With an increase in global aging,the number of people affected by cerebrovascular diseases is also increasing,and the incidence of vascular dementia-closely related to cerebrovascular risk-is increasing at an epidemic ***,few therapeutic options exist that can markedly improve the cognitive impairment and prognosis of vascular dementia *** in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders,synaptic dysfunction is recognized as the main reason for cognitive *** oxide is one of the ubiquitous gaseous cellular messengers involved in multiple physiological and pathological processes of the central nervous ***,nitric oxide has been implicated in regulating synaptic plasticity and plays an important role in the pathogenesis of vascular *** review introduces in detail the emerging role of nitric oxide in physiological and pathological states of vascular dementia and summarizes the diverse effects of nitric oxide on different aspects of synaptic dysfunction,neuroinflammation,oxidative stress,and blood-brain barrier dysfunction that underlie the progress of vascular ***,we propose that targeting the nitric oxide-sGC-cGMP pathway using certain specific approaches may provide a novel therapeutic strategy for vascular dementia.

Boosting cationic and anionic redox activity of Li-rich layered oxide cathodes via Li/Ni disordered regulation

Lithium-rich layered oxides （LLOs） are increasingly recognized as promising cathode materials for nextgeneration high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries （LIBs）.However,they suffer from voltage decay and low initial Coulombic efficiency （ICE） due to severe structural degradation caused by irreversible O ***,we introduce a three-in-one strategy of increasing Ni and Mn content,along with Li/Ni disordering and TM–O covalency regulation to boost cationic and anionic redox activity simultaneously and thus enhance the electrochemical activity of *** target material,Li1.2Ni0.168Mn0.558Co0.074O2（L1）,exhibits an improved ICE of 87.2%and specific capacity of 293.2 mA h g-1and minimal voltage decay of less than 0.53 m V cycle-1over 300 cycles at 1C,compared to Li1.2Ni0.13Mn0.54Co0.13O2（Ls）(274.4 mA h g-1for initial capacity,73.8%for ICE and voltage decay of 0.84 mV/cycle over 300 cycles at 1C).Theoretical calculations reveal that the density of states （DOS） area near the Fermi energy level for L1 is larger than that of Ls,indicating higher anionic and cationic redox reactivity than ***,L1 exhibits increased O-vacancy formation energy due to higher Li/Ni disordering of 4.76%（quantified by X-ray diffraction Rietveld refinement） and enhanced TM–O covalency,making lattice O release more difficult and thus improving electrochemical *** increased Li/Ni disordering also leads to more Ni2+presence in the Li layer,which acts as a pillar during Li+de-embedding,improving structural *** research not only presents a viable approach to designing low-Co LLOs with enhanced capacity and ICE but also contributes significantly to the fundamental understanding of structural regulation in high-performance LIB cathodes.

Selective laser melting(SLM)has provided an alternative to the conventional fabrication techniques for Ti-6Al-4V alloy parts because of its flexibility and ease in creating complex ***,this study investigated the effects of the process parameters and heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V fabricated using *** influences of various process parameters on the relative density,tensile properties,impact toughness,and hardness of Ti-6Al-4V alloy parts were *** employing parameter optimization,a high-density high-strength Ti-6Al-4V alloy was fabricated by SLM.A relative density of 99.45%,a tensile strength of 1188 MPa,and an elongation to failure of 9.5%were achieved for the SLM-fabricated Ti-6Al-4V alloy with optimized *** effects of annealing and solution aging heat treatment on the mechanical properties,phase composition,and microstructure of the SLM-fabricated Ti-6Al-4V alloy were also *** ductility of the heat-treated Ti-6Al-4V alloy was *** applying a heat treatment at 850℃ for 2 h,followed by furnace cooling,the elongation to failure and impact toughness were found to be increased from 9.5%to 12.5%,and from 24.13 J/cm^(2)to 47.51 J/cm^(2),respectively.

Thermal annealing of YOH1.1F1.9 and YOH1.1F1.9：Ln3＋（Ln3＋=Eu3＋, Tb3＋ and Gd3＋） precursors in air gave access to synthe- size yttrium oxyfluoride phosphors with well-preserved needle-like morphologies. The phase purities of samples strongly depended on the thermal annealing temperature. At 600 ℃, pure Y5O4F7 with orthorhombic structure were obtained, as evidenced by powder X-ray diffraction measurement and chemical analysis. The interesting microstructure evolution of the annealed sample from well-organized nanoparticles on curly slices to microrod-bundle structure had been aroused by raising annealing temperature. The multicolor fluorescent emissions of Y5O4F7：Ln3＋ phosphors were observed, e.g. ultraviolet emission for Gd3＋, green emission for Tb3＋ and red emission for Eu3＋, which resulted from characteristic transitions of different lanthanide ions.

