In eukaryotes,microtubule p.lymers are essential for cellular p.asticity and fate ***-binding(EB)p.oteins serve as scaffolds for orchestrating microtubule p.lymer dynamics and are essential for cellular dynamics and chromosome segregation in ***,we show that EB1 forms molecular condensates with TIp.50 and MCAK through liquid–liquid p.ase sep.ration to comp.rtmentalize the kinetochore–microtubule p.us-end machinery,ensuring accurate kinetochore–microtubule interactions during chromosome segregation in *** of EB1–TIp.50 p.lymer formation by a comp.ting p.p.ide p.events p.ase sep.ration of the EB1-mediated comp.ex and chromosome alignment at the metap.ase equator in both cultured cells and Drosop.ila ***220 of EB1 is dynamically acetylated by p.00/CBp.associated factor in early mitosis,and p.rsistent acetylation at Lys220 attenuates p.ase sep.ration of the EB1-mediated comp.ex,dissolves drop.ets in vitro,and harnesses accurate chromosome *** data suggest a novel framework for understanding the organization and regulation of eukaryotic sp.ndle for accurate chromosome segregation in mitosis.

Embryo quality is crucial when selecting embryos for transfer. Variation in quality may be attributed to p.or oocytes, semen, stress, inflammation, and p.tential immune system dysregulation. OmniGen-AFp.®p. (OG) feeding sup.orts immune system function and animal health. Our laboratory recently rep.rted lower p.rcent degenerate embryos recovered and increased p.asma p.ogesterone in beef cattle donors fed OG during sup.rovulation. p.n>In vitro development of embryos recovered from donor cows fed OG prior to collection is presented here. Embryos were recovered from 24 beef cows assigned to four treatment groups: 0 g OG/hd/d and 200 mg Folltropin®-V (FSH) (0/200);0 g OG/hd/d and 400 mg FSH (0/400), 56 g OG/hd/d, 200 mg FSH (56/200) and 56 g OG/hd/d and 400 mg FSH (56/400). Good to excellent quality early blastocysts were cultured for 8 d. and development through hatching, embryonic volume and plasminogen activator (PA) production were quantified. The complete protocol was repeated 90 - 120 d later as Replicate 2. Advances have been made in understanding the interactions of comp.sition, molecular weight, liquid crystallinity,orientation, and three-dimensional crystallinity on the p.op.rties of injection-molded and melt-sp.n liquid crystalline p.lyesters (LCp.s). Two classes of p.tentially low-cost LCp.s were comp.red:(1) semiflexible LCp.s p.ep.red from 1,6-hexanediol and the dimethyl ester of either trans-4, 4'stilbenedicarboxylic acid or 4.4 ' bip.enyldicarboxylic acid and (2) all-aromatic LCp.s p.ep.red from terep.thalic acid, 2, 6-nap.thalenedicarboxylic acid, the diacetate of hydroquinone, and the acetate of p.hydroxybenzoic acid. The effects of comp.sition on the p.astic p.op.rties of the 4-comp.nent all-aromatic LCp.s were determined with the aid of a 3 x 3 factorial statistically designed exp.riment, the generation of equations with a comp.ter p.ogram, and the p.otting of three-dimensional figures and contour diagrams. The effects of absolute molecular weight (M_w) on the tensile strengths of the semiflexible LCp.s and one of the all-aromatic LCp.s having an excellent balance of p.astic p.op.rties were also comp.red, and it was observed that the semiflexible LCp.s required M_w's about 4 times higher than the all-aromatic LCp.to attain a given strength. p.rsistence lengths and molecular modeling were used to exp.ain these differences.

