Vitreous microparticles contain apoptotic signals suggesting a diabetic vitreopathy

AIM:To evaluate differences in microparticle profiles in vitreous samples between diabetic and non-diabetic eyes undergoing ***:Un-masked cross-sectional series of 34 eyes undergoing *** specimens were collected and processed to evaluate for membrane integrity(DAPI),apoptosis(Annexin-V),and endothelial-cell origin(V-Cadherin).A BD LSR II flow cytometer was used for analysis and standardized sub-micron-sized beads were used for size ***:Thirty-four specimens underwent *** levels of Annexin-V were found on microparticles from specimens in which blood had entered the vitreous(n=12)compared to those without blood(n=22;52.3%±30.7%vs 19.6%±27.2%,P=0.002).Patients with diabetes having surgery with hemorrhage(n=7)had greater expression of Annexin-V than those without hemorrhage(n=8;62.1%±31.7%vs 18.9%±20.9%,P=0.009).However,in patients with non-diabetic vitreous hemorrhage,the level of Annexin-V expression was not significantly different compared to other disease processes(38.6%±25.7%,n=5 vs 20.0%±30.9%,n=14,P=0.087).CONCLUSION:Increased expression of the apoptotic marker,Annexin-V is detected on vitreous microparticles in diabetes-related vitreous *** evaluating vitreous hemorrhage in patients without diabetes,the apoptotic signal is not significantly *** in patients with diabetes,and improvement in visual outcomes,may be related to the removal of a serumderived,pro-apoptotic *** investigation is warranted in order to identify the molecular characteristics of microparticles that regulate disease.

Precision agriculture includes the optimum and adequate use of resources depending on several variables that govern crop *** agriculture offers a novel solution utilizing a systematic technique for current agricultural problems like balancing production and environmental *** control has become one of the significant problems in the agricultural *** traditional weed control,the entire field is treated uniformly by spraying the soil,a single herbicide dose,weed,and crops in the same *** more precise farming,robots could accomplish targeted weed treatment if they could specifically find the location of the dispensable plant and identify the weed *** may lessen by large margin utilization of agrochemicals on agricultural fields and favour sustainable *** study presents a harris Hawks Optimizer with Graph Convolutional Network based Weed Detection(HHOGCN-WD)technique for Precision *** HHOGCN-WD technique mainly focuses on identifying and classifying weeds for precision *** image pre-processing,the HHOGCN-WD model utilizes a bilateral normal filter(BNF)for noise *** addition,coupled convolutional neural network(CCNet)model is utilized to derive a set of feature *** detect and classify weed,the GCN model is utilized with the HHO algorithm as a hyperparameter optimizer to improve the detection *** experimental results of the HHOGCN-WD technique are investigated under the benchmark *** results indicate the promising performance of the presented HHOGCN-WD model over other recent approaches,with increased accuracy of 99.13%.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.
