Due to the wide application of rare earth elements,lanthanum(la) is gradually accumulated in our living *** can enter the body through a variety of routes,which has a series of effects on various *** a consequence,the safety of lanthanum deserves our *** study aims to compare the toxicity of lanthanum oxide nanoparticles(la_(2)O_(3) Nps) and lanthanum chloride(laCl_(3)) and enrich the toxicity evaluation of ***,a 30 d intragastal experiment was conducted.C57Bl/6j mice were given by la_(2)O_(3) Nps solution and laCl_(3) solution respectively at doses of 0,30,60 and120 mg/kg BW(lanthanum content).the results show that,compared with the control group,both la_(2)O_(3)Nps and laCl_(3) can reduce the body weight of female mice in the high-dose group,but for male mice,the high-dose la_(2)O_(3) Nps solution can increase the body weight,while laCl_(3) has the opposite *** coefficients of liver,kidney,heart,lung,uterine and ovaries increase first and then decrease with the exposure dose,but testes and epididymides coefficient keep increasing with the exposure of laCl_(3) and la_(2)O_(3) ***_(2)O_(3) Nps and laCl_(3) can reduce the concentration of triglycerides(tg) and increase the level of low density lipoprotein(lDl),but the effect of la_(2)O_(3) Nps is more ***_(2)O_(3) Nps and laCl_(3) can reduce the concentration of malondialdehyde(MDA),increase the total antioxidant capacity(t-AOC)and enhance the activity of catalase(CAt),but laCl_(3) has more obvious protective effects on oxidative ***_(2)O_(3) Nps and laCl_(3) have potential risks to liver,and the toxicity of la_(2)O_(3) Nps might be higher than that of laCl_(3).

In-memory computing(IMC), leveraging emerging memories, holds significant promise in overcoming memory limitations and improving energy efficiency. However, the prevailing IMC array structure based on serially connected transistors and memory cells(1t1R/2t2R), along with the signed weight mapping scheme, can lead to asymmetrical weight sensing issues(AWs) due to electrical asymmetry within the1t1R/2t2R structure, particularly in highly scaled cells where the transistor's resistance becomes significant. In this paper, we propose and fabricate an electrically symmetric memory cell based on a physically isolated 2t2R structure for IMC. this design aims to enhance the precision and density of RRAM-based IMC arrays. the 2t2R cells are manufactured using the back-end-of-line(BEOl) process of a commercial40 nm technology platform. the feasibility of this design is verified through measured and simulated results,showcasing its capability to address the issue of AWs. Compared to conventional 2t2R cells, this design achieves a considerably smaller transistor footprint without compromising accuracy, while also improving integration density by 42.2%. these innovative memory cell advancements have the potential to further advance high-energy-efficient IMC technology.

Integrated switches play a crucial role in the development of reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexers(ROADMs)that have greater flexibility and compactness,ultimately leading to robust single-chip *** decades of research on switches with various structures and platforms,achieving a balance between dense integration,low insertion loss(Il),and polarization-dependent loss(pDl)remains a significant *** this paper,we propose and demonstrate a 32×4 optical switch using high-index doped silica glass(HDsg)for ROADM *** switch is designed to route any of the 32 inputs to the express ports or drop any channels from 32 inputs to the target 4 drop ports or add any of the 4 ports to any of the 32 express *** switch comprises 188 MachZehnder Interferometer(MZI)type switch elements,88 optical vias for the 44 optical bridges,and 618 waveguidewaveguide crossings with three-dimensional(3D)*** 1550 nm,the fiber-to-fiber loss for each express channel is below 2 dB,and across the C and l bands,below 3 *** each input channel to all 4 drop/add channels at 1550 nm,the loss is less than 3.5 dB and less than 5 dB across the C and l *** pDls for all express and input channels to the 4 drop/add channels are below 0.3 dB over the C band,and the crosstalk is under−50 dB for both the C and l bands.

the investigation concentrates on friction stir welded(FsW)Al-Cu-li alloy concerning its local microstructural evolution and mechanical *** grain features were characterized by electron back scattered diffraction(EBsD)technology,while precipitate characterization was conducted by using transmission electron microscopy(tEM)aligned along[011]Al and[001]Al zone *** mechanical properties are evaluated through micro-hardness and tensile *** can be found that nugget zones exhibit finely equiaxed grains evolved through complete dynamic recrystallization(DRx),primarily occurring in continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRx)and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRx).In the thermal-mechanically affected zone(tMAZ),numerous sub-structured grains,exhibiting an elongated morphology,were created due to partial DRx,signifying the dominance of CDRx,DDRx,and geometric dynamic recrystallization(gDRx)in this region.t_(1)completely dissolves in the nugget zone(NZ)leading to the formation of guinier-preston zones and increase ofδ′,β′and s′.Conversely,t_(1)partially solubilizes in tMAZ,the lowest hardness zone(lHZ)and heat affected zone(HAZ),and the residual t_(1)undergoes marked coarsening,revealing various t_(1)*** solubilization and coarsening of t_(1)are primary contributors to the degradation of hardness and strength.θ′primarily dissolves and coarsens in NZ and tMAZ,whilst this precipitate largely coarsens in HAZ and lHZ.σ,tB,grain boundary phases(gBps)and precipitate-free zone(pFZ)are newly generated during FsW.σexists in the tMAZ,lHZ and HAZ,whereas tB nucleates in *** and pFZ mostly develop in lHZ and HAZ,which can cause strain localization during tensile deformation,potentially leading to lHZ joint fracture.

