As big data,its technologies,and application continue to advance,the Smart Grid(SG)has become one of the most successful pervasive and fixed computing platforms that efficiently uses a data-driven approach and employs efficient information and communication technology(ICT)and cloud *** a result of the complicated architecture of cloud computing,the distinctive working of advanced metering infrastructures(AMI),and the use of sensitive data,it has become challenging tomake the SG *** of the SG are categorized into two main categories,Technical Losses(TLs)and Non-Technical Losses(NTLs).Hardware failure,communication issues,ohmic losses,and energy burnout during transmission and propagation of energy are ***’s are human-induced errors for malicious purposes such as attacking sensitive data and electricity theft,along with tampering with AMI for bill reduction by fraudulent *** research proposes a data-driven methodology based on principles of computational intelligence as well as big data analysis to identify fraudulent customers based on their load *** our proposed methodology,a hybrid Genetic Algorithm and Support Vector Machine(GA-SVM)model has been used to extract the relevant subset of feature data from a large and unsupervised public smart grid project dataset in London,UK,for theft detection.A subset of 26 out of 71 features is obtained with a classification accuracy of 96.6%,compared to studies conducted on small and limited datasets.

Control charts(CCs)are one of the main tools in Statistical Process Control that have been widely adopted in manufacturing sectors as an effective strategy for malfunction detection throughout the previous *** errors(M.E’s)are involved in the quality characteristic of interest,which can effect the CC’s *** authors explored the impact of a linearmodel with additive covariate M.E on the multivariate cumulative sum(CUSUM)CC for a specific kind of data known as compositional data(CoDa).The average run length(ARL)is used to assess the performance of the proposed *** results indicate that M.E’s significantly affects themultivariate *** authors haveused theMarkov chainmethod to study the impact of different involved parameters using six different cases for the variance-covariance matrix(VCM)(i.e.,uncorrelated with equal variances,uncorrelated with unequal variances,positively correlated with equal variances,positively correlated with unequal variances,negatively correlatedwith equal variances and negatively correlated with unequal variances).The authors concluded that the error VCM has a negative impact on the performance of themultivariate CUSUM-CoDa CC,as the ARL increases with an increase in the value of the error *** subgroup size m and powering operator b positively impact the proposed CC,as the ARL decreases with an increase in m or *** number of variables p also has a negative impact on the performance of the proposed CC,as the values of ARL increase with an increase in *** the implementation of the proposal,two illustrated examples have been reported formultivariate CUSUM-CoDaCCs inthe presence ofM.E’*** themanufacturingprocessof uncoated aspirin tablets,and the other is based on monitoring the machines involved in the muesli manufacturing process.

Bone grinding is an essential and vital procedure in most surgical ***,the insufficient cooling capacity of dry grinding,poor visibility of drip irrigation surgery area,and large grinding force leading to high grinding temperature are the technical bottlenecks of micro-grinding.A new micro-grinding process called ultrasonic vibration-assisted nanoparticle jet mist cooling(U-NJMC)is innovatively proposed to solve the technical *** combines the advantages of ultrasonic vibration(UV)and nanoparticle jet mist cooling(NJMC).Notwithstanding,the combined effect of multi parameter collaborative of U-NJMC on cooling has not been *** grinding force,friction coefficient,specific grinding energy,and grinding temperature under dry,drip irrigation,UV,minimum quantity lubrication(MQL),NJMC,and U-NJMC micro-grinding were compared and *** showed that the minimum normal grinding force and tangential grinding force of U-NJMC micro-grinding were 1.39 and 0.32 N,which were 75.1%and 82.9%less than those in dry grinding,*** minimum friction coefficient and specific grinding energy were achieved using *** with dry,drip,UV,MQL,and NJMC grinding,the friction coefficient of U-NJMC was decreased by 31.3%,17.0%,19.0%,9.8%,and 12.5%,respectively,and the specific grinding energy was decreased by 83.0%,72.7%,77.8%,52.3%,and 64.7%,*** with UV or NJMC alone,the grinding temperature of U-NJMC was decreased by 33.5%and 10.0%,*** results showed that U-NJMC provides a novel approach for clinical surgical micro-grinding of biological bone.

The structural, electronic, mechanical, and thermal properties of Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Os metals and their alloys PtPdX （X = Ir, Os and Rh） are studied systematically using ab initio density functional theory. The groundstate properties such as lattice constant and bulk modulus are calculated to find the equilibrium atomic position for stable alloys. The electronic band structure and density of states are calculated to study the electronic behavior of metals on making their alloys. The electronic properties substantiate the metallic behavior for all studied materials. The firstprinciples density functional perturbation theory as implemented in quasi-harmonic approximation is used for the calculations of thermal properties. We have calculated the thermal properties such as the Debye temperature, vibrational energy, entropy and constant-volume specific heat. The calculated properties are compared with the previously reported experimental and theoretical data for metals and are found to be in good agreement. Calculated results for alloys could not be compared because there is no data available in the literature with such alloy composition.

It is an inevitable trend of sustainable manufacturing to replace flood and dry machining with minimum quantity lubrication(MQL)***,for aeronautical difficult-tomachine materials,MQL couldn’t meet the high demand of cooling and lubrication due to high heat generation during ***-biolubricants,especially non-toxic carbon group nano-enhancers(CGNs)are used,can solve this technical ***,the machining mechanisms under lubrication of CGNs are unclear at complex interface between tool and workpiece,which characterized by high temperature,pressure,and speed,limited its application in factories and necessitates in-depth *** fill this gap,this study concentrates on the comprehensive quantitative assessment of tribological characteristics based on force,tool wear,chip,and surface integrity in titanium alloy and nickel alloy machining and attempts to answer mechanisms ***,to establish evaluation standard,the cutting mechanisms and performance improvement behavior covering antifriction,antiwear,tool failure,material removal,and surface formation of MQL were ***,the unique film formation and lubrication behaviors of CGNs in MQL turning,milling,and grinding are *** influence law of molecular structure and micromorphology of CGNs was also answered and optimized options were recommended by considering diverse boundary ***,in view of CGNs limitations in MQL,the future development direction is proposed,which needs to be improved in thermal stability of lubricant,activity of CGNs,controllable atomization and transportation methods,and intelligent formation of processing technology solutions.
