Forest edges h.ve been well studied in temperate and tropical forests,but less so in open canopy *** investigated edge influence on plant species diversity and soil properties in sparse oak forest *** were collected along th.ee transects from th. edge to th. interior of th.ee small(under 10 h.)and th.ee large(over 10 h.)oak forest fragments in Kermansh.h.Province,*** measured h.rbaceous plants(h.igh.)and soil attributes at 0(forest edge),25,50,100 and 150 *** quantified species diversity using th. Sh.nnon index,used rarefaction to compare species rich.ess between two different sizes of fragments and applied non-metric multidimensional scaling ordination to investigate th. variation in species *** estimated th. distance of edge influence using randomization *** linear mixed models with.post-h.c Tukey’s h.D tests were used to assess th. effects of distance from edge and fragment size on diversity and soil *** found greater species rich.ess,diversity and evenness at th. edge of both.small and large fragments and lower nitrogen and organic carbon at th. edge compared to th. interior of large fragments,with.most ch.nges with.n 50 m of th. *** composition,organic carbon and total nitrogen were significantly different between small and large *** findings of significant edge influence on h.rbaceous plants and soil properties in th.se sparse forests provide a significant contribution to th. literature on edges,especially in relation to h.rbaceous plants.

Biph.sic calcium ph.sph.te （BCP） nanopowders were synth.sized by using microwave and non-microwave irradiation assisted processes. Th. synth.sized powders were pressed under a pressure of 90 MPa, and th.n were sintered at 1000-1200℃ for 1 h. Th. mech.nical properties of th. samples were investigated. Th. formed ph.ses and microstructures were ch.racterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. Th. results sh.wed th.t th. synth.sis time was sh.rter, along with.a more h.mogeneous microstructure, wh.n th. microwave irradiation assisted meth.d was applied. Th. compression strength.and th. Young＇s modulus of th. samples synth.sized with.microwave irradiation were about 60 MPa and 3 GPa, but th.se of th. samples synth.sized with.ut microwave irradiation were about 30 MPa and 2 GPa, respectively. XRD patterns of th. microwave irradiation assisted and non-microwave irradiation assisted nanopowders sh.wed th. coexistence of h.droxyapatite （h.） and lricalcium ph.sph.te （TCP） ph.ses in th. system.

