The two-dimensional non-Newtonian steady flow on a power-law stretched surface with suction or injection is studied. Thermal conductivity is assumed to vary as a linear function of temperature. The transformed governing equations in the present study are solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta method. Through a comparison, results for a special case of the problem show excellent agreement with those in a previous work. Two cases are considered, one corresponding to a cooled surface temperature and the other to a uniform surface temperature. Numerical results show that the thermal conductivity variation parameter, the injection parameter, and the power-law index have significant influences on the temperature profiles and the Nusselt number.

Background:Prostatic epithelial cells synthesize the active form of vitamin D(1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3),which participates in regulating prostate ***,a synthetic form of vitamin D3,exhibits antiproliferative and prodifferentiation activities in prostate *** function of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 is mediated by its binding to vitamin D receptor(VDR).VDR forms a heterodimer,typically with retinoid X receptor,to regulate vitamin D target *** evaluated the relationship between VDR polymorphism and clinical characteristics associated with prostate cancer risk and prognosis among Egyptian *** and methods:This case-control study included 2 groups of patients:group A,a control group of 50 subjects with benign prostate hyperplasia,and group B,50 subjects newly diagnosed with prostate *** participants performed complete blood count,liver and kidney function tests,prostate specific antigen measurement,histopathological analysis and immunohistochemistry for Dickkopf Homolog *** fragment length polymorphism-polymerase chain reaction as performed to detect VDR ***:Patients with prostate cancer and controls showed a significantly different CA genotype frequency(p=0.007).furthermore,prostate-specific antigen levels were significantly different in different genotypes in patients with prostate cancer(pfinally,T stage and the VDRApal C/A polymorphism were significantly associated(pfor prostate cancer in Egyptian men.

Electrical Properties of Li-doped P-type ZnO Ceramics

Li-doped p-type ZnO ceramics were prepared by conventional methods according to the chemical formula Zn1-xLixO2 where x=0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mole fraction, respectively. The crystal structures of the prepared samples were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The dielectric properties （including dielectric constant ε′ and dielectric loss ε″） and dc-electrical conductivity [σ（Ω^-***^-1）] were investigated. The dielectric constant ε′ was sharply decreased at the low frequency range and independent on frequency at high frequency range. Otherwise, the dielectric loss ε″ varied with frequency and showed absorption peak located from 200 Hz to 4 kHz and moved to higher frequency as the concentration of Li＋ doped increased. It was found that dcelectrical conductivity logσ varied from -9 to -5 and the energy gap width were calculated by using Arrhenius equation. The p-type conductivity of Li-doped ZnO may be attributed to the formation of a Lizn-Lii donor complex, which is limited by reducing the amount of Lii.

A boundary layer analysis is presented to investigate numerically the effects of radiation, thermophoresis and the dimensionless heat generation or absorption on hydromagnetic flow with heat and mass transfer over a flat surface in a porous medium. The boundary layer equations are transformed to non-linear ordinary differential equations using scaling group of transformations and they are solved numerically by using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method with shooting technique for some values of physical parameters. Comparisons with previously published work are performed and the results are found to be in very good agreement. Many results are obtained and a representative set is displayed graphically to illustrate the influence of the various parameters on the dimensionless velocity, temperature and concentration profiles as well as the local skin-friction coefficient, wall heat transfer, particle deposition rate and wall thermophoretic deposition velocity. The results show that the magnetic field induces acceleration of the flow, rather than deceleration （as in classical magnetohydrodynamics （MHD） boundary layer flow） but to reduce temperature and increase concentration of particles in boundary layer. Also, there is a strong dependency of the concentration in the boundary layer on both the Schmidt number and mass transfer parameter.

In this work, experimental and numerical investigations are undertaken for confined buoyant turbulent jet with varying inlet temperatures. Results of the experimental work and numerical simulations for the problem under consideration are presented. four cases of different variable inlet temperatures and different flow rates are considered. The realizable k-ε turbulence model is used to model the turbulent flow. Comparisons show good agreements between simulated and measured results. The average devia- tion of the simulated temperature by realizable k-ε turbulent model and the measured temperature is within 2%. The results indicate that temperatures along the vertical axis vary, generally, in nonlinear fashion as opposed to the approximately linear varia- tion that was observed for the constant inlet temperature that was done in a previous work. furthermore, thermal stratification exits, particularly closer to the entrance region. further away from the entrance region the variation in temperatures becomes relatively smaller. The stratification is observed since the start of the experiment and continues during the whole course. Numerical experime- nts for constant, monotone increasing and monotone decreasing of inlet temperature are done to show its effect on the buoyancy force in terms of Richardson number.

