Purpose–The two main purposes of this paper are:first,the development of a new optimization algorithm called gHSACO by incorporating the global-best harmony search(gHS)which is a stochastic optimization algorithm recently developed,with the ant colony optimization(ACO)***,design of a new indirect adaptive recurrent fuzzy-neural controller(IARFNNC)for uncertain nonlinear systems using the developed optimization method(gHSACO)and the concept of the supervisory ***/methodology/approach–The novel optimization method introduces a novel improvization process,which is different from that of the gHS in the following aspects:a modified harmony memory representation and *** use of a global random switching mechanism to monitor the choice between the ACO and *** additional memory consideration selection rule using the ACO random proportional transition rule with a pheromone trail update *** developed optimization method is applied for parametric optimization of all recurrent fuzzy neural networks adaptive controller *** addition,in order to guarantee that the system states are confined to the safe region,a supervisory controller is incorporated into the IARFNNC global ***–First,to analyze the performance of gHSACO method and shows its effectiveness,some benchmark functions with different dimensions are *** results demonstrate that it can find significantly better solutions when compared with the Harmony Search(HS),gHS,improved HS(IHS)and conventional ACO *** addition,simulation results obtained using an example of nonlinear system shows clearly the feasibility and the applicability of the proposed control method and the superiority of the gHSACO method compared to the HS,its variants,particle swarm optimization,and genetic algorithms applied to the same ***/value–The proposed new gHS algorithm is more efficient than the original HS method and its most known variants

Food legumes comprise all legumes grown for human food in China as either dry grains or vegetables,except for soybean and *** has a vast territory with complex ecological ***,intercropping,and mixed cropping involving pulses are normal cropping systems in *** indigenous or introduced crops,pulses have played an important role in Chinese cropping systems and made an important contribution to food resources for humans since ancient *** six major food legume species(pea,faba bean,common bean,mung bean,adzuki bean,and cowpea) are the most well-known pulses in China,as well as those with more local distributions;runner bean,lima bean,chickpea,lentil,grass pea,lupine,rice bean,black gram,hyacinth bean,pigeon pea,velvet bean,winged bean,guar bean,sword bean,and jack *** has remained the world's leading producer of peas,faba beans,mung beans,and adzuki beans in recent decades,as documented by FAO statistics and China Agriculture Statistical *** demand for food legumes as a healthy food will markedly increase with the improvement of living standards in *** China officially joined the World Trade Organization(WTO) in2001,imports of pea from Canada and Australia have rapidly increased,resulting in reduced prices for dry pea and other food *** reduced profits for food legume crops,their sowing area and total production has decreased within *** the same time,the rising consumer demand for vegetable food legumes as a healthy food has led to attractive market prices and sharp production increases in *** food legumes have reduced growing duration and enable flexibility in cropping *** the future,production of dry food legumes will range from stable to slowly decreasing,while production of vegetable food legumes will continue to increase.

Background and Aims:Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP)is a serious complication of liver cirrhosis and a prognostic model to predict it is *** study was designed to test the ability of different laboratory tests and the new scoring system by Wehmeyer and colleagues(consisting of age,C-reactive protein(CRP)and platelet count)to predict ***:Three-hundred patients admitted to the National Liver Institute,University of Menoufia,Egypt(2015-2016)with liver cirrhosis and ascites were included in our *** was diagnosed if ascetic neutrophil count was≥250/μL with no sign of secondary ***:The patient population had age range of 29-81 years old,was 60%men and showed a majority(91.7%)with primary cause of liver disease being hepatitis *** univariate analysis,associations with age,total bilirubin,aspartate aminotransferase level,creatinine level,international normalized ratio,model for endstage liver disease score,total leucocytic count,platelet count and CRP level were *** multivariate analysis,independent predictors were age,platelet count and CRP level(p=0.004,0.013 andg/L could predict SBP(sensitivity of 86.4%and specificity of 66.0%).Wehmeyer's SBP scoring system was predictive(pg/L),while 92.8%with score of 3 or 4 developed *** using our modified Wehmeyer score with CRP cut-off value of 13.5 mg/L,no patient with 0 score developed ***:Age,CRP level and platelet count are independent predictors for SBP and a scoring system including them could easily predict the *** diagnosis could be excluded in patients with 0 score,using CRP cut-off value of 13.5 mg/L.