AIM. To evaluate th. serologic IgG response to h.ylori and CagA across age groups and in h.alth. ch.ldren and adults.METh.DS： Totally, 386 ch.ldren aged 1-15 years and 200 adults aged 20-60 years, were enrolled to study. Th. serum samples of participant were tested for presence of antJ-h.ylori and anti-CagA IgG by using ELISA meth.d.RESULTS： Th. seroprevalence of h.ylori in adults was significantly h.gh.r th.n th.t observed in ch.ldren （67.5% vs 46.6%; P 〈 0.000003）. In ch.ldren, th. seropositivity rate in males （51.9%） was significantly （P 〈 0.05） h.gh.r th.n th.t observed in females （41.7%）. Th. prevalence of serum anti-CagA antibody was 72.8% and 67.4% in infected ch.ldren and adults, respectively. Th. mean titer of serum anti-CagA antibodies was significantly h.gh.r among ch.ldren in comparison to adults （64.1 Uarb/mL 30.7; P 〈 0.03）. In infected ch.ldren and adults th. prevalence of serum anti-CagA antibody was h.gh.r in males compared to females （78.4% vs 66.3%; P = 0.07 and 75.6% vs 54.71%; P 〈 0.04, respectively）. Th. age-specific prevalence of anti-h.py/or/and anti-CagA antibody （in infected subjects） was 37.6% and 59.57% at age 1-5 years, 46.9% and 75% at age 6-10 years, 54.9% and 79.45% at age 11-15, 59.01% and 83.33% at age 20-30 years, 66.6% and 60.52% at age 31-40 years, 73.46% and 63.88% at age 41-50 years and 75.75% and 60% at age 51-60 years with.mean titer of anti-CagA antibody of 75.94, 63.32, 57.11, 52.06, 23.62, 21.52 and 21.80 Uarb/mL, respectively. Th.re was significant difference between mean serum anti-CagA antibody in age subgroups （P 〈 0.001）.CONCLUSION： Th.se results sh.wed th.t anti-h.ylori and anti-CagA antibodies were common in th. ch.ldren and adults. Th. h.ylori-specific antibodies influenced by age and sex of subjects. Moreover, it seems th.t males are more susceptible to infection with.CagA^＋ strains compared to females. Th.s pilot study evaluated effectiveness and acceptance of a new h.spital-based reproductive endocrinology curriculum among Iranian medical students. A voluntary, anonymous questionnaire was used to compare two teach.ng meth.ds as applied to junior medical students at Teh.an University of Medical Sciences. Students were randomly assigned to one of two clinical teach.ng settings;no student experienced both.modules. Coursework for th. pilot (experimental) group (n = 19) utilized a teach.ng approach.comprising lectures, genetics laboratory, pelvic ultrasound, small group sessions, and opportunities to observe advanced reproductive tech.ologies such.as in vitro fertilization, ICSI, and embryo transfer. A control group (n = 34) received reproductive endocrinology instruction by th. ‘traditional curriculum’, consisting mainly of lectures. Students were sampled at baseline and again atth. conclusion of th.ir reproductive endocrinology session. Pre- and post-test data were analyzed for both.groups;post-test differences between groups were also compared. No significant differences in mean age or gender mix were identified between th. two study groups. Overall, th. ques- tionnaire did not identify any significant intergroup differences for any parameter investigated. Alth.ugh.student acceptance rate appeared similar for both.educational modules, th. ratio of students h.ving a “favorable regard” for reproductive medicine declined only among students randomized to th. control group (41.2% vs. 32.3%). Th.s report offers th. first data on teach.ng reproductive endocrinology to medical students in Iran. Both.traditional and innovative approach.s to teach.ng reproductive endocrinology were well-accepted by students, alth.ugh.negative post-test responses were more common among students in th. control group. Objective:To investigate th. reproductive performance and milk quality to nutrition pre-pubertal plane in Kurdish.female ***: Forty Kurdish.female kids [aged (28.0±6.6) d and weigh.ed (7.56±1.10) kg] were assigned randomly in pre-weaning period to one of two practical diets: low quality diet (LQD) [87 g CP/kg dray matter (DM) and 2.02 Mcal ME/kg DM], and h.gh.quality diet (h.D), (148 g CP/kg DM and 2.50 Mcal ME/kg DM). At weaning, from each.group, one h.lf of kids was separated randomly and allocated to LQD or h.D. Consequently, in post-weaning period, th.re were four treatment groups including: LQD pre and post-weaning (L-L), control group and LQD pre-weaning and h.D post-weaning (L-h.;h.D pre-weaning and LQD post-weaning (h.L), h.D pre- and post-weanin (h.h.. From 30 to 180 d of age, body weigh. and DM intake were determined every 2 ***:Results sh.wed th.t th. h.D treatment enh.nced body weigh. and DM intake during pre-weaning period, in comparison with.th. Th. lossy nature of indium tin oxide(ITO) at epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) wavelength.is used to design an electrically tunable metasurface absorber. Th. metasurface unit cell is constructed of a circular resonator comprising two ITO discs and a h.gh.dielectric constant perovskite barium strontium titanate(BST) film. Th. ENZ wavelength.in th. accumulation and depletion layers of ITO discs is controlled by applying a single bias voltage. Th. coupling of magnetic dipole resonance with.th. ENZ wavelength.inside th. accumulation layer of ITO film causes total absorption of reflected ligh.. Th. reflection amplitude can ach.eve ~84 d B or ~99.99% modulation depth.in th. operation wavelength.of 820 nm at a bias voltage of-2.5 V. Moreover, th. metasurface is insensitive to th. polarization of th. incident ligh. due to th. circular design of resonators and th. symmetrical design of bias connections.

Th. increase of satellite’s dimensions h.s caused flexibility and formation of uncertainty in th.ir model. Th.s is because of space missions being more complex and using ligh. moving structures in satellites. Satellites are also encountered with.various circumferential disturbance torques. Th.s uncertainty in model and disturbance torques will cause undesirable performance of satellites’ attitude control system. So, for attitude control of th.se satellites, th.se meth.ds sh.uld be used wh.ch.are robust to uncertainty of th. plant’s model and can reject th. effects of disturbances and th. measurement noise. One of th.se meth.ds is th. robust control design meth.d. But, because of pole’s place of th.se satellite’s dynamics equations, th. designing procedure of robust control will face difficulties. In th.s paper, by using an internal feedback as a novel idea, th. satellite’s dynamics equations are ch.nged in such.a way th.t th. poles will be placed in proper locations. Th.n, for th.se new equations, by regarding th. effects of flexibility as uncertainty and considering th. uncertainty in inertia matrix of satellite, an h. controller h.s been designed and for better performance, a μ-controller h.s been improved. Afterwards, th.se two controllers are analyzed and compared for th. original dynamic equations, not for th. modified ones. Also, for comparison, a classic controller h.s been also designed for th. original plant and eventually all th.se th.ee controllers are compared with.each.oth.r.

用格子Boltzmann方法,数值研究流过前后排列两旋转圆柱体的二维层流.用二阶精度的速度场和温度场,数值化涉及运动的曲线边界.在Reynolds数为100,Prandtl数为0.71时,研究旋转速度比的变化和不同间距的影响.在4种不同间距(3,1.5,0.7,0.2)下,研究旋转速度比的不同范围.结果表明,当间距取大数值时,第1个圆柱体的升力和阻力系数,与单个圆柱体相类似;对所有间距(除间距3以外),第2个圆柱体的升力系数,随着角速度的增加而减小,而阻力系数反而增加.圆柱体表面平均周期Nusselt数的结果表明,当两圆柱体间距小且角速度又低时,热传导是主要的传热机理,而当间距大且角速度又高时,对流是主要的传热机理.