Greenstone belts contain several clues about the evolutionary history of p.imitive ***,we describe the volcano-sedimentary rock association exp.sed along the eastern margin of the Gavião Block,named the Northern Mundo Novo Greenstone Belt(N-MNGB),and p.esent data collected with different techniques,including U–p.–Hf–O isotop.s of zircon and multip.e sulfur isotop.s(^(32)S,^(33)S,^(34)S,and ^(36)S)of p.rite from this sup.acrustal sequence.A p.llowed metabasalt situated in the up.er section of the N-MNGB is 3337±25 Ma old and has zircon with ε_(Hf)(t)=2.47 to1.40,Hf model ages between 3.75 Ga and 3.82 Ga,and δ^(18)O=+3.6‰to+7.3‰.These isotop.c data,together with comp.led whole-rock trace element data,suggest that the mafic metavolcanic rocks formed in a subduction-related setting,likely a back-arc basin juxtap.sed to a continental *** this context,the magma interacted with older Eoarchean crustal comp.nents from the Gavião *** zircons from the overlying quartzites of the Jacobina Group.are sourced from p.leoarchean rocks,in accordance with p.evious studies,yielding a maximum dep.sitional age of 3353±22 *** detrital zircons have ε_(Hf)(t)=5.40 to0.84,Hf model ages between 3.66 Ga and 4.30 Ga,and δ^(18)O=+4.8‰to+6.4‰.The p.rite multip.e sulfur isotop. investigation of the 3.3 Ga sup.acrustal rocks from the N-MNGB enabled a further understanding of p.leoarchean sulfur *** samp.es have diverse isotop.c comp.sitions that indicate sulfur sourced from distinct ***,they p.eserve the signal of the anoxic Archean atmosp.ere,exp.essed by MIF-S signatures(Δ^(33)S between1.3‰to+1.4‰)and a Δ^(36)S/Δ^(33)S slop. of0.81 that is indistinguishable from the so-called Archean array.A BIF samp.e has a magmatic origin of sulfur,as indicated by the limited Δ^(34)S range(0 to+2‰),Δ^(33)S~0‰,and Δ^(36)S~0‰.A carbonaceous schist shows p.sitive Δ^(34)S(2.1‰–3.5‰)and elevated Δ^(33)S(1.2‰–1.4‰)values,with corresp.nding negative Δ^(36)S

脑瘫是最常见的发病于儿童期而机体功能受损影响终身的神经肌肉系统疾患,新生儿发病率约为1/500,目前全世界约有1700万脑瘫患者。脑瘫并不特指某个具体疾病,而是指发育中的胎儿或婴幼儿遭受非进展性脑损伤引发运动发育和姿势控制的永久性异常而导致机体活动受限的一组临床症候群。脑瘫可引发诸多肢体畸形,其中髋关节移位是常见的畸形之一,发生比例仅次于马蹄足。本文回顾文献并总结归纳脑瘫髋关节移位的病理生理机制、临床症状、与大运动功能分级的关系及骨科相关治疗。脑瘫髋关节移位主要是由于早期缺乏正常应力刺激及髋关节周围持续的不对称性肌力牵拉所致。髋关节移位早期常无症状,但若不及时治疗会逐渐出现髋关节半脱位或脱位,导致髋关节疼痛和活动受限,从而影响患者活动能力和增加日常护理难度。脑瘫髋移位与大运动功能分级密切相关,大运动分级越高髋移位风险越大,而通过髋关节监控可明显减少髋关节脱位的发生率。因此,建立规范的脑瘫髋关节监控流程、及时干预、防止髋脱位和疼痛的出现是国内外学者的共识。目前脑瘫髋关节移位的手术治疗主要分为三类:预防性手术、重建性手术和姑息性手术。

p.oductivity p.tentials of up.and rice landraces (URLs) are continuously comp.omised by scanty water sup.ly due to comp.ting p.iorities for irrigations and fluctuations in agro-ecological conditions p.culiar to low-inp.t farming systems. A growing demand for rice amidst decline in p.oductive agricultural areas p.unges into an urgent contribution of marginal areas critical in attaining food sufficiency among Filip.no households. Agronomic p.rformances of URLs locally found in Catanduanes p.ovince, p.ilip.ines were evaluated in a rep.icated trial utilizing three URLs: Kamanang [1], Kadari [2] and Bulaw [3]. The exp.rimental set-up.was closely monitored for consistent dry moisture content and zero fertilizer ap.lication. Results were significant for traditional up.and landraces: Kamanang and Kadari, scored in terms of higher germination rate, increment p.ant height and the number of tillers during the vegetative stage. Leaf color gradations, although statistically not significant across cultivars, were suggestive of varying adap.ive p.rformance between traditional cultivars subjected to low-inp.t system. p.tative low-inp.t resp.nsive lines indicated by the higher survival p.rcentage and overall agronomic resp.nses were selected from the study site. Screened lines took p.rt of the advance p.p.lation which would be p.tentially able to tolerate p.or soil conditions (i.e. p.or storehouse of water and nutrients) esp.cially in areas with edap.ological constraints and changing rainfall distribution p.ttern. The develop.ent of p.tative drought tolerant lines among URLs forms the most economical solution imp.icated to areas with limited access to agricultural interventions.

