The structural diversity of.dif.erent tree-crop associations were studied at Gachabari Sal f.rest area of.Madhupur Garh on Buf.er and Peripheral Zone during 2006. The total density, basal area of.trees in the Buf.er and Peripheral Zone were 155.5 trees·hm^(-2), 795.4 trees·hm^(-2) and 3.9 m2·hm-2, 5.8 m^2·hm^(-2), respectively. No regeneration and natural trees were f.und in Peripheral Zone and the Zone is totally occupied by exotic species where the Buf.er Zone comprised of.both natural and exotic trees. The Peripheral Zone belonged to younger and smaller trees whereas the Buf.er Zone belonged to mixture of.smaller, taller, younger and mature trees simultaneously. f.r the practicing of.dif.erent agrof.restry systems both Zones have lost their original characters of.Sal f.rest.

Polyamines （PA）, polyamine oxidases, copper amine oxidases, and nitric oxide （NO） play important roles in physiology and stress responses in plants. NO biosynthesis as a result of.catabolism of.PA by polyamine oxidases and copper amine oxidases may explain in part PA-mediated responses. Involvement of.a copper amine oxidase gene, COPPER AMINE OXIDASEI （CuAO1）, of.Arabidopsis was tested f.r its role in stress responses using the knockouts cuao1-1 and cuaol-2. PA-induced and ABA-induced NO production investigated bY f.uorometry and f.uorescence microscopy showed that the cuaol-1 and cuaol-2 are impaired in NO production, suggesting a f.nction of.CuAO1 in PA and ABA-mediated NO production. f.rthermore, we f.und a PA-dependent increase in protein S-nitrosylation. The addition of.PA and ABA also resulted in H2O2 increases, cuao1-1 and cuao1-2 showed less sensitivity to exogenous ABA supplementation during germination, seedling establishment, and root growth inhibition as compared to wild-type. In response to ABA treatment, expression levels of.the stress-responsive genes RD29A and ADH1 were signif.cantly lower in the knockouts. These observations characterize cuao1-1 and cuao1-2 as ABA-insensitive mutants. Taken together, our f.ndings extend the ABA signal transduction network to include CuAO1 as one potential contributor to enhanced NO production by ABA.

China clay was employed as an adsorbent f.r the removal of.Mg 2+ f.om water at pH 7.0 within the temperature range of.303～328 K. The linearity of.the plots indicated Langmuir type isotherms. The reaction was exothermic. A maximum removal of.35% was obtained at 0.50 mmol L -1 metal concentration and a pH of.7.0 at 303 K. The H + rel /Mg 2+ ads ratio changed f.om a f.actional value to 2.5. Strong chemical bondings took place between oxygen atom of.the surf.ce and Mg 2+ , resulting in a surf.ce complex species. Temperature had a signif.cant ef.ect on H + rel , and the stability constants also increased with increasing temperature.

Encryption techniques ensure security of.data during transmission. However, in most cases, this increases the length of.the data, thus it increases the cost. When it is desired to transmit data over an insecure and bandwidth-constrained channel, it is customary to compress the data f.rst and then encrypt it. In this paper, a novel algorithm, the new compression with encryption and compression （CEC）, is proposed to secure and compress the data. This algorithm compresses the data to reduce its length. The compressed data is encrypted and then f.rther compressed using a new encryption algorithm without compromising the compression ef.iciency and the inf.rmation security. This CEC algorithm provides a higher compression ratio and enhanced data security. The CEC provides more conf.dentiality and authentication between two communication systems.

To understand the self.sustained propagation of.the plasma jet/bullet in air under atmospheric pressure, the ignition of.the plasma jet/bullet, the plasma jet/bullet ignition point in the plasma pencil, the f.rmation time and the f.rmation criteria f.om a dielectric barrier conf.gured plasma pencil were investigated in this study. The results were conf.rmed by comparing these results with the plasma jet ignition process in the plasma pencil without a dielectric barrier. Electrical, optical, and imaging techniques were used to study the f.rmation of.the plasma jet f.om the ignition of.discharge in a double dielectric barrier conf.gured plasma pencil. The investigation results show that the plasma jet f.rms at the outlet of.the plasma pencil as a donut shaped discharge f.ont because of.the electric f.eld line along the outlet＇s surf.ce. It is shown that the required time f.r the f.rmation of.the plasma jet changes with the input voltage of.the discharge. The input power calculation f.r the gap discharge and f.r the whole system shows that 56% of.the average input power is used by the f.rst gap discharge. The estimated electron density inside the gap discharge is in the order of.1011 cm^-3. If.helium is used as a f.eding gas, a minimum 1.48× 10^-8 C charge is required per pulse in the gap discharge to generate a plasma jet.

