Neonatal Maternal Deprivation Followed by Adult Stress Enhances Adrenergic Signaling to Advance Visceral Hypersensitivity

The pathophysiology of visceral pain in patients with irritable bowel syndrome remains largely *** previous study showed that neonatal maternal deprivation(NMD) does not induce visceral hypersensitivity at the age of 6 weeks in rats. The aim of this study was to determine whether NMD followed by adult stress at the age of 6 weeks induces visceral pain in rats and to investigate the roles of adrenergic signaling in visceral pain. Here we showed that NMD rats exhibited visceral hypersensitivity 6 h and 24 h after the termination of adult multiple stressors(AMSs). The plasma level of norepinephrine was significantly increased in NMD rats after AMSs. Whole-cell patch-clamp recording showed that the excitability of dorsal root ganglion(DRG) neurons from NMD rats with AMSs was remarkably increased. The expression of β_2 adrenergic receptors at the protein and mRNA levels was markedly higher in NMD rats with AMSs than in rats with NMD alone. Inhibition of β_2 adrenergic receptors with propranolol or butoxamine enhanced the colorectal distention threshold and application of butoxamine also reversed the enhanced hypersensitivity of DRG neurons. Overall,our data demonstrate that AMS induces visceral hypersensitivity in NMD rats, in part due to enhanced NE-β_2 adrenergic signaling in DRGs.

During sintering of the silica-based ceramic core of turbine blades,a phenomenon called"nonuniform sintering"occurs that negatively affects the thermal and mechanical properties of the *** samples of silica-based core were prepared by an injection molding method and sintered with alumina backfilling powder with different sodium *** effect of sodium content on the nonuniform sintering of silica-based cores and the thermal and mechanical properties was *** show that the sintering level and the content ofα-cristobalite in the surface layer are significantly higher than that of the sample interior.A considerable number of microcracks are found in the surface layer due to theβtoα-phase transition of *** the sodium content in the alumina powder decreases,the level of the nonuniform sintering and the amount of crystallized cristobalite in the surface layer decrease,which is beneficial to the thermal expansion and flexural strength at ambient *** flexural strength and thermal deformation at high temperature are improved by reducing the surface cracks,but deteriorated with the decrease of the cristobalite crystallization when the surface cracks are macroscopically invisible.

In order to enhance the area throughput of next generation wireless local area network(WLAN)in high density scenarios,orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA)has been adopted as one of the key technologies in the next generation WLAN communication ***,the performance of the existing media access control(MAC)degrades significantly under unsaturated ***,this paper proposes a multi-user parallel contention channel MAC(MU-MAC)based on unsaturated services,which can effectively reduce the channel access conflict and improve the OFDMA access efficiency of cluster member *** this basis,MU-MAC is enhanced for the spatial clustering group(SCG)formation protocol and support for the unsaturated service ***,the optimal access radius when the service is in a non-saturated state is analyzed to make the relevant theoretical analysis more generally,and the expressions for the throughput and area throughput of the proposed protocol are modeled and *** simulation results verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the efficiency of the protocol *** results show that MU-MAC outperforms IEEE 802.11ax and OMAX protocol in area throughput by 40.72%and 104.15%,respectively.

This review aims to sum up how Non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)regulate the development of periodontitis and provides a new perspective for understanding the pathogenesis of *** explored the ncRNA's dual role in the development of periodontitis by summarizing evidence from previous in vivo and in vitro studies as well as clinical *** our review,the downregulation of 18 miRNAs,22 lncRNAs and 10 circRNAs demonstrates protective roles in *** contrast,the expression of other 11 miRNAs,7 lncRNAs and 6 circRNAs are upregulated in periodontitis,which promote the progression of *** dysregulated ncRNAs exert their protective or destructive roles by mainly influencing cell proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis via cross-talking with various molecules or signaling *** findings suggested which and how ncRNAs promote or delay the progression of periodontitis,which may greatly contribute to diagnose and therapy development of periodontitis based on ncRNAs in the future.

