No. Co. and No. gas mo.ecules is (5,0) CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio. th.o.gh.fo.ming C-N bo.ds with.adso.ptio. energy o. -0.26, -0.41 eV, -0.33 and -0.63 eV, respectively. Also. th. adso.ptio. o. Co. No. Co. and No. gas mo.ecules o. (5,5) and (6,6) CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s do.s no. affect th. electro.ic ch.racter o. th. CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s, h.wever th. adso.ptio. o. No.and No. gas mo.ecules o. (5,0) and (9,0)CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s in case o. fo.ming C-B bo.ds increases th. band gaps to.1.21 eV and 1.52 eV, respectively. In additio., it is repo.ted th.t th. values o. dipo.e mo.ent fo. armch.ir (5,5) and (6,6) CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s are no. affected by gas adso.ptio.. Also. fo. th. zig-zag (5,0) and (9,0) CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s, th. values o. dipo.e mo.ent increase th.o.gh.fo.ming C-N bo.ds and decrease th.o.gh.fo.ming C-B bo.ds. In additio., it is repo.ted th.t th. h.gh.st dipo.e mo.ent is o.tained fo. (9,0) CNT-BNNT h.tero.unctio.s. Its structure pro.ided a new interesting example o. infinite ino.ganic layers o. [CdCl3（h.o.]n n- centered by （-101） planes. Th. [CdCl5（h.o.]- anio.s were interco.nected by o.h...Cl h.dro.en bo.ds. Acidic pro.o.s o. th. ch.o.ide gro.p were transferred to.th. o.ganic mo.ecule, giving th. singly-pro.o.ated catio.s.
