Composition and molecular mass distribution of n-alkanes in asphaltenes of crude oils of different ages and in wax deposits formed in the borehole equipment were studied. In asphaltenes, n-alkanes from C12 to C60 were detected. The high molecular weight paraffins in asphaltenes would form a crystalline phase with a melting point of 80–90 ℃. The peculiarities of the redistribution of high molecular paraffin hydrocarbons between oil and the corresponding wax deposit were detected. In the oils, the high molecular weight paraffinic hydrocarbons C50–C60were found, which were not practically detected in the corresponding wax deposits.

The analysis of stability and numerical simulation of Costas loop circuits for the high-frequency signals is a challenging task. The problem lies in the fact that it is necessary to observe very fast time scale of input signals and slow time scale of signal s phases simultaneously. To overcome this difficulty, it is possible to follow the classical ideas of Gardner and viterbi to construct a mathematical model of Costas loop, in which only slow time change of signal s phases and frequencies is considered. Such an construction, in turn,requires the computation of phase detector characteristic, depending on the waveforms of the considered signals. In this paper, the problems of nonlinear analysis of Costas loops and the approaches to the simulation of the classical Costas loop, the quadrature phase shift keying(QPSK) Costas loop, and the two-phase Costas loop are discussed. The analytical method for the computation of phase detector characteristics of Costas loops is described.

We introduce a concept of episode referring to a time interval in the development of a dynamic phenomenon that is characterized by multiple time-variant attributes.A data structure representing a single episode is a multivariate time *** analyse collections of episodes,we propose an approach that is based on recognition of particular patterns in the temporal variation of the variables within *** episode is thus represented by a combination of *** this representation,we apply visual analytics techniques to fulfil a set of analysis tasks,such as investigation of the temporal distribution of the patterns,frequencies of transitions between the patterns in episode sequences,and co-occurrences of patterns of different variables within same *** demonstrate our approach on two examples using real-world data,namely,dynamics of human mobility indicators during the COvID-19 pandemic and characteristics of football team movements during episodes of ball turnover.

various metallic structures of complex shape resembling living plant organisms （biomimetics） are produced as a result of self-assembly of nanowires growing on porous membranes in the course of pulse current electrodeposition. These structures occur if the electroplating is continued after the nanowires appear on the membrane surface. By varying the membrane ge- ometry, pulse current electroplating parameters, and alternating electrodeposition from two baths composed of a variety of electrolytes, diverse models were fabricated, including a hollow container with a wall thickness of 10 nm 20 nm. This biomimetic method suggests an analogy between the shape-forming processes of plants and their metallic models. Nanostruc- tured mesostructures of various metals （Ag, Pd, Ni）, alloys （PdNi, Pbln） and hybrid structures .（PdNi/Pb, PdNi/Pbln） were obtained. They can be of interest for fundamental research （self-assembly, morphogenesis） as well as for applications in nanotechnology （catalysis, nanoplasmonics, medicine, superhydrophobic surfaces）.

The goal of this work was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Red Light Emitted Toothbrush(R-LETB)emitting at wavelength of 663 nm with power density of 3.3mW/cm2 in combination with 0.1%-methylene blue(MB)solution for the reduction of plaque and treatment of gingivitis.A microbiological in vitro study and a pilot clinical study were *** microbiological study has shown total suppression of pathogenicflora after a 3-min exposure to the dye solution followed by a 20-sec treatment with the *** the clinical study,37 subjects of both sexes with gingivitis were enrolled and randomly assigned to one of two *** in thefirst(treatment)group were instructed to rinse their mouth with MB solution provided for 1 min and then brush the teeth with the R-LETB and standardized *** second(control)group used only the toothpaste and a regular *** in both groups followed their respective procedures 2 times a day(morning and evening)for 30 *** of plaque,gingival bleeding,and inflammation were evaluated at 14-day and 30-day *** the both groups,all indices improved in comparison with ***,the treatment group demonstrated more pronounced improvement of the studied indices that was attributed to additional anti-microbial action of red light and MB on gum ***,the use of R-LETB with MB appears to have a multifactor therapeutic action on oral pathological microflora:mechanical removal of the bacteria and suppressing action on microorganisms due to photodynamic reaction.
