CuO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a two-jet electrospun method,and then screen-printed on silver-carbon electrodes,forming CuO-modified Ag-C(CuO/Ag-C)disposable strip *** natural environment condition for glucose detection,the obtained CuO/Ag-C electrodes show a high sensitivity of 540 nA·mM^(-1)·cm^(-2),and a low limit of detection(0.68 mM)in a wide linear response range of 0.68 mM and 3 mM(signal/noise=3),*** addition,the CuO/Ag-C electrodes also exhibit excellent anti-interference,air stability and *** a result,the fabrication of CuO nanoparticles via an electrospun process and the technique of screen-printed electrodes are of great significance for glucose detection.

Arsenic-vanadium polyoxometalates（POMs） represent a family of tremendous potential catalysts owing to their peculiar physical and chemical *** in CO2conversion,using POMs to catalyze the conversion of CO2and epoxide into chemical intermediates is the research ***,A new family number of arsenic-vanadium POMs,[N（CH3）4]4[As8V12O38（H2O）]·2H2O({As8V12O38}),was reported and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,*** from other allotropicity,{As8V12O38}shows a different structure pattern with an I-43d *** obtained {As8V12O38} was employed as a catalyst for the *** initial catalytic reaction confirmed that {As8V12O38} can catalyze the formation of epoxy carbonate by using 1.01 kPa CO2and epoxide at 70℃.furtherly,when added amine in the catalytic system,oxazolidinone could be obtained by high yields,which provides an efficient way to convert CO2into profitable ***,a possible catalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by using different characterization analyses.{As8V12O38} first catalyzes the epoxide and CO2to form an epoxy carbonate and then catalyzes epoxy carbonate and benzylamine into oxazolidinone.

A series of magnetically recyclable Pd/Fe3O4@γ-Al2O3 catalysts were synthesized using the superparamagnetic Fe3O4@γ-Al2O3 core-shell microspheres as the supporter and nano-Pd particles assembled on γ-Al2O3 shell as the active catalytic component. The structure of the catalysts was characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, transmission electron microscopy iTEM）, N2 adsorptiondesorption and vibrating sample magnetometer （VSM）. The catalytic activity and the recyclability properties of the catalysts for the Heck coupling reaction with aryl bromides and the olefins were investigated. The results show that the microspheres of the magnetic Pd/Fe304@γ-Al2O3 catalysts were about 400 nm and the nano-Pd particles assembled on γ-Al2O3 shell were about 3-4 nm in size. The saturation magnetization （MS） of the magnetic catalysts was sufficiently high to allow magnetic separations. In the Heck coupling reactions, the magnetic Pd/Fe304@γ-Al2O3 catalysts exhibited good catalytic activity and recyclability. With Pd/Fe304@γ-Al2O3 （0.021 mol%） catalyst, the bromobenzene conversion and product yield reached about 96.8% and 91.2%, respectively, at 120℃ and in 14 h. After being recycled for six times, the conversion of bromobenzene and the recovery of the catalyst were about 80% and 90%, respectively. The nano-Pd particles were kept well dispersed in the used Pd/Fe304@γ-Al2O3 catalysts.

Elimination of Anti-spiral Waves by Local Inhomogeneity in Oscillatory Systems

Anti-spiral waves are controlled in an oscillatory system by using a local inhomogeneity. The inhomogeneity acts as a wave source, and gives rise to the propagating plane waves, tt is found that there is a critical pacemaking domain size below which no wave will be created at all. Two types of ordered waves （target waves and traveling waves） are created depending on the geometry of the local inhomogeneity. The competition between the anti-spiral waves and the ordered waves is discussed. Two different competition mechanisms were observed, which are related to the ordered waves obtained from different local inhomogeneities. It is found that traveling waves with either lower frequency or higher frequency can both eliminate the anti-spiral waves, while only the target waves with lower absolute value of frequency can eliminate the anti-spiral waves. This method also applies to outwardly rotating spiral waves. The control mechanism is intuitively explained and the control method is easily operative.

