The prevalence of obesity has increased and is a health concern *** to the concerns regarding synthetic anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural products become a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effect of crude polysaccharide of amyloglucosidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum thunbergii(STAc)and its fucoidan fractions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet(hFD)-induced obese mice were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose content and exhibited significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation by downregulating adipogenic and lipogenic proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAc significantly declined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid contents in an hFD-induced obesity mouse *** and chemical characterizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has consistent surface morphology and small particle size,with similar structural characteristics as commercial ***,these results indicate that STAc and purified STAF3 from Sargassum thunbergia is a potent source to develop as ananti-obesity agents or functional food products to counter obesity.

convexification of hybrid Ac-Dc Optimal Power Flow with Line-commutated converters

Line-commutated converter (Lcc)-based high-voltage Dc (hVDc) systems have been integrated with bulk Ac power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. The nonlinear Lcc model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of hybrid Ac-Dc power grids. A convexification method for the Lcc station model could address such nonconvexity but has rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical Lcc station models that facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for the OPF of Lcc-based Ac-Dc power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with its proof. Equivalence of the proposed Lcc station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of the original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

Shell-model representations of the microscopic version of the Bohr–Mottelson collective model

The structure of the irreducible collective spaces of the group Sp（12, R）, which many-particle nuclear states are classified according to the chain Sp（12, R） ? U（6） ? SO（6） ? SUpn（3） ■SO（2） ? SO（3） of the proton–neutron symplectic model（PNSM）, is considered in detail. This chain of the PNSM was recently shown to correspond to a microscopic shell-model version of the Bohr–Mottelson collective model. The construction of the relevant shell-model representations of the Sp（12, R） group along this chain is considered for three nuclei with varying collective properties and from different mass regions. It is shown that the SUpn（3） basis states of the Sp（12, R） representations belonging to the SO（6） irreps with seniority υ ≥ υ0, with υ0denoting the maximal seniority SO（6） irrep contained in the Sp（12, R） bandhead, are always Pauli allowed, but organized in a different way into different SO（6） shells. This is in contrast to the case of filling the levels of the standard three-dimensional harmonic oscillator and using the plethysm operation. Although the SUpn（3） multiplets within υ card them. The results obtained in the present work are important for the practical application of the microscopic version of the Bohr–Mottelson collective model.

holographic dark energy in non-conserved gravity theory

Recently, reconsidering the Rastall idea T_(μ;νν)^(v)=α_(,μ) through relativistic thermodynamics gives a new form for the scalar field α which led us to construct modern modified theory of gravity debugged ‘non-conserved gravity theory’ Fazlollahi 2023 Euro. Phys. J. c 83 923. This theory unlike other modified theories of gravity cannot directly explain the current acceleration expansion in the absence of the cosmological constant and or existence of other forms of dark energy. hence, in this study we have reinvestigated holographic dark energy Ρ_(X)~h^(2) in the non-conserved theory of gravity. In this context, the density and pressure of dark energy depend on the non-conserved term and density of the dust matter field. As shown, due to non-conservation effects on large-scale structures, unlike the original holographic model, our model onsets an acceleration epoch for the current Universe satisfies observations. Moreover, the interaction and viscous scenarios are studied for this model.
