h.gh.quality medical microscopic images used for diseases detection are expensive and difficult to ***,low-resolution images are favorable due to th.ir low storage space and ease of sh.ring,wh.re th. images can be enlarged wh.n needed using Super-Resolution(SR)***,it is important to maintain th. sh.pe and size of th. medical images wh.le enlarging *** of th. problems facing SR is th.t th. performance of medical image diagnosis is very poor due to th. deterioration of th. reconstructed image ***,th.s paper suggests a multi-SR and classification framework based on Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)to generate h.gh.resolution images with.h.gh.r quality and finer details to reduce *** proposed framework comprises five GAN models:Enh.nced SR Generative Adversarial Networks(ESRGAN),Enh.nced deep SR GAN(EDSRGAN),Sub-Pixel-GAN,SRGAN,and Efficient Wider Activation-B GAN(WDSR-b-GAN).To train th. proposed models,we h.ve employed images from th. famous Breakh.s dataset and enlarged th.m by 4×and 16×upscale factors with.th. ground truth.of th. size of 256×256×***,several evaluation metrics like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Mean Squared Error(MSE),Structural Similarity Index(SSIM),Multiscale Structural Similarity Index(MS-SSIM),and h.stogram are applied to make compreh.nsive and objective comparisons to determine th. best meth.ds in terms of efficiency,training time,and storage *** obtained results reveal th. superiority of th. proposed models over traditional and bench.ark models in terms of color and texture restoration and detection by ach.eving an accuracy of 99.7433%.

Using Environmentally Friendly h.drogels to Alleviate th. Negative Impact of Drough. on Plant

Th. use of natural h.drogels in agriculture provides solutions to many problems with.ut th.eatening th. environment. Th.s study aims to evaluate th. potential impact of environmentally friendly h.drogels (pectin, starch.and pectin + starch. in reducing th. negative effects of drough. stress on tomato yield and quality. Two different peels (orange peel and banana peel) are used to prepare environmentally friendly h.drogels. Th. water retention efficiency of h.drogels h.s been studied. Greenh.use experiment for tomato under drough. stress was conducted during 2019. Th.se h.drogels were used under several level of irrigation (100%, 75%, and 50% FC), soil with.ut h.drogel was used as a control. Th. results sh.wed th.t th. eco-friendly h.drogels (starch. pectin, and pectin + starch. h.d capacity retention of water for a long time. Th. obtained data from th. greenh.use experiment sh.wed th.t th. eco-friendly h.drogel sh.wed a positive effect on retention of water and increase th. soil moisture content compared to control. Th. h.gh.st increase was observed at pectin + starch.treatment. Th.s increase reach.d to 2.8-, 2.4- and 2.0-fold for 100%, 75% and 50% FC compared to th. control. Eco- friendly h.drogel application under different drough. conditions led to improve yield and quality of tomato fruits. Moreover, conversion of agricultural wastes to h.drogels and th. use of th.se eco-friendly materials instead of synth.tic h.drogels are necessary to utilize th. limited natural resources and decrease th. h.rmful impact of agricultural wastes on th. environment and pave th. way for th. transition to a sustainable agriculture system.

Objective:To evaluate th. efficacy of ponatinib plus gossypol against colorectal cancer h.T-116 and Caco-2 ***:Cells were treated with.ponatinib and/or gossypol at increasing concentrations to evaluate synergistic drug interactions by combination *** viability,FGF19/FGFR4,and apoptotic and autoph.gic cell death.were ***:Ponatinib(1.25-40μM)and gossypol(2.5-80μM)monoth.rapy inh.bited h.T-116 and Caco-2 cell viability in a doseand time-dependent *** combination of ponatinib and gossypol at a ratio of 1 to 2 significantly decreased cell viability(Ph.a>2-and>4-fold reduction in IC50,respectively,after 24 h.and 48 h.as compared to th. Positive and Negative Environmental Effect of Using Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Wh.at under Drough. Stress

