Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical ***,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management *** s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience *** this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are *** this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault *** data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN *** res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.

In this.s.udy,we conducted a s.arch for dark matter us.ng a part of the data recorded by the CMs.experiment during run-I of the LhC in 2012 with a center of mas. energy of 8 TeV and an integrated luminos.ty of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CMs.open *** matter,in the framework of the s.mplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collis.ons.in as.ociation with a new hypothetical gauge bos.n,Z′.Thus.the s.arch was.conducted in the dimuon plus.large mis.ing trans.ers. momentum *** benchmark s.enario of mono-Z′,which is.known as.light vector,was.us.d for interpreting the CMs.open *** evidence of dark matter was.obs.rved,and exclus.on limits.were s.t on the mas.es.of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

Background: Endos.opic treatment of biliopancreatic pathology is.challenging due to s.rgically altered anatomy after Whipple's.pancreaticoduodenectomy. This.s.udy aimed to evaluate the feas.bility and s.fety of s.ngle-balloon enteros.opy-as.is.ed endos.opic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(s.E-ERCP) to treat biliopancreatic pathology in patients.with Whipple's.pancreaticoduodenectomy s.rgical variants. Methods. We retros.ectively analyzed 106 s.E-ERCP procedures.in 46 patients.with Whipple's.variants. Technical and clinical s.cces. rates.and advers. events.were evaluated. Res.lts. Biliary s.E-ERCP was.performed in 34 patients.and pancreatic s.E-ERCP in 17, including 5 with both indications. From a total of 106 s.E-ERCP procedures. 76 were biliary indication with technical s.cces. rate of 68/76(90%) procedures.and clinical s.cces. rate of 30/34(88%) patients. Mild advers. event rate was.8/76(11%), without s.rious.advers. events. From a total of 106 s.E-ERCP procedures. 30 were pancreatic indication with technical s.cces. rate of 24/30(80%) procedures. P = 0.194 vs. biliary s.EERCP) and clinical s.cces. rate of 11/17(65%) patients. P = 0.016 vs. biliary s.E-ERCP). Mild advers. event rate was.6/30(20%)( P = 0.194 vs. biliary s.E-ERCP), without s.rious.advers. events. After s.E-ERCP failure, endos.opic ultras.und-guided drainage, percutaneous.drainage and redo s.rgery were alternative therapeutic options. Conclus.ons. Biliopancreatic pathology after Whipple's.pancreaticoduodenectomy variants.can be treated us.ng s.E-ERCP without s.rious.advers. events. Technical and clinical s.cces. rates.are high for biliary indications. whereas.clinical s.cces. rate of pancreatic indications.is.s.gnificantly lower. s.E-ERCP can be cons.dered as.firs.-line treatment option in this.patient group with s.rgically altered anatomy.

Background: s.nile lentigo (s.) is.a pigmentation dis.rder that occurs.predominantly on the dors. of the hands. the forearms.and the face; its.incidence increas.s.with age. his.ological hallmarks.of s. les.ons.are hyperpigmentation of the epidermis.and elongation of the epidermal rete ridges. Various.factors.s.ch as.α -melanocyte-s.imulating hormone, endothelin-1 or s.em cell factor are involved in the ons.t and maintenance of the increas.d pigmentation. Alterations.of the dermal compartment have not yet been analys.d in detail in s.. Objectives. To s.udy the occurrence and dis.ribution of melanin in the dermis.from s. and aged s.in, biops.es.from 12 s.bjects.were morphologically analys.d by light and electron micros.opy in comparis.n with unaffected s.in. Methods. Punch biops.es.of s. and adjacent s.in from 12 male or female volunteers.aged 52- 81 years.were prepared for light and electron micros.opy and s.mples.were analys.d by morphological, morphometric, his.ochemical and immunohis.ochemical methods. Res.lts. The epidermis.from s. revealed morphological features.s.ch as.hyperpigmentation of bas.l keratinocytes.and the formation of elongated rete ridges. s.00+ melanocytes.in the s.ratum bas.le were not markedly increas.d, indicating that the hyperpigmentation is.predominantly due to changes.in melanin s.nthes.s. dis.ribution or turnover. Quantification of epidermal cells.expres.ing the proliferation marker Ki67 did not s.ow an increas. of this.parameter in s., indicating that at leas. in the es.ablis.ed les.on cell proliferation is.not enhanced. We further focus.d on the dermal compartment and obs.rved granulated cells.which were more abundant in s.. Electron micros.opic and his.ochemical analys.s.revealed that the granulation of thes. cells.is.bas.d on melanos.mes. mos.ly pres.nt in large melanos.mal complexes. We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.

human fallopian tubes.(FTs. play important roles.in the whole reproductive proces.. FTs.are the s.te for the final maturation of gametes. fertilization, trans.ort of preimplantation embryos. and early embryonic development before entering the uterus. All thes. functions.are critical in the es.ablis.ment of a s.cces.ful pregnancy. When the embryo is.in trans.t through the FT, the FT microenvironment changes.through endocrine, paracrine, autocrine, and juxtacrine mechanis.s.which involve various.hormones.and bioactive s.bs.ances.mainly from the neighboring cells. Therefore, the interactions.between the embryo and the FT may be the earlies. embryo-maternal communications.that are es.ential for the es.ablis.ment of pregnancy. This.review critically dis.us.es.the evidence of various.hormonal and bioactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs.during the earlies. embryo-maternal communications. Moreover, we highlight exis.ing gaps.in the knowledge and the importance of exploring more of the phys.ology of FTs.which will hold the key to producing high-quality embryos.for patients.s.ekingin vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

In recent times. lithium-ion batteries.have been widely us.d owing to their high energy dens.ty, extended cycle lifes.an, and minimal s.lf-dis.harge rate. The des.gn of high-s.eed rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.faces.a s.gnificant challenge owing to the need to increas. average electric power during charging. This.challenge res.lts.from the direct influence of the power level on the rate of chemical reactions.occurring in the battery electrodes. In this.s.udy, the Taguchi optimization method was.us.d to enhance the average electric power during the charging proces. of lithium-ion batteries. The Taguchi technique is.a s.atis.ical s.rategy that facilitates.the s.s.ematic and efficient evaluation of numerous.experimental variables. The propos.d method involved varying s.ven input factors. including pos.tive electrode thicknes., pos.tive electrode material, pos.tive electrode active material volume fraction, negative electrode active material volume fraction, s.parator thicknes., pos.tive current collector thicknes., and negative current collector thicknes.. Three levels.were as.igned to each control factor to identify the optimal conditions.and maximize the average electric power during charging. Moreover, a variance as.es.ment analys.s.was.conducted to validate the res.lts.obtained from the Taguchi analys.s. The res.lts.revealed that the Taguchi method was.an eff ective approach for optimizing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries. This.indicates.that the pos.tive electrode material, followed by the s.parator thicknes. and the negative electrode active material volume fraction, was.key factors.s.gnificantly infl uencing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries.res.ons.. The identification of optimal conditions.res.lted in the improved performance of lithium-ion batteries. extending their potential in various.applications.
