Using categorical techniques we obtain some results on localization and colocalization theory in Grothendieck categories with a set of.small projective generators. In particular, we give a suf.icient condition f.r such category to be semiartinian. f.r semiartinian Grothendieck categories where every simple object has a projective cover, we obtain that every localizing subcategory is a TTf.class. In addition, some applications to semiperf.ct categories are obtained.

In this study, the tribological behavior of.an ammonium-based protic ionic liquid(PIL) as an additive in a base mineral oil(MO) is investigated on a steel–steel contact at room temperature and 100℃. Tri-[bis(2-hydroxyethylammonium)] citrate(Dci) was synthesized in a simple and low-cost way, and the ionic structure of.Dci was conf.rmed by proton nuclear magnetic resonance(^(1)H NMR). The stability measurement of.1 wt% Dci to a MO was investigated, and the lubricating ability and anti-wear properties of.Dci as an additive in MO were also examined using a custom-designed reciprocating ball-on-f.at tribometer. Optical microscope and prof.lometry were used to obtain the worn morphology of.the steel disks. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) were carried out to investigate the wear mechanism and to analyze the surf.ce interactions between the rubbing components. When 1 wt% Dci is added into the base MO, f.ictional perf.rmance is improved at both temperatures studied with a f.iction reduction of.29.0% and 35.5%, respectively. Moreover, the addition of.1 wt% Dci to MO reduced the wear volume 59.4% compared to the use of.MO. An oxygen-richened tribolayer is conf.rmed by EDS on the disk surf.ce when Dci was used as additive under 100℃.

The aim of.this work is to study the solution of.the smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH)discrete f.rmulation of.the hydrostatic problem with a f.ee *** problem,in which no time dependency is considered,takes the f.rm of.a system of.linear *** particular,the problem in one dimension is *** f.cus is set on the convergence when both the particle spacing and the smoothing length tend to zero by keeping constant their *** of.this ratio of.the order of.one,corresponding to a limited number of.neighbors,are of.practical ***,the problem in which each particle has one single neighbor at each side is *** explicit expressions of.the numerical solution and the quadratic error are provided in this *** expression of.the quadratic error demonstrates that the SPH solution does not converge to the exact one in general under the specif.ed *** this case,the error converges to a residue,which is in general large compared to the norm of.the exact *** cases with two and three neighbors are also *** analytical study in the case of.two neighbors is perf.rmed,showing how the kernel inf.uences the accuracy of.the solution through modif.ing the condition number of.the ref.rred system of.linear *** addition to that,a numerical investigation is carried out using several Wendland kernel *** two and three neighbors are involved it is f.und that the error tends in most cases to a small limiting value,dif.erent f.om zero,while divergent solutions are also f.und in the case of.two neighbors with the Wendland Kernel *** cases with more neighbors are also *** general,the Wendland Kernel c2 turns out to be the worst choice,as the solution is divergent f.r certain values of.the ratio between the particle spacing and the smoothing length,associated with an ill-conditioned matrix.

Interaction of.silver nanoparticles with mediterranean agricultural soils: Lab-controlled adsorption and desorption studies

The production of.silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) has increased tremendously during recent years due to their antibacterial and physicochemical properties. As a consequence, these particles are released inevitably into the environment, with soil being the main sink of.disposal. Soil interactions have an ef.ect on AgNP mobility, transport and bioavailability. To understand AgNP adsorption processes, lab-controlled kinetic studies were *** tests perf.rmed with f.ve dif.erent Mediterranean agricultural soils showed that cation exchange capacity and electrical conductivity are the main parameters controlling the adsorption processes. The adsorption kinetics of.dif.erent sized(40, 75, 100 and 200 nm)and coated(citrate, polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyethyleneglycol(PEG)) AgNPs indicated that these nanoparticle properties have also an ef.ect on the adsorption *** assess the mobility and bioavailability of.AgNPs and to determine if.their f.rm is maintained during adsorption/desorption processes, loaded soils were submitted to leaching tests three weeks af.er batch adsorption studies. The DIN 38414-S4 extraction method indicated that AgNPs were strongly retained on soils, and single-particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry conf.rmed that silver particles maintained their nanof.rm, except f.r 100 nm PEG-AgNPs and 40 nm citrate-coated AgNPs. The DTPA(diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid) leaching test was more ef.ective in extracting silver,but there was no presence of.AgNPs in almost all of.these leachates.

