Background The superiority of balloon angioplasty plus aggressive medical management(AMM)to AMM alone for symptomatic intracranial artery stenosis(sICAS)on efficacy and safety profiles still lacks evidence from randomised controlled trials(RCTs).Aim To demonstrate the design of an RCT on balloon angioplasty plus AMM for *** Balloon Angioplasty for Symptomatic Intracranial Artery Stenosis(BASIS)trial is a multicentre,prospective,randomised,open-label,blinded end-point trial to investigate whether balloon angioplasty plus AMM could improve clinical outcome compared with AMM alone in patients with *** eligible in BASIS were 35–80 years old,with a recent transient ischaemic attack within the past 90 days or ischaemic stroke between 14 days and 90 days prior to enrolment due to severe atherosclerotic stenosis(70%–99%)of a major intracranial *** eligible patients were randomly assigned to receive balloon angioplasty plus AMM or AMM alone at a 1:1 *** groups will receive identical AMM,including standard dual antiplatelet therapy for 90 days followed by long-term single antiplatelet therapy,intensive risk factor management and life-style *** participants will be followed up for *** outcomes Stroke or death in the next 30 days after enrolment or after balloon angioplasty procedure of the qualifying lesion during follow-up,or any ischaemic stroke or revascularisation from the qualifying artery after 30 days but before 12 months of enrolment,is the primary *** BASIS trail is the first RCT to compare the efficacy and safety of balloon angioplasty plus AMM to AMM alone in sICAS patients,which may provide an alternative perspective for treating *** registration number NCT03703635;https://***.

自主着陆技术是制约无人机(Unmanned aerial vehicle,UAV)自主性等级提升中极具挑战性的一项技术.立足于未来基于视觉的无人机自主着陆技术的发展需求,围绕其中的核心问题——着陆场检测与位姿估计,对近十年来国内外无人机自主着陆领域中基于视觉的着陆场检测与位姿估计方法研究进展进行总结.首先,在分析无人机自主着陆应用需求的基础上,指出机器视觉在无人机自主着陆领域的应用优势,并凝练出存在的科学问题;其次,按不同应用场景划分对着陆场检测算法进行梳理;然后,分别对纯视觉、多源信息融合的位姿估计技术研究成果进行归纳;最后,总结该领域有待进一步解决的难点,并对未来的技术发展趋势进行展望.

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G6PD)deficiency is one of the most prevalent hereditary and X-linked enzyme disorders caused by the pathogenetic G6PD(NM_001042351.2)variants(Yang et al.,2016).The clinical manifestations of G6PD deficiency offer a wide spectrum of diverse disease phenotypes(Hecker et al.,2013).Investigations of prevalence and molecular epidemiology demonstrate that G6PD deficiency affects over 400 milion individuals worldwide and leads to thousands of deaths annually(Mortality and Causes of Death,2015).

Src inhibition rescues FUNDC1-mediated neuronal mitophagy in ischaemic stroke

Glycine Attenuates Myocardial Fibrosis in Myocardial Infarction in Rats Partly through Modulating Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3/Nuclear Factor-κB/Transforming Growth Factor-β axis

Objective: Inflammation and fibrosis are strongly associated with each other. Glycine is present in various traditional Chinese medicines and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. However, the effects of glycine on myocardial fibrosis(MF) in rats with myocardial infarction(MI) have not been reported. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of glycine therapy on MF and comprehend its underlying mechanisms. Materials and Methods: Left anterior descending artery ligation-induced MI in Sprague Dawley rats was leveraged to assess the therapeutic effects of Glycine. Rats received either normal saline or glycine(0.5 mg/g bodyweight) for 7 days. Results: Glycine upregulated cardiac ejection fraction and fractional shortening to improve cardiac function, as evaluated by echocardiography. Histological and immunohistochemical analyses demonstrated that glycine could decrease inflammatory cell infiltration and alleviate collagen deposition. Western blotting revealed that nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)-mediated inflammatory signaling was also downregulated by glycine treatment. The expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3), tumor necrosis factor-α, and transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) was decreased significantly in the glycine-treated group compared to the model group. Thus, glycine plays a protective role against myocardial ischemia and subsequent MF. Conclusion: The protective effects of glycine were achieved partly through STAT3/NF-κB/TGF-β signaling pathway.
