We propose the design of an observation station to establish a reliable datum for displacement and deformation analysis at the first working-face subsidence observation station of Liuzhuang Mine. The design considers various geologic and mining con-ditions. Having analyzed the aims of the joint survey and the comprehensive survey, we propose design principles, and work modes, for adopting GPS technology as the position measuring technique to be used in these two stages. Baseline vectors and spatial ad-justments of the GPS network were calculated after study of data processing and quality estimation methods. A coordinate system transformation and error estimates of the transformed GPS network data are discussed. The error estimates in all stages show that the GPS control network of the observation station has sufficient accuracy and is highly efficient. The network thus provides a reli-able datum for analyzing the laws of surface displacement and deformation induced by mining.

Hydrogen acquisition from solar energy is an effective way to address energy crisis,which makes the development of efficient photocatalysts become the main direction of scientific ***,cobalt phthalocyanine/oxygen-doped g-C_(3)N_(4)(CoPc/OCN) S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst was designed by coupling multi-step calcination with solvothermal method for enhanced photothermal-assisted photocatalytic H_(2) *** multistep calcined g-C_(3)N_(4) is easier for O-doping formation,and the ethanol solvothermal strategy is utilized to enhance the dispersion of CoPc on OCN nano sheet surface and forms sufficient S-scheme heterojunction through *** addition,the active sites and excellent photothermal properties of CoPc itself further improve the integrated photocatalytic activity of CoPc/OCN S-scheme *** optimal photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate of CoPc/OCN S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst reached 9.56 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1),which is 2.69 and 1.23 times higher than that of CN and OCN,*** work provides a valuable design idea and scheme for enhancing the multi-factor co-assisted photocatalytic H_(2) evolution performance.

TiO2 tri-layer structure films were modified by C-ions implantation for improving the photovoltaic perfor- mance of dye-sensitized solar cells （DSSCs）, in which the structure of TiOa changes from rutile to anatase and the sizes of TiOa particles increase. The optimal concentration of ions implantation for C-implanted cells is 1 ~ 1015 ***-2, and the maximum conversion efficiency of 5.32 % is achieved （luminous intensity of 1 sun, light irradiance of ***）, which is 25.2 % higher than that of unimplanted cell. The significant improvement in conversion efficiency by carbon- ion implantation is contributed to reducing charge recombi- nation and enhancing the light-harvesting ability, as indicated from incident photon-to-collected electron conversion effi- ciency （IPCE） and ultraviolet-visible （UV-Vis） measure- ments. Furthermore, the charge carrier＇s lifetime in the tri- layer titania films is prolonged after carbon-ion implantations.

Painful stimuli elicit first-line reflexive defensive reactions and,in many cases,also evoke second-line recuperative behaviors,the latter of which reflects the sensing of tissue damage and the alleviation of *** lateral parabrachial nucleus(lPBN),composed of external-(elPBN),dorsal-(dlPBN),and central/superior-subnuclei(jointly referred to as slPBN),receives sensory inputs from spinal projection neurons and plays important roles in processing affective information from external threats and body integrity ***,the organizational rules of lPBN neurons that provoke diverse behaviors in response to different painful stimuli from cutaneous and deep tissues remain *** this study,we used region-specific neuronal depletion or silencing approaches combined with a battery of behavioral assays to show that slPBN neurons expressing substance P receptor(NK1R)(lPBNNK1R)are crucial for driving pain-associated self-care behaviors evoked by sustained noxious thermal and mechanical stimuli applied to skin or bone/muscle,while elPBN neurons are dispensable for driving such ***,lPBNNK1R neurons are specifically required for forming sustained somatic pain-induced negative teaching signals and aversive memory but are not necessary for fear-learning or escape behaviors elicited by external ***,both lPBNNK1R and elPBN neurons contribute to chemical irritant-induced nocifensive *** results reveal the functional organization of parabrachial substrates that drive distinct behavioral outcomes in response to sustained pain versus external danger under physiological conditions.

The present study was designed to investigate the non-alkaloid compounds from the leaves and stems of Vinca major cultivated in Yunnan Province, China. The compounds were isolated using chromatographic techniques. The structures were elucidated by 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopic methods in combination with UV, IR, and MS analyses. The 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl （DPPH）-scavenging activity of Compounds 1-7 were evaluated. One new iridoid glycoside （compound 1）, together with 11 known compounds, were isolated from Vinca major. Compounds 1, 5, and 6 showed moderate DPPH-scavenging activity, with IC50 values being 70.6, 32.8, and 62.2μmaol·L 1, respectively. In conclusion, compound 1 is a newly identified iridoid glycoside with moderate antioxidant activity.

Novel furoxan-based nitric oxide-releasing derivatives 6a-p of hydroxylcinnamic acids were synthesized by coupling the carboxyl group of hydroxylcinnamic acids with furoxan through various alkylol *** 6a,e-i and m-p displayed more potent anti-tumor activities superior to control 5-fluorouracil（5-FU） in most cancer cells ***,6f could selectively inhibit tumor cells,but not non-tumor cell *** inhibition was attributed to high levels of NO released in cancer cells and potentially synergistic effect of NO donor moieties and the bioactivity of hydroxylcinnamic acids.

Background Risk factors that contribute to younger patients with lung cancer are still relatively *** aim of this study was to compare the clinical characteristics,histological types,stages at diagnosis,treatment modalities and survival rates between young and old patients with lung *** The study was designed as a retrospective review of all lung cancer patients admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from 1998 to *** analyses using univariate and multivariate approaches were performed to compare the survival rates between different age groups and to discover potential prognostic *** This research included 3320 patients with primary lung cancer,of whom 626 （18.8%） were 45 years old or younger at the time of *** percentage of smokers and the male to female ratios between the young and old patient groups were 51.27% vs.70.6% （P 〈0.001） and 1.99 vs.2.13 （P=0.4801）,*** young patient group had a higher incidence of adenocarcinoma and fewer *** 1-year,3-year and 5-year survival rates in the young patient group were generally lower than those of the old patient group,with significant differences （P=0.0232）.The clinical stage of the tumor was a prognostic factor for both non-small cell lung cancer patients （P 〈0.0001 ） and small cell lung cancer patients （P=0.0002）.Symptoms,diagnostic method,histology,smoking,treatment modality and body mass index were shown to have significant relationships with the survival of lung cancer patients （P 〈0.05）.Conclusions Patients with lung cancer who are younger than 45 years old might have a significantly poorer prognosis than that of older ***,diagnosis method,histology,smoking,treatment modality and body mass index can be independent prognostic factors for lung cancer.
