Purpose-In order to prevent accidents during driving,driver drowsiness detection systems have become a hot topic for *** are various types of features that can be used to detect *** can be done by utilizing behavioral data,physiological measurements and vehicle-based *** existing deep convolutional neural network(CNN)models-based ensemble approach analyzed the behavioral data comprises eye or face or head movement captured by using a camera images or ***,the developed model suffered from the limitation of high computational cost because of the application of approximately 140million ***/methodology/approach-The proposed model uses significant feature parameters from the feature extraction process such as ReliefF,Infinite,Correlation,Term Variance are used for feature *** features that are selected are undergone for classification using ensemble ***-The output of these models is classified into non-drowsiness or drowsiness *** limitations/implications-In this research work higher end camera are required to collect videos as it is ***,researches are encouraged to use the existing *** implications-This paper overcomes the earlier *** developed model used complex deep learning models on small dataset which would also extract additional features,thereby provided a more satisfying ***/value-Drowsiness can be detected at the earliest using ensemble model which restricts the number of accidents.

Objective:The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of liver diseases on serum Lp(a) levels and also to study the relationship between Lp(a) levels with other lipid parameters and liver function tests in 32 hyperbilirubinemia patients with total bilirubin>3mg/*** results were compared with 20 healthy age matched individuals. Methods:Serum obtained from venous blood sample are used for estimating total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(Tg),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c ), very low density lipoprotein cholesterol(VLDL-c),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,aspartate amino tranferase(AST),alanine amino transferase(ALT),alkaline phosphatase(ALP), gamma glutamyl transferase(ggT),lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)],serum ***:There was significant decrease in serum Lp(a) levels in liver disease patients and the decrease was direcdy correlated with reduced serum albumin levels and inversely with liver function ***:Thus the present study indicates hepatic synthetic damage has possible biochemical basis for the reduction of serum Lp(a)

Objective:To evaluate the prescribing pattern of anti malarial drugs in a tertiary care hospital. Methods:A prospective cross-sectional study was conducted for 6 months of patients visiting in Basaveshwar Teaching and general Hospital,*** were analyzed for various drug use ***:A total of 212 prescriptions were collected,with 136(64.15%) male and 76(35.85%) *** were 128(60.37%) Plasmodium vivax cases and 84(39.63%) Plasmodium falciparum *** Plasmodium vivax cases were treated with chloroquine alone and among these 16(12.5%) recieved radical treatment with primaquine along with *** 84 patients with Pasmodium falciparum,40 patients received single drug such as quinine/ mefloquinine/artesunate/*** 44 patients received multidrug regime like,quinine+artesunate(54.54%),quinine+mefloquine(27.27%) and quinine+arteether (18.18%).Chloroquine was not administered to any of the patients with Plasmodium falciparum *** most common adverse effects with chloroquine were anorexia,nausea,vomiting and tinnitus in 9.37% of the *** quinine it was nausea and vomiting in 17.64% ,tinnitus in 11.76% and hypoglycemia in 2.1% of ***:Our study found the perennial favorites like chloroquine for Plasmodium vivax and quinine for Plasmodium falciparum were the most effective *** the severe Plasmodium falciparum cases the artesunate derivatives and combination of artesunate with quinine/mefloquine were most effective with fewer incidences of side effects.

Aim: To evaluate the antifertility activity of various extracts of Crotalaria juncea seeds in male mice. Methods: Adult male mice were gavaged the petroleum ether, benzene and ethanol extracts of C. juncea seeds, 25 mg·(100g)-1·day-1 for 30 days. On day 31 the animals were sacrificed by cervical dislocation and the testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate gland, bulbourethral gland and levator ani were dissected out and weighed. The organs were processed for biochemical and histological examination. Results: In petroleum ether, benzene and ethanol extracts treated rats, there was a decrease in the weights of testis and accessory reproductive organs. The diameters of the testis and seminiferous tubules were decreased. Spermatogonia, spermatocytes and spermatids in the testis and the sperm count in cauda epididymis were also decreased. There was a significant reduction in the protein and glycogen contents and an increase in the cholesterol content in the testis, epididymis and vas deferens. Of the 3 extracts, the ethanol extract appeared to be the most potent in antispermatogenic activity. When the ethanol extract was tested in immature male mice, there was an antiandrogenic effect as the weights of accessory organs were reduced. Conclusion: The various extracts of C. juncea seeds arrest spermatogenesis and are likely to have an antiandrogenic activity.

Effect of EXAFS on the dosimetric related parameters

Mass attenuation coefficients have been meas-ured for rare earth compounds at photon energies 8.041, 8.907 and 13.347 keV. The measured values are compared with theoretical calculations. The agreement between experiment and theory is more than the experimental error when the incident photon energy is around the edge of the element present in the compound and agreeing with the theoretical values elsewhere. The difference in agreement between the theoretical values and experimental values is attributed to the EXAFS effects on the mass attenuation coefficient values.
