In this paper,nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots(N-gQDs)were combined with gadolinium ions(gd^(3+))by a surface modification to obtain magneto-optical dual-functional N-gQDs/gd^(3+)*** morphology of obtained composite was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** and magnetic properties were measured by a fluorescence spectrophotometer and a vibrating sample magnetometer,*** indicate that well-dispersed spherical N-gQDs/gd^(3+)nanoparticles have an average diameter of 7 nm.N-doping significantly increases the luminesce nce of particles with an optimal luminescence intensity at 20℃and pH=9.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results indicate that the N-doping introduces pyrrolic N as an electron donor,enhancing fluorescence by increasing the surface electron cloud density of *** addition,density functional theory calculation results reveal that N-doping reduces the band gap of NgQDs/gd^(3+),enabling electronic transitions to higher energy levels and generating more activation sites,thereby enhancing *** to N-gQDs/gd^(3+)prepared at 20℃,the saturated magnetization of particles prepared at 40℃is 0.85 emu/g,indicating a better magnetic *** above results suggest that bifunctional nanomaterials N-gQDs/gd^(3+)with excellent optical properties and magnetism can be better used for fluorescence and magnetic resonance imaging.

SFgA-CPA: A Novel Screening Correlation Power Analysis Framework Based on genetic Algorithm

Correlation power analysis(CPA)combined with genetic algorithms(gA)now achieves greater attack efficiency and can recover all subkeys ***,two issues in gA-based CPA still need to be addressed:key degeneration and slow evolution within *** challenges significantly hinder key recovery *** paper proposes a screening correlation power analysis framework combined with a genetic algorithm,named SFgA-CPA,to address these ***-CPA introduces three operations designed to exploit CPA characteris-tics:propagative operation,constrained crossover,and constrained ***,the propagative operation accelerates population evolution by maximizing the number of correct bytes in each ***,the constrained crossover and mutation operations effectively address key degeneration by preventing the compromise of correct ***,an intelligent search method is proposed to identify optimal parameters,further improving attack *** were conducted on both simulated environments and real power traces collected from the SAKURA-g *** the case of simulation,SFgA-CPA reduces the number of traces by 27.3%and 60%compared to CPA based on multiple screening methods(MS-CPA)and CPA based on simple gA method(SgA-CPA)when the success rate reaches 90%.Moreover,real experimental results on the SAKURA-g platform demonstrate that our approach outperforms other methods.

The diffusion,adsorption/desorption behaviors of water molecules and hydrogen molecules are of great importance in heterogeneous photocatalytic hydrogen *** the study of structure-property-performance relationships,nanoconfined space provides an ideal platform to promote mass diffusion and transfer due to their extraordinary properties that are different from the bulk ***,we designed and prepared a nanoconfined CdS@SiO_(2)-NH_(2) nanoreactor,whose shell is composed of amino-functionalized silica nanochannels,and encapsulates spherical CdS as a photocatalyst *** and simulated results reveal that the amino-functionalized nanochannels promote water molecules’and hydrogen molecules’directional diffusion and *** molecules are enriched in the nanocavity between the core and the shell,and promote the interfacial photocatalytic *** a result,the maximized water enrichment and minimized hydrogen-occupied active sites enable photocatalyst with optimized mass transfer kinetics and localization electron distribution on the CdS surface,leading to superior hydrogen production performance with activity as high as 37.1 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1).

Medium-entropy oxides(MEos)with broad compositional tunability and entropy-driven structural stability,are receiving booming attention as a promising candidate for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)***,ultrathin two-dimensional(2D)nanostructure offers extremely large specific surface area and is therefore considered to be an ideal catalyst ***,it remains a grant challenge to synthesize ultrathin 2D MEos due to distinct nucleation and growth kinetics of constituent multimetallic elements in 2D anisotropic *** this work,an ultrathin 2D MEO(MnFeCoNi)O was successfully synthesized by a facile and low-temperature ionic layer epitaxy *** from multi-metal synergistic effects within ultrathin 2D nanostructure,this 2D MEO(MnFeCoNi)O revealed excellent OER electrocatalytic performance with a quite low overpotential of 117 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and an impressive stability for 120 h continuous operation with only 6.9%***,the extremely high mass activity(5584.3 A·g^(-1))was three orders of magnitude higher than benchmark RuO_(2)(3.4 A·g^(-1))at the same overpotential of 117 *** work opens up a new avenue for developing highly efficient and stable electrocatalysts by creating 2D nanostructured MEos.

