Objective:To evaluate the predatory potential of the Odonata nymph on freshwater snails that serve as intermediate hosts for Schistosoma species(Bulinus truncatus and Biomphalaria alexandrina).methods:Observations on the searching,attacking and devouring of the two snail types with series of laboratory-based predation experiments,whose aims were to determine daily predation rate,differential predation,prey preference considering small-,mediumand large-sized snails were ***:Laboratory evaluation revealed that,the Odonata nymph could kill and consume the two intermediate *** number of snails consumed differed according to the snail type,size and *** times taken for searching and handling times were dependent on the snail size,type and satiation of the *** predation rate varied also with respect to snail type,size and *** study also evaluated that Odonata nymphs consumed more Bulinus truncatus than Biomphalaria alexandrina per unit time,and that there may be a preference for smaller than larger ***:According to our observation,the predator,Hemianax ephippiger nymph may be a suitable biocontrol agent in connection with Schistosoma intermediate hosts.

Objective: - To evaluate the applicability, feasibility, complications, short and long term results of vaginoplasty by using sigmoid colon graft with stapler assistance for resuming colonic continuity in children with absent vagina. Patients and methods: - Records of 15 patients 8 of them had Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, 4 had congenital vaginal atresia, and 3 had Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, underwent sigmoid graft vaginal reconstruction with the aid of circular stapler during the period from 2005 to 2010 were reviewed retrospectively. Results: A neovagina was constructed in those patients who aged from 3 to 9 years (mean 4 years), where sigmoid colon was used in all patients. Hospital stay ranged from 5 to 12 days (mean 7), operative time ranged from 60 to 120 min (mean 75 min). All patients were followed up 6 monthly in the first year and then yearly, complications occurred in 4 patients: introital stenosis in 2, and another 2 cases had minor wound infection. The need for neovaginal dilation was indicated in 5 out of 15 patients. There was no complications related to bowel anastomosis, No mortality in this group and the cosmetic results were excellent in all cases. Conclusion: Sigmoid colovaginoplasty appears to be applicable for remedy of vaginal atresia at any age. It is associated with a less complication rate, the long term results is satisfactory and it seems a better technique, especially in girls who doesn’t expect sexual activity shortly after surgery.

AIm： To observe the imbalance between T helper cell Th1 and Th2 cytokines in several chronic hepatitis disease at different stages of disease progression. mETHODS： We measured the cytokine levels of Thl （IL-2 and IL-2R）, Th2 （IL-10） and the pro-inflammatory cytokines （IL-6 and IL-6R and TNF and TNF-RI and II） by the ELISA technique in the sera of 33 hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） patients and 20 chronic liver disease （CLD） patients. In addition, 20 asymptomatic hepatitis C virus carriers and 20 healthy subjects negative for hepatitis C virus（HCV） markers served as controls. RESULTS： Anti-HCV antibodies were found to be positive in 94% of HCC cases and 75% of CLD cases. On the other hand, HCV viremia was detected using RT- PCR in 67% of HCC cases and 65% of CLD cases. HBsAg was positive in 9% of HCC cases and 30% of CLD cases. Also bilharziaI-Ab was positive in 55% of HCC cases, 65% of CLD cases and in 70% of asymptomatic carriers （ASC）. HCC patients had significantly higher values of IL- 2R, TNF-RII （P〈0.001）, and TNF-RI （P〉0.05）, but lower TNFα （P〈0.001） and IL-6 （P = 0.032） in comparison to ASC. But, in comparison to non-cancer controls, HCC patients had higher values of IL-2R, IL-6R, TNF-RI and TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. CLD patients had higher IL-2R, TNF-RI, and TNF-RII （P〈0.001） than ASC. But, in comparison to non-cancer controls, CLD patients had higher values of IL-2R, TNF-RI and TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. IL-10 was higher （though not significantly） in HCC and CLD patients than in symptomatic carriers and non-cancer controls. CONCLUSION： Liver disease progression from CLD to HCC due to HCV genotype-4 infection is associated with an imbalance between Th1 and Th2 cytokines. IL-2R, TNF-RI, and TNF-RII could be used as potential markers.