Nanoscience is a development concept in th. field of agriculture. Water scarcity is one of th. most serious stresses th.t restrict growth.of plant. Th.s search.was done to value th. positive and negative influence of ZnO nanoparticles on wh.at plant growth.under drough. stress. A green synth.sis tech.ique was used to produce pollutant-free nano structures. A field experiment was carried out during successive season (2019/2020). NP-Zn-O was applied eith.r by seed-soaking, foliar spraying, or both.togeth.r applications. Th. dose of ZnO NPs was 100 mg/l. Data sh.wed th.t drough. stress reduced th. grain and sh.ot wh.at yield. Th. use of different forms of ZnO improved th. grain and sh.ot wh.at yield, th.se increases reach.d 1.16-, 1.54-fold th.t control. In addition, one of th. oth.r effects of Zn-O-NPs is to increase th. levels of ch.oroph.ll and proline antioxidants in plant tissues, as it is a cofactor for enzymes such.as superoxide dismutase and catalase. Th. data suggest th.t th. role of ZnO NPs is not only to improve plant growth.and ph.siological parameters, but also to improve nutrient uptake and plant nutrient levels. In th.s regard, th. use of zinc in th. form of ZnO NPs h.s a positive effect on reducing th. adverse effects of drough. conditions and improving th. nutritional quality of plants.

Dissociation of polar oil components in low salinity water and its impact on crude oil-brine interfacial interactions and ph.sical properties

Despite many efforts into th. study of fluids interaction in low salinity water flooding, th.y are not probing th. basics of transport ph.nomena between th. involved ph.ses. Th.s work is aimed to bring new understanding of fluid-fluid interaction during low salinity water flooding th.ough.a series of organized experiments in wh.ch.a crude oil sample with.known properties was kept in contact with.different brine solutions of various ionic strength.. Measuring brine ph. conductivity and crude oil viscosity and density for a period of 45 days illustrates th. strong effect of th. contact time and ionic strength.on th. dissociation of polar components and ph.sical properties of th. crude oil and brine. Besides, th. interfacial tension(IFT) measurements sh.w th.t th. interfacial interactions are affected by several competitive interfacial processes. By decreasing th. ionic strength.of th. brine, th. solubility of naph.h.nic acids in th. aqueous solution increases, and h.nce,th. conductivity and th. ph.of th. aqueous ph.se decrease. To verify th.s important finding, UV-Vis spectroscopy and 'h.NMR analysis were also performed on aged brine samples. Notably, th.re is an ionic strength.of brine in wh.ch.th. lowest IFT is observed, wh.le th. oth.r ph.sical properties are remained relatively unch.nged.

Serologic, endoscopic and path.logic findings in pediatric celiac disease: A single center experience in a low/middle income country

BACKGROUND Studies in Africa,Asia,and Latin America are needed to provide a compreh.nsive picture of th. global incidence of celiac disease(CD).AIM To describe th. serology,endoscopic and h.stological findings in typical and atypical presentations of pediatric CD at a tertiary referral h.spital in an African low/middle income country(LMIC).METh.DS Th.s observational study was conducted on 199 patients with.CD from 2010 to *** patients were divided into typical and atypical groups according to th. presenting symptoms including 120 and 79 patients ***,upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with.duodenal biopsy were performed for patients wh. h.d symptoms suggestive of *** severity of th. intestinal damage was graded according to th. h.sto-path.logic Marsh.Oberh.ber *** Ch.onic diarrh.a was th. main intestinal presentation in th. typical *** was th. most common extraintestinal symptom in both.th. typical and atypical ***-Oberh.ber type 3b and 3c was significantly h.gh.r in th. seropositive patients with.a P value of 0.007.A significant correlation was observed between th. h.stological grade of th. biopsied duodenal mucosa and th. clinical presentation(Ph.gh.r in th. atypical group(P valueh.ugh.typical CD was observed in 120 patients in th.s study,th. clinical variability of th. condition was frequently *** only was a significant predictor for th. appearance of atypical ***,CD presentations in LMIC are not different from industrialized countries.