Abstract We study af.ine Jacobi structures （brackets） on an af.ine bundle π ： A → M, i.e. Jacobi brackets that close on af.ine f.nctions. We prove that if.the rank of.A is non-zero, there is a one-toone correspondence between af.ine Jacobi structures on A and Lie algebroid structures on the vector bundle A^＋ = ∪p∈M Af.（Ap, R） of.af.ine f.nctionals. In the case rank A = 0, it is shown that there is a one-to-one correspondence between af.ine Jacobi structures on A and local Lie algebras on A^＋. Some examples and applications, also f.r the linear case, are discussed. f.r a special type of.af.ine Jacobi structures which are canonically exhibited （strongly-af.ine or af.ine-homogeneous Jacobi structures） over a real vector space of.f.nite dimension, we describe the leaves of.its characteristic f.liation as the orbits of.an af.ine representation. These af.ine Jacobi structures can be viewed as an analog of.the Kostant-Arnold-Liouville linear Poisson structure on the dual space of.a real f.nite-dimensional Lie algebra.

We reported a quantum mechanical study of.the complexes f.rmed between Sm3＋ and the bisphosphonate ligand pamidronate in aqueous solution. According to available experimental p K a values pamidronate was expected to exist in aqueous solution, at physiologically relevant p H, in its di- and tri-protonated f.rms（denoted by H3 L and H2L）. The most stable structures of.the ligands and Sm3＋ complexes were f.und by using a detailed analysis of.the conf.rmational space with semiempirical and Df. methods. The results showed that both H2 L and H3 L bisphosphonates acted as a tridentate ligands in their complexes with Sm3＋. The addition of.explicit water molecules to the coordination sphere of.the metal not only gave dif.erent coordination numbers f.r H2 L and H3 L complexes（cN=9 and 10）, but also provided dif.erent trends in stabilization energies. The results highlighted the importance of.considering not only an explicit f.rst coordination shell, but also a second hydration shell, f.r an adequate description of.this type of.complexes in aqueous solution.

In this work three f.el consumption and exhaust emission models,ADVISOR,VT-MIcRO and the European Environmental Agency Emission f.ctors,have been used to obtain f.el consumption(f.)and exhaust *** models have been used at micro-scale,using the two signal treatment methods *** manuscript presents:1)a methodology to collect data in real urban driving cycles,2)an estimation of.f. and tailpipe emissions using some available models in literature,and 3)a novel analysis of.the results based on delivered wheel *** results include f.el consumption(f.),cO_(2),NO_(x) and PM_(10) emissions,which are derived f.om the three *** the f.rst part of.the paper we present a new procedure f.r incomplete drive cycle data treatment,which is necessary f.r real drive cycle acquisition in high density *** the models are used to obtain second by second f. and exhaust ***,a new methodology named cycle Analysis by Ordered Power(cAbOP)is presented and used to compare the *** method consists in the re-ordering of.time dependant data,considering the wheel mechanical power domain instead of.the standard time *** new strategy allows the 5 situations in drive cycles to be clearly visualized:hard breaking zone,slowdowns,idle or stop zone,sustained speed zone and acceleration *** complete methodology is applied in two real drive cycles surveyed in Barcelona(Spain)and the results are compared with a standardized WLTc urban cycle.

complex Ⅲ plays a central role in the mitochondrial respiratory chain transf.rring electrons f.om ubiquinol to cytochrome c and pumping protons to the intermembrane space,contributing to the protonmotive ***,complex Ⅲ can act as a source of.O_(2^(·-))in the presence of.ubiquinol and antimycin,an expermiental condition in which the oxidation of.the cytochrome b hemes is *** O_(2^(·-))dismutation catalyzed by superoxide dismutase produces H2O2,a known second messenger in redox *** f.om our laboratory have shown that NO,released f.om GSNO or f.om SPER-NO or generated by mtNOS,inhibits electron transf.r at ubiquinone-cytochrome b area producing antimycin-like ***,both antimycin-and NO-inhibited complex Ⅲ showed a high content of.cytochromes b in the reduced state(79 and 71%,respectively)and an enhancement in the ubisemiquinone EPR signal at g=1.99(42 and 35%,respectively).As consequence,O_(2^(·-))and H2O2 productions were increased,being the O_(2^(·-))/H_(2)O_(2) ratio equal to 1.98 in accordance with the stoichiometry of.the O_(2^(·-))*** interruption of.the oxidation of.cytochromes b by NO leads to an enhancement of.the steady-state concentration of.UQH·,allowing cytochrome bc1 complex to act as a source of.reactive oxygen species in physiological conditions.

本文在刚性旋转输运速度场的特殊情况下,建立了二维平流扩散方程的积分光滑粒子流体动力学(SPH)解的收敛性.考虑了Morris等人对拉普拉斯算子的近似,在傅里叶空间中建立了SPH解与精确解的收敛性.证明了如果满足核的傅里叶变换的某个条件,即我们称之为正条件,则收敛是有保证的.这个条件是核的傅里叶变换其径向轮廓的一阶矩为正,并通过数值验证说明了分析结果.根据L2范数和最大范数,比较了使用不同核包括SPH社区更常用的核(即Wendland核以及三次和线性样条核)获得的数值解.除此之外,提出并测试了一个病理核,该核不满足正条件,导致了非收敛结果.这一事实表明,在对流扩散方程的情况下,正条件不仅是收敛的充分条件,也是必要条件.