“义”的概念是《孟子》中提出的重要美德之一。本文关注孟子所说的“义”的实践意义,包括“义”与人际关系处理(与自己、与家庭以及与政治活动的关系);“义”作为德性(“四端”之中的“义”,“义”是外在还是内,“义”与“礼”的关系,“义”与“气”的关系,如何接受礼物才是遵循‘义’);以及“义”如何可以帮助解决当前社会面临的一些问题(包括政治问题、经济问题、分配公平问题、社会问题等等)。在《论语》中,孔子只被描述为教育家。他希望他的追随者成为能够为社会做出贡献的“全面的人”,因此他教给他们各种侧重于基本素质的科目。社会关系中的每个“名”都带有一系列的责任和义务。这些“名”包括君、臣、父、子、兄、弟等等,拥有这些头衔的人必须正确履行自己的角色和职责。这是对孔子正名学说的解释。孟子是东亚最受欢迎、最著名和最伟大的哲学家之一,在儒家学派的历史上,他发展了孔子在公元前6至5世纪创立并为中国人实践了两千年的人生哲学。虽然随着时间的推移,儒家学说发生了变化,但它仍然是中国教育的支柱和中国价值观的根源。孔孟重视以“义”的概念指导人与人、父子、兄弟、君臣的关系。本文将探讨孟子的“义”概念,以及实践“义”对人、家庭、国家和国家的意义。在《告子上》第10节中,孟子陈述了“义”对每个人的重要性。他举了一个例子,如果人有两个选择,“命”或“义”,只能选择一个,他将如何抉择?这种选择将反映和评估人类的行为。如果选择“义”,则不止要自己实践,还要必须和别人一起实践。如果选择“命”,则很可能不仅不实践“义”,还会假装实践“义”。《离娄下》中的齐人就是这样,他没有实践‘义’,反而跟妻妾假装自己有“义”,这就是小人的做法。小人会选择“命”,而君子的“义”就是命。在《尽心上》第15节中,他解释了“生而有之”的含义,即人类无需先前学习即可完成的事情或无需思考即可获得的知识。从这一点来说,可以说人类天生就有仁义。孝敬父母和尊重兄长是其表现。孟子也将孝敬父母称为仁,将尊敬长辈称为义。这意味着每个人都生来都有仁义,“义”作为“四端”之一(《公孙丑上》第6节),随着修炼而成长。孟子在《离娄下》第5节中描述了统治者对平民的影响。庶民随君而行。如果君王实践了“义”,平民就会实践“义”。普通人总是仰慕和效法处在高位的人。当孟子和告子争论人性时,他支持了这种平民跟随领导者的想法。《告子上》第6节提出,当百姓饥寒交迫时,王不能要求百姓仁义,首先,君王必须帮助平民在繁荣时期和匮乏时期都能获得最低限度的食物和衣服,关于“义”的修行将在人民经济安定后开始。如果统治者食用自己耕种的食物并与平民并肩工作,那么他是否正确实践了“义”?如果君子吃他自己种的粮食,穿他自己织的布,那么他是否正确地实践了“义”?关于这组问题,《滕文公上》第四节中,孟子在与陈良(许行的弟子)的讨论中给出的答案。他钦佩统治者能完成他的下属应该完成的任务,他也很钦佩陈良的老师许行,他以自己种植的庄稼为食,穿着短褐衣服,但若君子忙于耕作,君王忙于做饭,谁来管理百姓的事?谁在乎人的道德和教育?孟子告诉陈良,有两类人,用双手工作的人和用头脑工作的人,用头脑做事的人必须带领用双手做事的人,这样才能实现互利共赢。同时,这两种人之间的关系必须遵循“义”。为什么君子去见君王是不对的?孟子在《滕文公下》和《万章下》回答了这个问题。《滕文公下》中提到有种说法认为凡是见君王的人都必须同意君王的说法,使君王不怒,这其实不是正道。君子有道,如果他们看到国王放弃了道,他们必须询问并引导他回到道上。如果不是谢柳、段干木那样的紧急情况,君子是不愿见君王的。但是,如果君子担任大臣,他必须去朝廷做他的工作。君子之间的尊重,必须是相互的、平等的。孔子不在的时候,阳货送他礼物,孔子并没有直接去拜见阳货,而是一直等到阳货出门(才去回礼)。孟子和万章之间的另一场争论是关于统治者召见读书人的原因。万章认为,君王召见读书人的原因是他受人尊敬、见多识广。孟子拒绝了这个论点,因为如果读书人是值得和知识渊博的,那么君主怎么能召唤他?学习者应该尊重老师。在《离娄上》第27节中,孟子概述了各种美德的重要性。他首先解释说,为父母服务是最高层次的“仁”。其次是'义',如果弟弟跟随并尊重他的哥哥,那就是“义”。在我看来,以仁为本,就是立德之本。如果这个人不是人,就不需要美德。人若不仁,勿行“义”,无礼无智。根据孟子的理论,在“仁”之后,“义”是第二重要的美德。这就是说,如果一个人有仁,但不运用“义”,他将无法获得礼节和智慧。仁、义、智、礼,发于人之四肢,生于四端之心。四肢会随着时间而增长,但四端不会。你必须找到一种技术来培育和种植它们(《公孙丑上》第6节)。如果这个人成功地培植了“四端”,他会在他所说的一切中遵循它们。他采取的每一个行动都会跟随他们。,没有人能阻止他。但是,如果他不这样做,他将