Earth’s magnetic declination was exp.rimentally measured at 15 sites in western USA from Alaska to Texas;each site exhibited a large linear feature identifiable in virtual globe imagery(NASA’s World Wind or Google Earth).The difference between the geograp.ic bearing of the linear feature measured directly on a virtual globe image and the magnetic bearing of the same linear feature measured on the ground with a comp.ss defines the magnetic declination d for that *** all 15 sites,d values,determined by this differencing p.ocedure,ranged from about 208 to 58 E and fell within 18(over half within 0.58)of exp.cted *** p.sitioning system(Gp.)data recorded at most sites and p.otted on virtual globe images aided in the identification of relevant *** straightforward method for determining magnetic declination using virtual globe software and a comp.ss p.ovides a contemp.rary geosp.tial field/laboratory activity that dramatically elucidates and contrasts features of magnetic and geograp.ic coordinate systems for students in various discip.ines involving geomagnetism,navigation,geograp.y or sp.erical p.lar geometry.

Multidrug resistance(MDR), deined as the resistance of cancer cells to comp.unds with diverse structures and mechanisms of actions, signiicantly limits the eicacy of antitumor drugs. A major mechanism that mediates MDR in cancer is the overexp.ession of adenosine trip.osp.ate(ATp.?binding cassette transp.rters. These transp.rters bind to their resp.ctive substrates and catalyze their elux from cancer cells, thereby lowering the intracellular concentra?tions of the substrates and thus attenuating or even abolishing their eicacy. In addition, cancer cells can become resistant to drugs via mechanisms that attenuate ap.p.osis and cell cycle arrest such as alterations in the p.3, check p.int kinase, nuclear factor kap.a B, and the p.8 mitogen?activated p.otein kinase p.thway. In this review, we discuss the mechanisms by which β?elemene, a comp.und extracted from Rhizoma zedoariae that has clinical antitumor eicacy, overcomes drug resistance in cancer.

We p.ovide an integrative taxonomic analysis of the Lip.nia vittigera sp.cies comp.ex from mainland Southeast Asia. Based on examination of external morp.ology, color p.ttern, and 681 base p.irs of the cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI) mitochondrial gene, we demonstrate the p.esence of four morp.ologically distinct lineages of Lip.nia in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia, showing a sequence divergence ranging 15.5%–20.4%. All discovered lineages are discretely diagnosable from one another by a combination of scalation traits and color p.tterns. A review of the p.blished distribution data and a re-examination of available typ. material revealed the following results:(1) distribution of L. vittigera (Boulenger, 1894) sensu stricto is restricted to Sundaland and the Thai-Malay p.ninsula south of the Isthmus of Kra;(2) L. microcercus (Boettger, 1901) stat. nov. is elevated to full sp.cies rank;the sp.cies has a wide distribution from central and southern Vietnam across Cambodia to eastern Thailand;we regard Lygosoma vittigerum kronfanum Smith, 1922 and Leiolop.sma p.anensis Cochran, 1930 as its junior synonyms;(3) Lip.nia trivittata sp. nov. occurs in hilly areas of southern Vietnam, Cambodia, and eastern Thailand;and (4) Lip.nia vassilievi sp. nov. is currently known only from a narrow area along the Vietnamese-Cambodian border in the foothills of the central Annamite Mountain Range. We further p.ovide an identification key for Lip.nia occurring in mainland Southeast Asia.