In the last decade,there has been an increasing interest in understanding the effects of changing injected water salinity on the performance of oil *** paper aims to investigate the effects of injected water salinity on oil recovery of an Egyptian oil reservoir(Bahariya formation).An experimental work program has been performed using 25 core plugs and 5 different water salinities to study the effects of changing water salinity during both secondary and tertiary stages of *** objectives of the experimental work were to(1)investigate the effects of the low water salinity on oil recovery and(2)identify the optimum water salinity and the main reservoir parameters for application of low salinity waterflooding project(LSWF)in Bahariya *** results revealed that there is an optimum salinity for waterflooding in the secondary flooding ***,for the tertiary flooding stage,the results showed that the controlling factor is not decreasing the salinity,but rather changing the salinity(*** increasing or decreasing).It was also clear that applying the optimum salinity in the secondary recovery stage is more effective than applying it in the tertiary recovery ***,the results showed that the positive impact of LSWF may be expected in reservoirs with high amount of kaolinite,high values of CEC,and low amounts of plagioclase *** study is an original contribution to develop guidelines for designing optimum salinity waterflooding projects in sandstone reservoirs.

Big data is a vast amount of structured and unstructured data that must be dealt with on a regular *** reduction is the process of converting a huge set of data into data with tiny dimensions so that equal information may be expressed *** tactics are frequently utilized to improve classification or regression challenges while dealing with machine learning *** achieve dimensionality reduction for huge data sets,this paper offers a hybrid particle swarm optimization-rough set PSO-RS and Mayfly algorithm-rough set MA-RS.A novel hybrid strategy based on the Mayfly algorithm(MA)and the rough set(RS)is proposed in *** performance of the novel hybrid algorithm MA-RS is evaluated by solving six different data sets from the *** simulation results and comparison with common reduction methods demonstrate the proposed MARS algorithm’s capacity to handle a wide range of data ***,the rough set approach,as well as the hybrid optimization techniques PSO-RS and MARS,were applied to deal with the massive data ***-hybrid RS’s method beats other classic dimensionality reduction techniques,according to the experimental results and statistical testing studies.

The demand for duck meat, duck eggs, and associated products is increasing each year. Classic and modern selection programs have been applied to enhance the economic traits of ducks to satisfy the requirements of consumers and enhance the incomes of producers. The nutritional requirements of unselected ducks may not be adequate, however, to fulfill the potential productivity performance of modern birds, including both meat-type and egg-type ducks. In particular, an imbalanced diet is associated with low productive performance and signs of nutritional deficiency（if insufficient nutrients are supplied）, as well as with high feed costs and manure problems that reflect flock health and welfare（if excessive nutrients are supplied）. Thus, the main aim of this review is to summarize the results of previous studies that estimated the nutrient requirements of meat-type and egg-type ducks in order to evaluate current knowledge and to identify further issues that need to be addressed. In addition,the results obtained in previous studies are compared in order to understand how to lower commercial feed costs,fulfill the genetic potential of selected ducks, protect the environment from pollution, and satisfy the welfare and health needs of ducks.

This paper proposes Parallelized Linear Time-Variant Acceleration Coefficients and Inertial Weight of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(PLTVACIW-PSO).Its designed has introduced the benefits of Parallel computing into the combined power of TVAC(Time-Variant Acceleration Coefficients)and IW(Inertial Weight).Proposed algorithm has been tested against linear,non-linear,traditional,andmultiswarmbased optimization *** experimental study is performed in two stages to assess the proposed *** I uses 12 recognized Standard Benchmarks methods to evaluate the comparative performance of the proposed PLTVACIWPSO *** based Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)algorithms,TVAC based PSO algorithms,traditional PSO,genetic algorithms(gA),Differential evolution(DE),and,finally,Flower Pollination(FP)*** phase II,the proposed PLTVACIW-PSO uses the same 12 known Benchmark functions to test its performance against the BAT(BA)and Multi-Swarm BAT *** phase III,the proposed PLTVACIW-PSO is employed to augment the feature selection problem formedical *** experimental study shows that the planned PLTVACIW-PSO outpaces the performances of other comparable *** from the experiments shows that the PLTVACIW-PSO is capable of outlining a feature subset that is capable of enhancing the classification efficiency and gives the minimal subset of the core features.