Securing medical data while transmission on the network is required because it is sensitive and life-dependent *** methods are used for protection,such as Steganography,Digital Signature,Cryptography,and *** paper introduces a novel robust algorithm that combines discrete wavelet transform(DWT),discrete cosine transform(DCT),and singular value decomposition(SVD)digital image-watermarking *** host image is decomposed using a two-dimensional DWT(2D-DWT)to approximate low-frequency sub-bands in the embedding *** the sub-band low-high(LH)is decomposed using 2D-DWT to four new *** resulting sub-band low-high(LH1)is decomposed using 2D-DWT to four new *** frequency bands,high-high(HH_(2))and high-low(HL_(2)),are transformed by DCT,and then the SVD is applied to the DCT *** strongest modified singular values(SVs)vary very little for most attacks,which is an important property of SVD *** two watermark images are encrypted using two layers of encryption,circular and chaotic encryption techniques,to increase *** first encrypted watermark is embedded in the S component of the DCT components of the HL_(2)*** second encrypted watermark is embedded in the S component of the DCT components of the HH2 *** suggested technique has been tested against various attacks and proven to provide excellent stability and imperceptibility results.

Graphene based nanosheets have been widely used as building blocks for fabrication of superior separation membrane for water *** particular,membranes made of reduced graphene oxide(rGO)show better stability compared with graphene oxide(GO).However,densely stacked of rGO often results in low water *** this study,cellulose nanofibers(CNFs)were incorporated into the rGO laminates by vacuum filtration of dilute GO/CNF solution and thermal reduction at 150C for 1.5 *** resulting rGO/CNF membrane was treated with oxygen plasma for 1–4 min to create nanopores on the membrane surface for the purpose of enhancing nano-filtration *** results showed that the optimum membrane performance was obtained by using the equal amount of GO(31.83 mg m^(-2))and CNFs accompanied by 3 min of plasma treatment,exhibiting a pure water permeance of 37.23.9 L m^(-2)h^(-1)bar^(-1)maintaining a rejection above 90%for Acid Fuchsin(1.2×1.1 nm),Rose Bengal(1.5×1.2 nm)and Brilliant Blue(2.2×1.7 nm).