Developing non-noble catalyst synthesis under green conditions with efficient electrochemical reactions is a challenging task in green energy *** meet this challenge,the synthesis of hybridized non-noble cobalt and iron in the zeolitic-imidazole framework(Co/Fe-ZIF)through a solid-state thermal(SST)method is *** the obtained Co/Fe-ZIF structure,iron atoms are uniformly dispersed and randomly hybridized with primary cobalt atoms and imidazole linker,similar to the structure of *** hybridized Co/Fe-ZIF shows potential as an electrocatalyst for oxidation evolution reaction(OER).The optimal iron-incorporating catalyst,Co/Fe_(0.2)-ZIF,demonstrates remarkable performance with a minimized overpotential of 285 mV at the current density(j)of 10 mA·cm^(-2)in 1 M *** synergistic effect of iron and cobalt ions on the catalyst provides active sites that bind to intermediate(OOH^(*))more strongly and facilitate high electron charge transfer,enhancing efficient ***,the synergistic Co/Fe_(0.2-)ZIF catalyst demonstrates excellent durable reaction time compared to non-iron catalyst(ZIF-67)and conventional catalyst(RuO_(2)).

We examine the electronic and magnetic structures of iron telluride KFe2Te2 using first-principle calculations. We demonstrate that the ground state of this compound is in bicollinear antiferromag- netic order with Fe local moments （- 2.6 μB） that are ferromagnetically aligned along a diagonal direction and antiferromagnetically aligned along the other diagonal in the Fe-Fe square lattice, sim- ilar to the alignment discovered in the parent compound of superconductor α-FeTe. This bicollinear antiferromagnetic order results from the interplay among the nearest, next-nearest, and next-next- nearest neighbor exchange interactions, which are mediated by Te 5p orbitals. This finding may aid our understanding of the interplay between magnetism and superconductivity in the family of iron-based materials.

Decreased miR-325-5p Contributes to Visceral Hypersensitivity Through Post-transcriptional Upregulation of CCL2 in Rat Dorsal Root Ganglia

Chronic visceral hypersensitivity is an important type of chronic pain with unknown etiology and pathophysiology. Recent studies have shown that epigenetic regulation plays an important role in the development of chronic pain conditions. However, the role of mi RNA-325-5 p in chronic visceral pain remains unknown. The present study was designed to determine the roles and mechanism of mi RNA-325-5 p in a rat model of chronic visceral *** model was induced by neonatal colonic inflammation(NCI). In adulthood, NCI led to a significant reduction in the expression of mi RNA-325-5 p in colon-related dorsal root ganglia(DRGs), starting to decrease at the age of4 weeks and being maintained to 8 weeks. Intrathecal administration of mi RNA-325-5 p agomir significantly enhanced the colorectal distention(CRD) threshold in a time-dependent manner. NCI also markedly increased the expression of CCL2(C-C motif chemokine ligand 2) in colon-related DRGs at the m RNA and protein levels relative to age-matched control rats. The expression of CXCL12, IL33, SFRS7, and LGI1 was not significantlyaltered in NCI rats. CCL2 was co-expressed in Neu Npositive DRG neurons but not in glutamine synthetasepositive glial cells. Furthermore, CCL2 was mainly expressed in isolectin B4-binding-and calcitonin generelated peptide-positive DRG neurons but in few NF-200-positive cells. More importantly, CCL2 was expressed in mi R-325-5 p-positive DRG neurons. Intrathecal injection of mi RNA-325-5 p agomir remarkably reduced the upregulation of CCL2 in NCI rats. Administration of Bindarit, an inhibitor of CCL2, markedly raised the CRD threshold in NCI rats in a dose-and time-dependent manner. These data suggest that NCI suppresses mi RNA-325-5 p expression and enhances CCL2 expression, thus contributing to visceral hypersensitivity in adult rats.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:behaviors,causes and solutions of horizontal segregation on strand

Horizontal segregation has been a constraint to the development and application of super-high bed *** eliminate the horizontal segregation of super-high bed sintering,several typical sintering machines were sampled and analyzed,and theoretical calculation was made to compare the bed depth and their differences in different areas within the mixture ***,solutions were proposed and applied to a 265 m^(2) sintering *** results showed that the horizontal seg-regation of the 265 m^(2) sintering machine was dominated by particles larger than 8 mm with horizontal segregation degree of 0.48,while 360 and 550 m^(2) sintering machines were affected by 5-8 mm and 1-3 mm particles with horizontal segregation degree of 0.27 and 0.31,*** analysis indicated the different segregation distribution results from the matching of the bed depth of each area within the mixture ***,the horizontal segregation degree not larger than 0.06 was achieved by optimizing the time parameters and the division of three zones on the 265 m^(2) sintering machine.