BACkgROUND Cardiovascular disease has been the leading cause of morbidity and mortality for type 2 diabetes mellitus(t2DM)patients over the last *** to determine whether layer-specific global longitudinal strain(gls)combined with peak strain dispersion(psD)can be used to assess left ventricle(lV)myocardium systolic dysfunction in t2DM patients or without hypertension(Hp).MEtHODs We enrolled 97 t2DM patients,70 t2DM+Hp patients and 101 healthy ***-specific gls and psD were calculated by EchopAC software in apical three-,four-and two-chamber *** of the epimyocardial,middle-layer and endomyocardial(glsepi,glsmid,and glsendo)were measured and *** operating characteristic analysis was performed to detect lV myocardium systolic dysfunction in t2DM *** there were significant differences in glsepi,glsmid,glsendo,and psD between healthy subjects,t2DM patients and t2DM patients with Hp(ptrend tests yielded the ranking of healthy subjects>t2DM patients>t2DM with Hp patients in the absolute values of glsepi,glsmid and glsendo(ple psD was ranked healthy subjectst2DMt2DM with Hp(player-specific gls and psD had high diagnostic efficiency for detecting lV myocardium systolic dysfunction in t2DM patients,however,the area under the curve(AUC)for layer-specific gls and psD combined was significantly higher than the AUCs for the individual indices(plUsION layer-specific gls and psD were associated with lV myocardium systolic dysfunction in t2DM patients,t2DM patients with Hp.t2DM patients with Hp have more severe lV myocardium systolic dysfunction than t2DM patients without Hp and normal control *** combination of layer-specific gls and psD may provide additional prognostic information for t2DM patients with or without Hp.

Methane dominated gas is one of the cleanest energy resources;however, there is no direct method to determine its source rock. Natural gases produced from the eastern sichuan Basin together with seismic data were studied for their sources and secondary alteration by thermochemical sulfate reduction(tsR). Our results demonstrate that Upper permian to lower triassic(p_(3)ch-t_(1)f) gases in the surrounding of the kaijiang-liangping area show volatile organic sulfur compounds(VOsCs) δ^(34)s values close to those of the associated H_(2)s, and may have been altered by methane-dominated tsR, resulting in positive shift in methane δ^(13)C_(1)values with increasing tsR extents. Other(or group 2) gases produced from the p_(3)ch-t_(1)f reservoirs from the southern area and the Upper Carboniferous to Middle permian(C_(2)h-p_(2)q) from the eastern sichuan Basin are not significantly changed by tsR, show similar δ^(34)s values between the kerogens and some VOsCs, and may have been derived from the lower silurian and Middle permian source rocks. this study demonstrates a case for the first time showing the δ^(34)s values of VOsCs can be used as a tool for direct correlation between non-tsR altered gas and source rocks. Methane-dominated gas pools can be found using gas and source rock geochemistry combined with seismic data.

Despite the promising prospects of nanoparticles in oral drug delivery,the process of oral administration involves a complex transportation pathway that includes cellular uptake,intracellular trafficking,and exocytosis by intestinal epithelial cells,which are necessary steps for nanoparticles to enter the bloodstream and exert therapeutic *** researchers have identified several crucial factors that regulate the interaction between nanoparticles and intestinal epithelial cells,including surface properties such as ligand modification,surface charge,hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity,intestinal protein corona formation,as well as holistic properties like particle size,shape,and *** these properties is essential for enhancing transepithelial transport efficiency and designing effective oral drug delivery ***,this review provides a comprehensive overview of the surface and holistic properties that influence the transepithelial transport of nanoparticles,elucidating the underlying principles governing their impact on transepithelial *** review also outlines the chosen of parameters to be considered for the subsequent design of oral drug delivery systems.

Valleytronic materials can provide new degrees of freedom to future electronic *** this work,the concepts of the ferrovalley metal(FVM)and valley gapless semiconductor(Vgs)are proposed,which can be achieved in valleytronic bilayer systems by electric field *** valleytronic bilayer systems,the interaction between out-of-plane ferroelectricity and A-type antiferromagnetism can induce layer-polarized anomalous valley Hall(lp-AVH)*** k and−k valleys of FVM are both metallic,and electron and hole carriers simultaneously *** the extreme case,the FVM can become Vgs by analogizing spin gapless semiconductor(sgs).Moreover,it is proposed that the valley splitting enhancement and valley polarization reversal can be achieved by electric field engineering in valleytronic bilayer *** the bilayer RuBr_(2)as an example,our proposal is confirmed by the first-principle *** FVM and Vgs can be achieved in bilayer RuBr_(2)by applying electric *** appropriate electric field range,increasing electric field can enhance valley splitting,and the valley polarization can be reversed by flipping electric field *** effectively tune valley properties by electric field in bilayer systems,the parent monolayer should possess out-of-plane magnetization,and have large valley *** results shed light on the possible role of electric field in tuning valleytronic bilayer systems,and provide a way to design the ferrovalley-related material by electric field.