The experimental investigations in this paper are focused on the study of luminous radiation emission from coaxial plasma discharge device and the effect of applied transverse magnetic field Btr on it. The experiment was done in (1.5 KJ - 10 KV) coaxial plasma discharge device. The discharge is operated in Nitrogen gas at pressures from 1 to 2.2 torr. Helmholtz magnetic coils are placed outside the coaxial electrodes with its axis at a distance = 3 cm from the coaxial electrodes muzzle, then Btr with a maximum induction ≈ 0.85 T is applied perpendicularly to the expanded plasma from the coaxial electrodes muzzle. The diagnostics used in the measurements include a Rogowsky coil and a photomultiplier tube equipped with light collimator. The experimental results showed that the maximum intensity of luminous radiation is detected at axial distance (side view) z = 8 cm and gas pressure, P = 2.2 torr. It also showed that the maximum value of axial luminous plasma zone velocity = 2.383 × 106 cm/s at z = 11 cm and P = 1.4 torr. In mode of presence of external Btr, the investigations have shown that, at P = 1.4 torr the maximum intensity of luminous radiation (detected at end-view position) is reduced by 17%, the full width at half maximum, FWHm of luminous radiation signal is increased by 40 times, while the luminous radiation signal is delayed by ta = 438 μs. In two modes of operation ta and FWHm have approximately a minimum values at P = 1.4 torr.

Influences of Ridge Width and Foliar Spraying of Amino Acids Compounds on Yield and Quality of Two Faba Bean Cultivars

A two-year study was carried out at the Agricultural Experiments and Research Station, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, during 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 seasons to evaluate seed yield and quality of two faba bean cultivars to different rates of amino acids compounds under narrow and wide ridges. Two faba bean cultivars Sakha 1 and masr 3 were grown in two ridge widths 60 and 120 cm and received five rates of amino acids compounds (Power mix at rates 1.5 cm⋅L−1 “Pm1” and 3.0 cm⋅L−1 “Pm2”, Super mix at rates of 3.5 cm⋅L−1 “Sm1” and 7.0 cm⋅L−1 “Sm2”, as well as, water only “control treatment”). The treatments laid out in a split split plot distribution in randomized complete blocks design in three replications were used. Ridge width was randomly assigned to the main plots, faba bean cultivars were allocated in sub-plots and amino acids compounds were allocated in sub sub-plots. Shoot chemical composition and photosynthesis pigments, as well as, chemical composition in seed traits of faba bean were tested in the laboratories of Plant Physiology Section, Agricultural Botany Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. Wide ridge had higher nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), total sugars and total free amino acids concentrations in faba bean shoot and seeds in addition to chlorophyll a (Chl a) and chlorophyll b (Chl b) in faba bean shoot, as well as, most seed yield attributes than those of the narrow one. Faba bean cultivar Sakha 1 had higher values of seed yield, yield attributes and quality than masr 3 that achieved higher seed antioxidants. Also, amino acids compounds affected significantly all studied traits of faba bean plants. Pm2 recorded the highest values of chemical composition in faba bean shoot and seeds. moreover, Pm2 gave the highest seed yield and yield attributes compared to others. With the increase of heat transfer problems in marine vehicles and submerged power stations in oceans,the search for an efficient finned-tube heat exchanger has become particularly *** purpose of the present investigation is to analyze and compare the thermal exchange and flow characteristics between five different fin designs,namely:a concentric circular finned-tube(CCFT),an eccentric circular finned-tube(ECFT),a perforated circular finned-tube(PCFT),a serrated circular finned-tube(SCFT),and a star-shaped finned-tube(S-SFT).The fin design and spacing impact on the thermal-flow performance of a heat exchanger was computed at Reynolds numbers varying from 4,300 to 15,*** the numerical results,and when the fin spacing has been changed from 2 to 7 mm,an enhancement in the Colburn factor and a reduction in the friction factor and fin performances were observed for all cases under *** criteria were checked to select the most efficient fin design:the performance evaluation criterion P EC,the global performance criterion G PC,and the mass global performance criterion m G *** the value of Reynolds number,the conventional CCFT provided the lowest performance evaluation criterion P EC,while the SCFT gave the highest amount of P *** most significant value of G PC was reached with the ECFT;however,G PC remained almost the same for CCFT,PCFT,SCFT,and *** terms of the mass global performance criterion,the S-SFT provides the highest m Gpc as compared with the full fins of CCFT(41-73%higher)and ECFT(29-54%higher).Thus,the heat exchanger with S-SFT is recommended to be used in the cooling of offshore energy systems.
