It has long been assumed that the differences between Iran and Saudi Arabia were primarily civilizational and ideological. On the one hand, Iran is the modern incarnation of Persia, one of eight distinct ancient civilizations, which at its historical peak during the Achaemenid Empire(ca. 500 B.C.) ruled parts of what is today Central Asia, North Africa, Europe, the Arabian Peninsula and of course, what some refer to as the Middle East and others call West Asia. At its height, it was one of the largest empires in world history, one deeply admired by the world beaters who followed, including Alexander the Great.

Objective:Treatment delays in prostate cancer have been characterised,although not explicitly in men undergoing transperineal prostate *** aimed to determine if delays to radical prostatectomy correlate with adverse outcomes using a contemporary population-based cohort of men diagnosed by transperineal ***:This study analysed men with prostate cancer of the International Society for Urological Pathology grade group≥2,diagnosed by transperineal prostate biopsies who underwent prostatectomy,using the prospectively data from 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2018 Prostate Cancer Outcomes *** were analysed according to stratified demographic and disease *** intervals from biopsy(28,60,90,120,and 270 days)were compared using odds ratios and regression analyses for proportion of upgrading,early biochemical recurrence,pT3 disease at prostatectomy,and positive surgical ***:In total,2008 men were *** were 306(16.7%)men with upgrading,151(8.4%)with biochemical recurrence,1068(54.1%)with pT3 disease,and 464(23.1%)with positive surgical margins(percentages excluded patients with missing data).All adverse outcomes studied were significantly associated with higher prostate-specific antigen and grade at *** of 120-270 days did not adversely alter the incidence of Gleason upgrading,pT3,or ***(most frequent 60-89 days,28%)were associated with positive surgical margins but not *** modelling demonstrated no increased likelihood of most adverse outcomes for up to 270 ***:Men with prostate cancer of grade group≥2 diagnosed through transperineal biopsy may wait up to 270 days for a prostatectomy without a greater likelihood of upgrading,pT3 disease,positive surgical margins,or biochemical recurrence.

Paper-based electrochemical sensors provide the opportunity for low-cost,portable and environmentally friendly single-use chemical analysis and there are various reports of surface-functionalized paper *** we report a composite paper electrode that is fabricated through designed papermaking using cellulose,carbon fibers(CF),and graphene oxide(GO).The composite paper has well-controlled structure,stable,and repeatable properties,and offers the electrocatalytic activities for sensitive and selective chemical *** demonstrate that this CF/GO/cellulose composite paper can be reduced electroche mically using relatively mild conditions and this GO reduction confers electrocatalytic properties to the composite ***,we demonstrate that this composite paper offers sensing performance(sensitivity and selectivity)comparable to,or better than,paperbased sensors prepared by small-batch surface-modification(e.g.,printing)*** envision this coupling of industrialized papermaking technologies with interfacial engineering and electrochemical reduction can provide a platform for single-use and portable chemical detection for a wide range of applications.

Background:Bacillary layer detachment(BALAD)is a phenomenon characterized by fluid accumulation at the myoid region of the inner photoreceptor segments identifiable on optical coherence tomography(OCT)*** finding has been recently described in patients with diverse primary diagnoses which share the common feature of serous exudation in the posterior ***,thus far there have been very few reports in the literature of BALAD in patients with posterior *** Description:A 16-year-old male presented with unilateral vision changes that acutely worsened overnight to significant unilateral vision *** was eventually diagnosed with idiopathic posterior scleritis with associated BALAD on *** to other reported cases of BALAD,he experienced anatomic restoration of the outer retina followed by good visual recovery after treatment with high dose steroid,ultimately with complete recovery of both retinal anatomy and vision within 4 ***:This case provides further evidence that posterior scleritis can be a cause of *** rapid presentation and excellent visual and anatomical outcome of this case is entirely consistent with known descriptions of BALAD in a variety of other conditions,further supporting the categorization of BALAD as an entity which retinal specialists should be able to recognize as distinct from other forms of intraretinal fluid,retinal detachment,and retinoschisis.

We present the results for π, ρ, proton and Δ masses from our recently built Pentium cluster and compare with the quenched Wilson fermion data presented by MILC and GF11 collaborations [***.B (***.) 60A(1998)3, Nucl. Phys. B 430(1994)179] at β = 6/g2=5.7 and 5.85 on the 83×32 lattice. New data are shown at β=6.25 on the 123×36 and 163×32 lattices. Such a large β value is useful for extrapolating the lattice results to the continuum limit. The smearing technique is systematically investigated and can greatly improve the spectrum data.