Control Strategies for Digital Twin Systems

With the continuous breakthrough in information technology and its integration into practical applications, industrial digital twins are expected to accelerate their development in the near future. This paper studies various control strategies for digital twin systems from the viewpoint of practical *** make full use of advantages of digital twins for control systems, an architecture of digital twin control systems, adaptive model tracking scheme, performance prediction scheme, performance retention scheme, and fault tolerant control scheme are proposed. Those schemes are detailed to deal with different issues on model tracking, performance prediction, performance retention, and fault tolerant control of digital twin systems. Also, the stability of digital twin control systems is analysed. The proposed schemes for digital twin control systems are illustrated by examples.

Experimental Investigation on Vortex-Induced Vibration of Deep-Sea Risers of Different Excitation Water Depths

The vortex-induced vibration test of the deep-sea riser was carried out with different excitation water depths in the wave-current combined water *** dimensionally changing the multi-stage water depth and hydrodynamic parameters such as outflow velocity at various water depths,the dynamic response parameters such as dominant frequency,dimensionless displacement and vibration trajectory evolution process of the riser under different excitation water depths were explored to reveal the sensitive characteristics of the dynamic response of vortexinduced vibration of the risers under different excitation water *** results show that different excitation water depths will change the additional mass of the riser and the fluid damping and other parameters,which will affect the spatial correlation and stability of the vortex shedding behind the *** the lock-in region,the distribution range of the characteristic frequency becomes narrow and centered on the lock-in *** increase of the excitation water depth gradually advances the starting point of the lock-in region of the riser,and at the same time promotes the excitation of the higher-order vibration frequency of the riser *** the dimensionless excitation water depth,the dominant frequency and dimensionless displacement are highly insensitive to the excitation water depth at high flow *** change of the excitation water depth will interfere with the correlation of the non-linear coupling of the ***“8-shaped”gradually becomes irregular,and the vibration trajectories of the riser show“O-shape”,“X-shape”and“Crescent-shape”.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs) have emerged as potential candidates for Li-ion batteries due to their intrinsic safety and high ***,metallic Zn anodes encounter dendrite growth and water-induced corrosion,rendering poor stability and severe irreversibility at the electrode/electrolyte interface during *** stabilize the Zn anode,we report a low-cost and effective nonionic surfactant,Tween-20 polymer,as an electrolyte additive for *** Tween-20,sequential oxyethylene groups tended to be preferentially adsorbed on the Zn electrode to form a shielding layer for regulating uniform Zn ***,the hydrophobic hendecyl chains prevented H_(2)O-induced corrosion on the Zn anode *** from the desired functional groups,when only trace amounts of Tween-20(0.050 g·L^(-1)) were used,the Zn anode displayed good cycling stability over 2170 h at10 mA·cm^(-2) and a high average Coulombic efficiency of98.94% over 1000 *** Tween-20 polymer can also be effectively employed in MnO_(2)/Zn full *** their toxicity,price and amount of usage,these surfactant additives provide a promising strategy for realizing the stability and reversibility of high-performance Zn anodes.

Catalytic Co9S8 decorated carbon nanoboxes as efficient cathode host for long-life lithium-sulfur batteries

Lithium sulfur(Li-S)batteries with high specific capacity and energy density can bring enormous opportunities for the nextgeneration energy storage ***,the severe dissolution and shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)is still the key issue that seriously impedes the development of practical Li-S ***,polar Co9S8 inlaid carbon nanoboxes(Co9S8@C NBs)have been investigated as cathode host for high-performance Li-S *** this integrated structure,Co9S8 nanocrystals not only provide strong chemisorptive capability for polar LiPSs,but also act as a catalyst to accelerate polysulfide redox reactions;while carbon nanobox with large inner space can offer enough space to relieve the volume expansion and physically confine LiPSs’*** a result,the S/Co9S8@C NBs cathode exhibits high specific capacity at 1C and the capacity retention was^83%after 400 cycles,corresponding to an average decay rate of only^0.043%per cycle.