We report the development of a head-mounted photoacoustic fiberscope for cerebral imaging in a freely behaving *** 4.5-gram imaging probe has a 9-µm lateral resolution and 0.2-Hz frame rate over a 1.2-mm wide *** probe can continuously monitor cerebral oxygenation and hemodynamic responses at single-vessel resolution,showing significantly different cerebrovascular responses to external stimuli under anesthesia and in the freely moving *** example,when subjected to high-concentration CO_(2) respiration,enhanced oxygenation to compensate for hypercapnia can be visualized due to cerebral regulation in the freely moving *** studies exhibit significantly weakened compensation capabilities in obese *** new imaging modality can be used for investigating both normal and pathological cerebrovascular functions and shows great promise for studying cerebral activity,disorders and their treatments.

The spent lithium-ion batteries recovery has been brought into focus widely for its environmental imperatives and potential profits from the metal components,such as lithium,cobalt,nickel and ***,the weaker pollution and fewer profits of LiMn2O4cathode dispel the enthusiasm and responsibility of industry ***,a simplified and efncient method to regenerate the sodium-ion cathode materials and separate Li from spent LiMn2O4materials for the profit improvement is *** detail,adjusting the parameters of carbothermal reduction process appropriately,the LiMn2O4spinel structure is destroyed within a short period time and transformed into simple metal *** anticipated,nearly 95 wt.%lithium can be obtained and recovered during the water leaching,while 99 wt.% of manganese can be extracted in acid *** that the leaching residue can return to the carbothermic reduction,leading to a closed-loop economic recycling *** regenerated Na0.67Ni0.3Mn0.7O2cathode displays excellent electrochemical performance with superior cycling stability(the initial capacity reaches 95.9 mAh·g-1,and the retention rate reached 98.3% after 100 cycles at 1 C).The delicate strategy of sodium-ion cathode material regenerated from spent LiMn2O4aims to realize lithium separation and material utilization of manganese simultaneously,providing the instructive suggestion to rise up the recycling profits of spent batteries.

Advancing high-voltage stability of layered sodium-ion oxides represents a pivotal avenue for their progress in energy storage *** this,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms underpinning their structural deterioration at elevated voltages remains insufficiently *** this study,we unveil a layer delamination phenomenon of Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.3)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NNM)within the 2.0-4.3 V voltage,attributed to considerable volumetric fluctuations along the c-axis and lattice oxygen reactions induced by the simultaneous Ni^(3+)/Ni^(4+)and anion redox *** introducing Mg doping to diminished Ni-O antibonding,the anion oxidation-reduction reactions are effectively mitigated,and the structural integrity of the P2 phase remains firmly intact,safeguarding active sites and precluding the formation of novel *** Na_(0.67)Mg_(0.05)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NMNM-5)exhibits a specific capacity of100.7 mA h g^(-1),signifying an 83%improvement compared to the NNM material within the voltage of2.0-4.3 *** investigation underscores the intricate interplay between high-voltage stability and structural degradation mechanisms in layered sodium-ion oxides.

N-doping has significant influence in manipulating the properties of TiO_(2),and this has stimulated the development of N-donor-functionalized titanium-oxo clusters(TOCs)as molecular models to study the structure-property ***,the structural type and photoresponsive application are still limited for such TOCs,especially regarding the high-nuclearity TOCs that contain structure unit of TiO_(2)for ***,we showed the synthesis of a series of high-nuclearity TOCs 1-3 compounds usingπ-conjugated 1,10-phenanthroline(phen)as chromophore and N-donor functional *** 1 features cocrystal structure composed of one[Ti_(26)]~(2+)and half[Ti_(22)]~(2+),which renders it as the first cocrystallized TOC containing two positively charged species and phen-functionalized TOC showing the highest nuclearity up to 37 Ti *** adjusting the synthetic conditions,the individual{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)}clusters can also be isolated as Compounds 2 and 3,*** core structure of{Ti_(22)}is mainly constructed from four lacunary{Ti_(4)}derived from pentagonal{Ti(Ti)_5}unit,while{Ti_(26)}is built from four complete{Ti(Ti)_5}***,a{Ti_8O_(14)}structure unit of anatase TiO_(2)can be identified in{Ti_(26)}.Based on the unique structural features and proper photophysical and photochemical properties of Compounds 1-3,they are applied for photocatalytic *** to the presence of anatase structure unit in{Ti_(26)}and the synergistic effect from{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)},the catalytic performance presents in the order of Compound 1>Compound 3>Compound *** work provides excellent models to understand the structureproperty relationship from the perspective of cocrystallization and Ti-O binding model and will further promote the application of TOCs as functional catalysts for organic transformation.
