The parity generators and the checkers are the most important circuits in communication systems. With the development of multi-valued logic (MVL), the proposed system with parity generators and checkers is the most required using the recently developed optoelectronic technology in the modified trinary number (MTN) system. This system also meets up the tremendous needs of speeds by exploiting the savart plates and spatial light modulators (SLM) in the optical tree architecture (OTA).

The ongoing coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic is one of the major health emergencies in decades that affected almost every country in the *** of June 30,2020,it has caused an outbreak with more than 10 million confirmed infections,and more than 500,000 reported deaths *** to the unavailability of an effective treatment(or vaccine)and insufficient evidence regarding the transmission mechanism of the epidemic,the world population is currently in a vulnerable *** daily cases data sets of COVID-19 for profoundly affected countries represent a stochastic process comprised of deterministic and stochastic *** study proposes an integrated deterministic–stochastic approach to forecast the long-term trajectories of the COVID-19 cases for Italy and *** deterministic component of the daily-cases univariate time series is assessed by an extended version of the SIR[Susceptible–Infected–Recovered–Protected–Isolated(SIRCX)]model,whereas its stochastic component is modeled using an autoregressive(AR)time series *** proposed integrated SIRCX-AR(ISA)approach based on two operationally distinct modeling paradigms utilizes the superiority of both the deterministic SIRCX and stochastic AR models to find the long-term trajectories of the epidemic *** analysis based on the proposed ISA model shows significant improvement in the long-term forecasting of COVID-19 cases for Italy and Spain in comparison to the ODE-based SIRCX *** estimated Basic reproduction numbers for Italy and Spain based on SIRCX model are found to be 4.78 and 3.25,*** model-based results reveal that the number of cases in Italy and Spain between 11 May,2020–9 June,2020 will be 10,982(6383–15,582)and 13,731(3395–29,013),***,the expected number of daily cases on 9 July,2020 for Italy and Spain is estimated to be 30(0–183)and 92(0–602),respectively.

Black clay (BC) was used as a catalyst for the decolorization of Azure B dye by Fenton process. BC was modi ed by acid, alkali, distilled water, and calcination to check their changes in characterization and e ciency on decolorization of Azure B. Among three modi ed catalysts, maximum decolorization was obtained by acid-modi ed BC (AMBC) catalyst due to the highest removal of impurities, comparatively. The characterization of AMBC was done by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray di raction spectroscopy which show the presence of metal ion. The BET surface area, pore volume, pore size, and density of AMBC were calculated to be 79.402 m 2 /g, 0.0608 m 3 /g, 0.00306 nm, and 16 g/cm 3 , respectively. The highest decolorization of 97.59% was achieved only in 10 min using AMBC at optimized calcination of 100 °C and 3 h of aging. AMBC was considered as the main catalyst for optimizing the di erent process parameters. Optimized conditions were obtained: pH 2, 0.2 mL of H 2 O 2 , catalyst dose 0.3 g, room temperature (30 °C), and stirring speed 400 r/min. The catalyst has showed excellent stability and reusability. It could remove more than 85% of color even after four cycles of run and less than negligible leaching of iron. AMBC has good recycling ability among other modi ed catalysts. To check the selectivity of catalyst, di erent dyes such as Congo red and mixed dye (mixture of Azure B and Congo red) decolorization were studied. In the present work, kinetic study was also carried out and a three-stage decolorization process was found.

The penetration of renewable energy sources(RESs)in the distribution system becomes a challenge for the reliable and safe operation of the existing power *** sporadic characteristics of sustainable energy sources along with the random load variations greatly affect the power quality and stability of the ***,it requires storage systems with both high energy and high power handling capacity to coexist in *** efficient energy management structure is designed in this paper for a grid-connected PV system combined with hybrid storage of supercapacitor and *** combined supercapacitor and battery storage system grips the average and transient power changes,which provides a quick control for the DC-link voltage,i.e.,it stabilizes the system and helps achieve the PV power *** average power distribution between the power grid and battery is done by checking the state of charge(SOC)of a battery,and an effective and efficient energy management scheme is ***,the use of a supercapacitor lessens the current stress on the battery system during unexpected disparity in the generated power and load *** performance and efficacy of the proposed energy management scheme are justified by simulation studies.

This paper investigates the performance of geomembrane composites used as impervious and heat-insulating lining within a breakwater for a power station. The seepage field, distribution of stress-strain contour and seepage discharge of hot water which has been treated as the inner thermal source in the calculation of heat-insulation, have been given by three-dimensional calculation method coupling seepage with stress. The results indicate that the impervious and heat-insulation effect of geomembrane composites is significant.

To overcome the shortcomings of 1 D and 2 D Otsu’s thresholding techniques, the 3 D Otsu method has been *** all Otsu’s methods, 3 D Otsu technique provides the best threshold values for the multi-level thresholding processes. In this paper, to improve the quality of segmented images, a simple and effective multilevel thresholding method is introduced. The proposed approach focuses on preserving edge detail by computing the 3 D Otsu along the fusion phenomena. The advantages of the presented scheme include higher quality outcomes, better preservation of tiny details and boundaries and reduced execution time with rising threshold levels. The fusion approach depends upon the differences between pixel intensity values within a small local space of an image;it aims to improve localized information after the thresholding process. The fusion of images based on local contrast can improve image segmentation performance by minimizing the loss of local contrast, loss of details and gray-level distributions. Results show that the proposed method yields more promising segmentation results when compared to conventional1 D Otsu, 2 D Otsu and 3 D Otsu methods, as evident from the objective and subjective evaluations.

A new representation of spatio-temporal random processes is proposed in this *** practical applications,such processes are used to model velocity fields,temperature distributions,response of vibrating systems,to name a *** an efficient representation for any random process leads to encapsulation of information which makes it more convenient for a practical implementations,for instance,in a computational mechanics *** a single-parameter process such as spatial or temporal process,the eigenvalue decomposition of the covariance matrix leads to the well-known Karhunen-Lo`eve(KL)***,for multiparameter processes such as a spatio-temporal process,the covariance function itself can be defined in multiple *** the process is assumed to be measured at a finite set of spatial locations and a finite number of time *** the spatial covariance matrix at different time instants are considered to define the covariance of the *** set of square,symmetric,positive semi-definite matrices is then represented as a thirdorder tensor.A suitable decomposition of this tensor can identify the dominant components of the process,and these components are then used to define a closed-form representation of the *** procedure is analogous to the KL decomposition for a single-parameter process,however,the decompositions and interpretations vary *** tensor decompositions are successfully applied on(i)a heat conduction problem,(ii)a vibration problem,and(iii)a covariance function taken from the literature that was fitted to model a measured wind velocity *** is observed that the proposed representation provides an efficient approximation to some ***,a comparison with KL decomposition showed that the proposed method is computationally cheaper than the KL,both in terms of computer memory and execution time.
