Graphene based nanosheets have been widely used as building blocks for fabrication of superior separation membrane for water *** particular,membranes made of reduced graphene oxide(rGO)show better stability compared with graphene oxide(GO).However,densely stacked of rGO often results in low water *** this study,cellulose nanofibers(CNFs)were incorporated into the rGO laminates by vacuum filtration of dilute GO/CNF solution and thermal reduction at 150C for 1.5 *** resulting rGO/CNF membrane was treated with oxygen plasma for 1–4 min to create nanopores on the membrane surface for the purpose of enhancing nano-filtration *** results showed that the optimum membrane performance was obtained by using the equal amount of GO(31.83 mg m^(-2))and CNFs accompanied by 3 min of plasma treatment,exhibiting a pure water permeance of 37.23.9 L m^(-2)h^(-1)bar^(-1)maintaining a rejection above 90%for Acid Fuchsin(1.2×1.1 nm),Rose Bengal(1.5×1.2 nm)and Brilliant Blue(2.2×1.7 nm).

Next-generation cellular networks are expected to provide users with innovative gigabits and terabits per second speeds and achieve ultra-high reliability,availability,and ultra-low *** requirements of such networks are the main challenges that can be handled using a range of recent technologies,including multi-access edge computing(MEC),artificial intelligence(AI),millimeterwave communications(mmWave),and software-defined *** aspects and design challenges associated with the MEC-based 5G/6G networks should be solved to ensure the required quality of service(QoS).This article considers developing a complex MEC structure for fifth and sixth-generation(5G/6G)cellular ***,we propose a seamless migration technique for complex edge computing *** developed migration scheme enables services to adapt to the required load on the radio *** proposed algorithm is analyzed for various use cases,and a test bench has been developed to emulate the operator’s *** obtained results are introduced and discussed.

A simple and sensitive kinetic spectrophotometric method has been developed and validated for determination of amlodipine besylate （AML）. The method was based on the condensation reaction of AML with 7-chloro-4-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole in an alkaline buffer （pH 8.6） producing a highly colored product. The color development was monitored spectrophometrically at the maximum absorption λmax 470 nm. The factors affecting the reaction were studied and the conditions were optimized. The stoichiometry of the reaction was determined, and the reaction pathway was postulated. Moreover, both the activation energy and the specific rate constant （at 70 ℃） of the reaction were found to be 6.74 kcal mole-1 and 3.58 s -1, respectively. The initial rate and fixed time methods were utilized for constructing the calibration graphs lbr the determination of AML concentration. Under the optimum reaction conditions, the limits of detection and quantification were 0.35 and 1.05 ug/mL, respectively. The precision of the method was satisfactory; the relative standard deviations were 0.85-1.76%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of AML in its pure form and tablets with good accuracy; the recovery percentages ranged from 99.55 ± 1.69% to 100.65 ±1.48%. The results were compared with that of the reported method.

The glass system xBi2O3-(30 – x)CdO-10B2O3-20Fe2O3-40P2O5 (0 ≤ x ≤ 30 weight %), has been prepared by the melt quenching technique. The thermal stability of the glasses, their hardness as well as their chemical durability have been investigated before and after subjecting to different gamma ray doses to insure the validity of this glass system for application to the problem of the permanent disposal for nuclear wastes. The results indicated that the glasses have well to excellent chemical durability, thermal stability and hardness with increasing Bi2O3 content on the expense of CdO, and that the effect of irradiation with gamma doses is very small.

Molecular mechanisms of the anti-obesity potential effect of Moringa oleifera in the experimental model

The quality of five commercial naphthalene sulfonated superplasticizers are assessed on the basis of DTA, EDAX, XRD, FTIR and HPLC methods of analyses, as well as their chemical and physical properties. The slump behavior of Portland cements with varying C3 A/C4 AF ratio is determined using the five admixtures. For the superplasticized concrete, the slump loss, initial setting time and up to 90-day compressive strength values are reported. It is found that, the polymer characteristics of the superplasticizers affect greatly the workability of the cement pastes and concrete. Also increasing the ferrite content in cement leads to the elimination of the differences of the polymer characteristics and causes a good fluidity of the pastes irrespective of the quality of the superplasticizer.

