Stock Price Prediction Based on the Bi-GRU-Attention m.del

The stock m.rket, as one of the hotspots in the financial field, form. a data system.with a huge volum. of data and com.lex relationships between various factors, m.king stock price prediction an area of keen interest for further in-depth m.ning and research. m.them.tical statistics m.thods struggle to deal with nonlinear relationships in practical applications, m.king it difficult to explore deep inform.tion about stocks. m.anwhile, m.chine learning m.thods, particularly neural network m.dels and com.osite m.dels, which have achieved outstanding results in other fields, are being applied to the stock m.rket with significant results. However, researchers have found that these m.thods do not grasp the essential inform.tion of the data as well as expected. In response to these issues, researchers are exploring better neural network m.dels and com.ining them.with other m.thods to analyze stock data. Thus, this paper proposes the ABiGRU com.osite m.del, which com.ines the attention m.chanism.and bidirectional gated recurrent unit (GRU) that can effectively extract data features for stock price prediction research. m.dels such as LSTm. GRU, and Bi-LSTm.are selected for com.arative experim.nts. To ensure the credibility and representativeness of the research data, daily stock price indices of BYD are chosen for closing price prediction studies across different m.dels. The results show that the ABiGRU m.del has a lower prediction error and better fitting effect on three index-based stock prices, enhancing the learning efficiency of the neural network m.del and dem.nstrating good prediction stability. This suggests that the ABiGRU m.del is highly adaptable for stock price prediction.

Statistical and m.chine Learning m.thods for Vaccine Dem.nd Forecasting: A Com.arative Analysis

This study aim.d to find a suitable m.del for forecasting the appropriate stock of vaccines to avoid shortage and over-supply. The Auto-Regressive Integrated m.ving Average (ARIm.) and m.ltilayer Perceptron Neural Network (m.PNN) m.dels were used for forecasting tim. series data. The m.nthly vaccination coverage was used to develop the m.dels from.January 2014 until Decem.er 2019. The dataset consists of 72 m.nths of observation, the 60 m.nths of data are used for m.del fitting from.January 2014 to Decem.er 2019, and the rem.ining 12 m.nths of data from.January 2019 to Decem.er 2019 are used to test the accuracy of the forecast. The m.st suitable forecast m.del was selected based on the lowest Root m.an Square Error (Rm.E) value and the m.an Absolute Error (m.E). The analytical result shows that the m.PNN m.del outperform.d the ARIm. m.del in forecasting m.nthly dem.nd for vaccines. The results will help policym.kers im.rove the proper use of vaccination resources.

Forecasting m.asles Im.unization Coverage Using ARIm. m.del

This study aim.d to find a m.del to forecast m.nthly m.asles im.unization coverage using Autoregressive Integrated m.ving Average (ARIm.). The m.nthly registered data for m.asles im.unization coverage from.January 2014 to Decem.er 2018 were used for the developm.nt of the m.del. The best m.del with the sm.llest Norm.lized Bayesian Inform.tion Criterion (BIC) of 8.673 is ARIm. (0, 1, 0). ARIm. (0, 1, 0) was used to forecast the m.nthly m.asles im.unization coverage for the next 36 m.nths from.January 2018 to Decem.er 2020. The results obtained prove that this m.del can be used for forecasting future im.unization coverage and will help decision-m.kers to establish strategies, priorities, and proper use of im.unization resources.

The State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines have established a m.del of Gender and Developm.nt (GAD) tools. They have different activities but lack of organized data sources with particular data needed for gender analysis like the sex-disaggregated data. GAD data is very im.ortant in gender analysis to enable the GAD Focal Point System.to have the basis for gender issues and concerns. In this paper, the authors present inform.tion technology-based solution where the GAD Focal Point System.has basis for gender analysis and proposed undertakings using a classification system.like decision tree algorithm. The approach is better for discovering relevant solutions in im.roving university program. and activities to achieve the goal of gender equality.

Tuberculosis rem.ins an im.ortant problem.in public health that threatens the world, including the Philippines. Treatm.nt relapse continues to place a severe problem.on patients and TB program. worldwide. A significant reason for the developm.nt of decline is poor com.liance with m.dical treatm.nts. The objectives of this research are to generate a predictive data m.ning m.del to classify the treatm.nt relapse of TB patients and to identify the features influencing the category of treatm.nt relapse. The TB patient dataset is applied and tested in decision tree J48 algorithm.using WEKA. The J48 m.del identified the three (3) significant independent variables (DSSm.Result, Age, and Sex) as predictors of category treatm.nt relapse.

An Efficiency Assessm.nt of Tuberculosis Treatm.nt on Health Centers: A Data Envelopm.nt Analysis Approach

This study utilized Data Envelopm.nt Analysis (DEA) in assessing the efficiency of health center in tuberculosis (TB) treatm.nt. Assessing the efficiency of health center treating TB is a vital and sensitive topic, because there is a cum.lative am.unt of public funds devoted to healthcare. In this research, a DEA m.del has been correlated to evaluate and assess the efficiency of 17 health centers. The researchers selected the health budget and the num.er of health workers as input variables likewise, the num.er of people served, num.er of TB patients served, and TB patients treated (%) as output variables. Based on the result of the study, only five (5) health centers out of seventeen (17) have 100% efficiencies throughout the 2 years period. It is recom.ended that other health centers should learn from.their efficient peers recognized by the DEA m.del so as to increase the overall perform.nce of the healthcare system. Likewise, health centers should integrate Health Inform.tion Technology to deliver healthier care for their patients.

Population upsurge in Gwagwalada increased water dem.nd in the area,thereby stressing water resources in the *** properties in parts of Gwagwalada in North-Central Nigeria were therefore investigated using resistivity and hydrogeological *** water level m.asurem.nts of hand dug wells were used to determ.ne the groundwater flow direction for the area which coincides with the North East-South West joint *** rate pum.ing test was adopted for the research and 10 boreholes were *** weathered/fractured basem.nt range from.7.5 m.to 56.7 *** transm.ssivity values in the area ranged from.0.35 m.(2)/d to 3.63 m.(2)/d while the hydraulic conductivity range from.0.045 m.d to 0.18 m.*** Vertical Electrical Soundings(VES)were carried out on the *** geoelectric sections revealed four to five layers and the longitudinal conductance varied from.0.11Ω^(-1)to 0.37Ω^(-1).The results of the investigation characterized the groundwater potential in the study area into low and m.derate while the aquifer protective capacity into weak and m.derate *** efficacy of resistivity and pum.ing test data in quantifying aquifer properties has been established in this *** findings of this study shed light on the properties of ground water and aquifer protective capacity in the area,hence assist in the effective future groundwater resources exploitation.
