AIM:To evaluate the central corneal thickness(CCT)measurements of premature infantsMETHODS:The premature infants who were born between 25-34wk of gestational age(GA)were retrieved for the *** CCT measurements were performed within the first 2d of their life under topical anesthesia by using an ultrasonic ***:The mean CCT of 200 eyes was 647.79±63.94μ*** mean CCT of the right and left eyes were similar(647.30±64.72μm and 648.29±63.47μm consecutively).The mean CCT of the girls was 642.08±54.89μm and the boys was 653.07±71.14μm,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).But there was a negative correlation of the CCT with GA and birth weight(BW)(P<0.01).CONCLUSION:The CCT values of premature babies were negatively correlated with GA and BW.

目的:报告23G玻璃体视网膜手术治疗孔源性视网膜脱离(rhegmatogenous retinal detachment,RRD)的有效性和安全性。方法:本回顾性研究中,49例49眼RRD患者于2007-01/2009-07在我院行23G经巩膜无缝线玻璃体切除术纳入研究。结果:平均随访时间8.9±7.7mo(1～28mo)。47眼(95.9%)视网膜再次脱离经一次手术治愈,2眼因新出现裂孔的视网膜再次脱离通过23G经巩膜无缝线玻璃体切除术治愈。术前平均logMAR视力2.01±0.47,术后1.3±0.5(P<0.001,Paired t-test)。术前平均眼压(intraocularpressure,IOP)14.1±2.8mmHg,术后1d平均眼压12.3±3.6mmHg,术后1wk平均眼压13.1±2.1mmHg,术后1mo平均眼压14.3±2.2mmHg。术中医源性周边视网膜裂孔1眼(2.0%)。巩膜或结膜切口不要求缝合,无1眼需要转换为20G玻璃体切除术。结论:23G经巩膜无缝线玻璃体切除术可以有效,安全的治疗RRD。

Comparison of intraperitoneal and intratesticular ozone therapy for the treatment of testicular ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats

We compare the efficacy of intratesticular ozone therapy with intraperitoneal ozone therapy in an experimental rat model. For this purpose, 24 rats were divided into four groups including sham-operated, torsion/detorsion, torsion/detorsion plus intraperitoneal ozone （O-IP）, and torsion/detorsion plus intratesticular ozone （O-IT）. The O-IP ozone group received a 4 mg kg-1 intraperitoneal injection of ozone, and the O-IT group received the same injection epididymally. At 4 h after detorsion, the rats were sacrificed and orchiectomy materials were assessed histopathologically. Spermatogenesis in the seminiferous tubules and damage to the Sertoli cells were histopathologically evaluated in the testes using the Johnsen scoring system, i-NOS and e-NOS activities in the testis tissue were also evaluated. Torsion-detorsion caused a decreased Johnsen score and increased apoptosis of spermatogonial and Sertoli cells. Ozone injection prevented increases in Johnsen score and i-NOS level, e-NOS level of the O-IP group was significantly lower than that of the O-IP group, and i-NOS level of the O-IT group was significantly lower than that of the O-IP group. Local ozone therapy is more effective than systemic ozone therapy at improving IRI-related testicular torsion. Our study is the first to show that the efficacy of intratesticular implementation of ozone therapy is higher than that of intraperitoneal ozone therapy.

背景:性功能障碍是影响患者对抗精神病药物服药依从性的因素之一,但尚不清楚这个问题的严重程度。目的:比较服用抗精神病药物且临床症状稳定的精神分裂症患者和健康对照者自我报告的性功能状况。评估工具采用土耳其语版的5个条目的亚利桑那性体验量表(Arizona Sexual Experience Scale,ASEX)。该量表的效度已在土耳其得到验证。量表评估性欲、性唤起、阴道润滑/阴茎勃起、达到高潮的能力以及对高潮的满意度等5个方面的性功能。方法:采用阳性症状量表、阴性症状量表和ASEX分别对101例临床症状稳定的门诊精神分裂症患者(女性38例、男性63例)进行评估。对89例无精神疾病史的对照者(女性41名、男性48名)也进行了ASEX量表评估。如果ASEX总分(范围5-30)>18,或者任一条目得分(范围1-6)≥5,或者至少有3个条目得分都大于4,则被视为存在性功能障碍。结果:自我报告有性功能障碍的男性精神分裂症患者多于健康对照者(46%对8%)。虽然女性患者性功能障碍的患病率显著高于男性患者(68%对46%),但是对照组中健康女性的性功能障碍患病率也非常高(68%),因而女性患者的性功能障碍不能归咎于她们的疾病或是正在服用的药物。患者组中,阳性症状和阴性症状的严重程度与性功能障碍无相关性,服用第一代抗精神病药的患者与服用第二代抗精神病药的患者之间的性功能障碍严重程度无明显差异。结论:在土耳其,不同性别的精神分裂症患者性功能状况的研究结果不同,这凸显了在评估精神障碍和药物对性功能的影响时制定特定区域、特定性别的性行为社会规范的重要性。今后需要采用前瞻性研究来区分文化规范、精神疾病以及使用的抗精神病药物在精神分裂症患者性功能障碍的病因和病程中的相对作用。

Hypothesis: Vitamin D has been considered to play important roles in maintaining pregnancy. Also, this vitamin is considered to regulate immune response and thus may be important for pregnant women also to maintain no-infection of which preterm delivery is especially important. Since vitamin D regulates maternal anti-infection function and since Asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) causes various adverse outcomes in pregnancy, we hypothesized that maternal serum vitamin D level may be related with the presence/absence of ASB. The present study was an effort to determine this. The study included 215 pregnant women, attended the Ondokuz Mayis University Hospital antenatal care polyclinic, Samsun, Turkey, in the summer for initial visits between 6- and 14-weeks’ gestation. Women with symptoms suggestive of urinary tract infection, a history of antibiotic use within the previous two weeks, ongoing antibiotic therapy or urinary system instrumentation, a diagnosis of vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency, and those taking vitamin D supplements were excluded. Demographic data features of the sampled women were analyzed retrospectively. 10 ml maternal peripheral venous blood samples were collected and the concentrations of 25(OH)D3 in the serum were analyzed. Mid-stream morning urine samples were obtained and analyzed at the microbiology laboratory according to established procedures.