The Ti（C,N）precipitation and texture evolution in ultra-low carbon Ti-bearing enamel steel were studied to discover their *** different cooling paths of simulative coiling were adopted to gain different morphologies of Ti（C,N）precipitate in hot *** is found that the Ti（C,N）precipitate in hot strip using Path 2（put into asbestos box and air cooled）are finer and much more in quantity than that in hot strip using Path 1（held at 730℃ for 30min and furnace cooled）.The morphology of Ti（C,N）precipitate in hot strip has great effect on recrystallization texture in the subsequent cold-rolled annealed sheet.γ-fiber texture of strong recrystallization is gained in coldrolled and annealed sheet came from Path *** the contrary,in the one came from Path 2,theγ-fiber texture is *** may be due to the pinning force of numerous fine Ti（C,N）precipitate which retard the growth of preferential nucleated{111}orientated *** steel sheets in the test came from both paths have excellent fishscale resistance.

Lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),a vital enzyme in anaerobic glycolysis,is closely associated with the survival of *** studies of some parasites have shown that LDH exhibits unique physicochemical properties and molecular structures and may be an ideal potential target for diagnosis and drug *** this study,we aimed to investigate the effects of acetamizuril,a novel anticoccidial compound,on LDH in the second-generation merozoites of Eimeria tenella(mz-LDH).Quantitative real-time PCR,Western blot,immunofluorescence and enzyme activity assays were each applied to detect the changes of *** results indicated that the mRNA and protein levels of mz-LDH were reduced upon acetamizuril *** of mz-LDH demonstrated that considerable amount of mz-LDH was distributed around or in the nuclei of second-generation merozoites within the untreated group;in contrast,the acetamizuril-treated group had very low level of ***,LDH enzyme activity assay suggested that a decreased LDH enzyme activity in both cytoplasm and nucleus of merozoites in the acetamizuril-treated ***,the induced apoptosis in second-generation merozoites by the acetamizuril was evaluated by detecting caspase 3 activity,and acetamizuril was found to significantly increase caspase 3 *** above findings show that LDH may play an important role in the mediating the activity of acetamizuril against coccidiosis,and further investigation into this aspect might contribute to new light on the pathogenesis of *** during its interaction with acetamizuril.

The subchannel analysis method is one of the most crucial transient safety analysis methods in the thermal design of nuclear reactors. The nonuniformity of circumferential heat transfer is slight in conventional pressurized water reactor (PWR)cores, but it is significant in advanced reactors with wire-wrapped or helical fuel rods. Predicting circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer behavior can be challenging owing to the complex geometry of helical fuel rods. In this study, a general circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer fuel rod (GCNF) model is developed to predict the fuel central temperature and circumferential heat flux and wall temperature. This model incorporates a refined two-dimensional fuel conduction model and circumferential nonuniform shape factor, addressing the dual factors contributing to the circumferential nonuniformity of helical fuel rods. An empirical correlation for the nonuniform shape factor is developed based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results, and it is implemented to the subchannel code. The newly developed model is applied to a helical fuel annulus and validated by comparing the prediction results with CFD data. The maximum wall temperature predicted by the code is 1.15°C lower than the value calculated through CFD. In terms of the heat flux, the maximum value at the inner corner is22 kW lower than that obtained from the CFD prediction. The accurate prediction of circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer in helical fuel, concerning the surface heat flux and cladding temperature, addresses existing shortcomings in helical fuel subchannel analysis methods. Additionally, the capability to predict the fuel central temperature is essential for the safety analysis to determine whether fuel rods are melting. The generality of the model framework allows it to be used for the prediction of circumferential nonuniform heat transfer behavior in other types of fuel assemblies.

Several studies have shown that activation of unfolded protein response and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress plays a crucial role in severe cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** occurs within hours after cerebral ischemia,but the relationship between ER stress and autophagy remains *** this study,we established experimental models using oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation in PC12 cells and primary neurons to simulate cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** found that prolongation of oxygen-glucose deprivation activated the ER stress pathway protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK)/eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit alpha(e IF2α)-activating transcription factor 4(ATF4)-C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP),increased neuronal apoptosis,and induced ***,inhibition of ER stress using inhibitors or by si RNA knockdown of the PERK gene significantly attenuated excessive autophagy and neuronal apoptosis,indicating an interaction between autophagy and ER stress and suggesting PERK as an essential target for regulating *** autophagy with chloroquine exacerbated ER stress-induced apoptosis,indicating that normal levels of autophagy play a protective role in neuronal injury following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** from this study indicate that cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury can trigger neuronal ER stress and promote autophagy,and suggest that PERK is a possible target for inhibiting excessive autophagy in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.