In the Internet of Things(IoT)based system,the multi-level client’s requirements can be fulfilled by incorporating communication technologies with distributed homogeneous networks called ubiquitous computing systems(UCS).The UCS necessitates heterogeneity,management level,and data transmission for distributed ***,security remains a major issue in the IoT-driven ***,energy-limited IoT devices need an effective clustering strategy for optimal energy *** recent developments of explainable artificial intelligence(XAI)concepts can be employed to effectively design intrusion detection systems(IDS)for accomplishing security in *** this view,this study designs a novel Blockchain with Explainable Artificial Intelligence Driven Intrusion Detection for IoT Driven Ubiquitous Computing System(BXAI-IDCUCS)*** major intention of the BXAI-IDCUCS model is to accomplish energy efficacy and security in the IoT *** BXAI-IDCUCS model initially clusters the IoT nodes using an energy-aware duck swarm optimization(EADSO)algorithm to accomplish ***,deep neural network(DNN)is employed for detecting and classifying intrusions in the IoT ***,blockchain technology is exploited for secure inter-cluster data transmission *** ensure the productive performance of the BXAI-IDCUCS model,a comprehensive experimentation study is applied,and the outcomes are assessed under different *** comparison study emphasized the superiority of the BXAI-IDCUCS model over the current state-of-the-art approaches with a packet delivery ratio of 99.29%,a packet loss rate of 0.71%,a throughput of 92.95 Mbps,energy consumption of 0.0891 mJ,a lifetime of 3529 rounds,and accuracy of 99.38%.

fuzzy ideals and the notion of fuzzy local function were introduced and studied by Sarkar[12] and by Mahmoud in [9]. The purpose of this paper deals with a fuzzy compactness modulo a fuzzy ideal. Many new sorts of weak and strong fuzzy compactness have been introduced to fuzzy topological spaces in the last twenty years but not have been studied using fuzzy ideals so,the main aim of our work in this paper is to define and study some new various types of fuzzy compactness with respect to fuzzy ideals namely fuzzy L-compact and L*-compact spaces. Also fuzzy compactness with respect to ideal is useful as unification and generalization of several others widely studied concepts. Possible application to superstrings and E∞ space-time are touched upon.

fluctuations in commodity prices should influence mining operations to continually update and adjust their mine plans in order to capture additional value under new market conditions. One of the adjustments is the change in production sequencing. This paper seeks to present a method for quantifying the net present value(NPV) that may be directly attributed to the change in commodity prices. The evaluation is conducted across ten copper price scenarios. Discrete event simulation combined with mixed integer programming was used to attain a viable production strategy and to generate optimal mine plans. The analysis indicates that an increase in prices results in an increased in the NPV from$96.57M to $755.65M. In an environment where mining operations must be striving to gain as much value as possible from the rights to exploit a finite resource, it is not appropriate to keep operating under the same mine plan if commodity prices alter during the course of operations.

Heterogeneous community entails a number of social groups that adopt similar/different social *** such community,new individuals who join a new social group should be able to decide with which group they could assimilate based on their capabilities/values/***,they would be penalized by other members in the group for violating some norms which they cannot *** this approach,software agents would have better reasoning in simulating human *** this paper,the authors propose a norms assimilation theory,in which a new agent attempts to assimilate with a social group’s *** theory builds an approach to norm assimilation,analyzes the cases for an agent to decide to assimilate with a social group and develops a mathematical model to measure the assimilation cost and the agent’s *** approach is developed based on the agent’s internal belief about its ability and desire,and its external belief about the cost of assimilating with a number of social *** significance of this research is ***,the study paves the way to future design of intelligent systems,i.e.,software agents or robots,to closely mimic human social ***,the norm assimilation using agent-based system could be potentially utilized to simulate some social issues such as immigrants,new students,expatriate *** experiments that have been conducted demonstrate that an agent in the domain is able to calculate the assimilation cost and decide which social group to join.