Objective: To elucidate the molecular mechanisms of the potent anti-obesity effect of Moringa oleifera Lam.(M. oleifera) ethanolic extract and to clarify the link between these mechanisms and the associated metabolic and vascular risks in the experimental model of visceral ***: M. oleifera ethanolic extract was orally administered at 600 mg/kg body weight in obese female rats daily for 12 weeks. At the end of treatment, body weight was determined, and the atherogenic index, coronary artery index, glucose level, insulin resistance status, liver and kidney functions were assessed. Also, the m RNA of leptin, adiponectin and resistin in visceral adipose tissue was determined by quantitative real ***: The results showed that M. oleifera extract down-regulated m RNA expression of leptin and resistin, while it up-regulated adiponectin gene expression in obese rats relative to untreated obese control counterparts. This amelioration of genes expression was paralleled by a reduction in body weight and improvement of the atherogenic index and coronary artery index, as well as glucose level and insulin resistance value without adverse effects on liver or kidney functions, versus the untreated obese control ***: It is reasonable to assume that the anti-obesity, anti-atherogenic and antidiabetic properties of M. oleifera are mechanistically achieved via working directly on the adipokines of the visceral adipose tissue. Therefore, M. oleifera may be a good therapeutic candidate for the symptoms of metabolic syndrome.

The probabilities for the technology to be spoofed are widely acknowledged in biometric verification system. Important efforts have been conducted to study such threats and to develop countermeasures to direct attacks to the biometric verification system to ensure the security of these systems against spoof attacks and reduce this risk, by using another module that is added to the biometric verification system called the “liveness detection” which uses different anatomical properties to distinguish between real and fake traits. Thus, the robustness of the system against direct attacks can be improved through increasing the security level offered to the final user. This paper is an attempt to construct support biometric security system to protect the iris biometric verification system from spoof attacks, through integrating the iris verification system with addition module called liveness detection which composed of two sub-modules (static and dynamic). A test has been performed, for iris verification phase performed on two types of database (MMU DB) for 180 samples and (CASIA DB) for 90 samples, and gave accuracy (99.44%) with FAR of (0.0277) and FRR (0.0055) for MMU DB, and accuracy (97.77%) with FAR of (0.0333) and FRR (0.0222) for CASIA DB.

The object of the present study is to measure the concentrations of toxic heavy metals in human eyes (cadimium and chromium) and major mineral iron ion. The heavy metals cadimium, chromium and iron were assayed using atomic absorption spectrometry. Metals determination in human eye is the most common application of biological monitoring for screening diagnosis and assessment of metals exposures and their risks. The statistical analysis of the metals (cadimium, chromium and iron) levels in human eyes showed that levels of the three metals in non-smoker were lower than metals contents of the smoker groups. Metals levels in human eyes of males were significantly lower than females. Statistically significant differences (p < 0.001) were observed between persons living in city centre and others who living in outskirt for concentrations of all three metals. Geographical influences are thought to be the main source of variability.

The Hamilton-Jacobi formalism is used to discuss the path integral quantization of the double supersymmetric models with the spinning superparticle in the component and superfield form. The equations of motion are obtained as total differential equations in many variables. The equations of motion are integrable, and the path integral is obtained as an integration over the canonical phase space coordinates.

Aim:Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a devastating neurological disorder and the most common form of *** date,the cause of AD eludes us,but a number of hypotheses have been put forward to try and understand the mechanisms involved.A series of studies have indicated that environmental factors,such as pesticides,heavy metals,and others can contribute to the development and progression of *** on these data,we determined the impact of pesticides(chlorpyrifos oxon[CPO])on AD‑like pathogenesis in amyloid precursor protein(APP)transgenic ***:APP mice were treated at various times with low‑dose CPO(1 mg/kg/day),in utero(3‑week of gestation),during lactation(3‑week),or as young adults(continuous dosing).Results:Exposure to CPO at all times enhanced neuro‑inflammation and exacerbated oxidative stress in the brain prior to amyloid ***‑treated APP mice showed a decrease in memory and learning compared with untreated APP mice;furthermore,analyses of brain tissue sections and extracts showed an increase in Aβ levels and C‑terminal fragment‑βlevels,a decrease in soluble APPα(sAPPα)levels,and an increase in plaque *** addition,CPO‑treated APP transgenic mice showed a significant decrease in neurotrophic factor levels(nerve growth factor,brain‑derived neurotrophic factor,and neurotrophin‑3)compared to vehicle‑treated APP transgenic *** with galantamine attenuated the effects of CPO by reducing amyloidβlevels and amyloid ***:CPO accelerated and exacerbated the disease development and progression in the APP mice suggesting that pesticides may play a significant role in the pathogenesis of AD.
