradually decreased and FPS gradually increased.Particularly when farmland>15°was converted into sloping terrace,M decreased by 63.9%and FPS increased by 52.7%.Furthermore,the trade-offs of Construction Measures are lower than that of Grain for Green on different slope ranges.Therefore,we conclude that Construction Measures are a more suitable method in mountainous areas than the Grain for Green,and we suggest that further research be conducted to consider the ecological risks of construction engineering measures.

The risk factors for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in li and Han ethnic groups in Hainan, China

Objective: To investigate the risk factors of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) in li and Han ethnic group in Hainan, China. Methods: All subjects were randomly selected from various regions in Hainan. General characteristics were compared between COPD cases and healthy control cases in both li and Han ethnic groups. The odds ratio(OR), the corresponding 95% confidence interval(CI) of COPD were calculated by logistic regression.Results: A total of 277 li COPD cases, 307 li healthy control subjects, 290 Han COPD cases and 301 Han healthy control were included in this study. In both the li and Han groups, the average age exceeded 65 years, and the cigarette number smoked per day and the smoking duration were correlated with risk of COPD. In the li COPD subjects, low weight, smoking, and recurrent infection of respiratory tract were mainly risk factors; while the mainly risk factor of Han COPD subjects was family history of respiratory disease. Conclusions: The risk factors are different in COPD subjects of Han and li nationalities in Hainan of China. The age and smoking are strongly correlated with COPD risk.

Chinese forest musk deer(FMD),an endangered species,have exhibited low reproductive rates even in captivity due to stress conditions.Investigation revealed the presence of di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP),an environmental endocrine disruptor,in the serum and skin of captive FMDs.Feeding FMDs with maslinic acid(MA)has been observed to alleviate the stress response and improve reproductive rates,although the precise molecular mechanisms remain unclear.Therefore,this study aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the alleviation of DEHP-induced oxidative stress and cell apoptosis in primary peritubular myoid cells(PMCs)through MA intake.Primary PMCs were isolated and exposed to DEHP in vitro.The results demonstrated that DEHP significantly suppressed antioxidant levels and promoted cell apoptosis in primary PMCs.Moreover,interfering with the expression of PRDX6 was found to induce excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)production and cell apoptosis in primary PMCs.Supplementation with MA significantly upregulated the expression of PRDX6,thereby attenuating DEHP-induced oxidative stress and cell apoptosis in primary PMCs.These findings provide a theoretical foundation for mitigating stress levels and enhancing reproductive capacity of in captive FMDs.

Facile fabrication of graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4) for electromagnetic wave absorption

With the development of the miniaturization of electronic equipment and lightweight weapon equipment,there are new requirements for electromagnetic wave absorption material(EMWAM).EMWAM has outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption properties and lightweight characteristics become an important direction of research.In this study,graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4)(GGCN)EMWAM was first synthesized in situ by simple heat treatment,in which the g-C_(3)N_(4) had a porous structure and dispersed on the surface of graphene.The impedance matching of the GGCN was well adjusted by decreasing the dielectric constant and attenuation constant due to the g-C_(3)N_(4) semiconductor property and the graphite-like structure.The EMW loss mechanism of GGCN was also analyzed by simulating GGCN’s electric field mode distribution and resistance loss power density.The analysis result shows that the distribution of g-C_(3)N_(4) among GGCN sheets can produce more polarization effects and relaxation effects by increasing the lamellar spacing.Furthermore,the polarization loss of GGCN could be increased successfully by porous g-C_(3)N_(4).Ultimately,the EMW absorption property of GGCN is optimized significantly,and GGCN exhibits excellent EMW absorption performance.When the thickness is 2 mm,the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can reach 4.6 GHz,and when the thickness is 4.5 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)at 4.56 GHz can reach-34.69 dB.Moreover,the practical application of EMWAM was studied by radar cross-section(RCS)simulation,showing that GGCN has a good application prospect.

Congener-derived template to construct lithiophilic organic-inorganic layer/interphase for high volumetric capacity dendrite-free li metal batteries

The development of lithium-metal batteries(LMBs)is seriously restricted by the out-of-control dendrites growth and infinite volume expansion.herein,a pervasive organic-inorganic layer construction strategy is reported for the composite lithium metal anode with congener-derived organic-inorganic solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).In this strategy,the organic-inorganic Ag@polydopamine(Ag@PDA)layer is coated on the arbitrary substrates by a simple two-step method.The thin and stable congener-derived SEI is insitu formed with fewer inorganic components and more organic components during charging/discharging.The polydopamine with sufficient adhesion groups and lithiophilic Ag layer realize near-zero nucleation overpotential during lithium deposition.The low interface resistance and stable lithium deposition are achieved.Moreover,the practical areal and volumetric capacities of the composite anode with three-dimensional copper(3DCu)as the substrate are 10 mAh/cm^(2)and 1538 mAh/cm^3(vs.the mass of anode).The symmetrical cell shows very low polarization voltage(10 mV)and more than 2500 h cycles life at 1 mA/cm^(2)(1 mAh/cm^(2)).The liNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)-based full cells show improved capacity retention(82%)after 100 cycles at 0.5 C.The modified lithiophilic anode with congener-derived interphase provides a promising strategy to realize the next-generation dendrite-free LMBs.