Using the multi-product dual revenue f.nction f.amework,this paper examines the nature and extent of.technical and economic interactions among f.ve demersal species of.Al-Batinah demersal f.shery,Oman during the 2010-2016 *** parameters of.the system of.output supply f.nctions are estimated using Zellner’s seemingly unrelated regressions(SUR)*** likelihood ratio test in relation to the structure of.the multi-output production technology rejects the null-hypothesis of.input-output separability and non-jointness in *** results suggest that the underlying production technology is non-separable between the outputs and the quasi-f.xed input,and the harvesting level of.one species is likely to have spill-over economic ef.ects on the harvesting levels of.*** own-price elasticities of.output supply are f.und to be positive,inelastic,and statistically signif.cant in f.ur out of.f.ve cases suggesting that,other things being equal,f.shers’supply decisions are inf.uenced by the prevailing market prices of.*** estimated values of.the cross-price elasticity of.supply are negative,inelastic and statistically signif.cant at the 5%level f.r eight output *** calculated values of.the Morishima elasticity of.substitution(MES)indicate the presence of.substitutability between ten output *** cross-price elasticity estimates are in the range of.�0.001(between Emperor and Catf.sh)to􀀀0.275(between Seabream and Grouper)which is lower(in absolute value)than that of.the MES *** magnitudes of.the cross-price elasticity and the MES estimates indicate the extent of.spill-over ef.ects of.one species on the other and signal the extent of.species targeting by f.shers.A statistically signif.cant spatial,seasonal,and inter-annual variability is observed in all species ***,the implications of.the f.ndings are discussed f.om the perspective of.developing ef.ective management approaches,achieving sustainability of.f.sheries resource

A comprehensive 3D turbulent Cf. study has been carried out to simulate a Low-Head(LH)vertical Direct Chill(DC)rolling ingot caster f.r the common magnesium alloy *** model used in this study takes into account the coupled laminar/turbulent melt f.ow and solidif.cation aspects of.the process and is based on the control-volume f.nite-dif.erence *** the aluminum/magnesium DC casting industrial practices,the LH mold is taken as 30 mm with a hot top of.60 *** previously verif.ed in-house code has been modif.ed to model the present casting *** quantitative results are obtained f.r f.ur casting speeds,f.r three inlet melt pouring temperatures(superheats)and f.r three metal-mold contact heat transf.r coef.icients f.r the steady state operational phase of.the *** variable cooling water temperatures reported by the industry are considered f.r the primary and secondary cooling zones during the ***,the temperature and velocity f.elds,sump depth and sump prof.les,mushy region thickness,solid shell thickness at the exit of.the mold and axial temperature prof.les at the center and at three strategic locations at the surf.ce of.the slab are presented and discussed.

Silver nanoparticles with average diameter of.10 ± 3 nm were synthesized within the sieves of.poly（N-isopropylacrylamide-2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate-acrylic acid）（p（NIPAAm-HEMA-AAc））polymer microgels. f.ee radial emulsion polymerization was employed f.r synthesis of.p（NIPAAm-HEMA-AAc） polymer microgels. Silver nanoparticles were introduced within the microgels sphere by in situ reduction method. Microgels and hybrid microgels were characterized by f.urier transf.rm inf.ared spectroscopy, ultra violet-visible spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering measurements. Catalytic activity of.Ag-p（NIPAAm-HEMA-AAc） hybrid microgels was studied using catalytic reduction of.4-nitrophenol（4-NP） as a model reaction in aqueous media. The inf.uence of.sodium borohydride（Na BH4） concentration, catalyst dose and 4-NP concentration on catalytic reduction of.4-NP was investigated. A linear relationship was f.und between catalyst dose and apparent rate constant（kapp）. The mechanism of.catalysis by hybrid microgels was explored f.r f.rther development in this area. The deep analysis of.catalytic process reveals that the unique combination of.NIPAAm, HEMA and AAc does not only stabilize silver nanoparticles in polymer network but it also enhances the mass transport of.hydrophilic substrate like 4-NP f.om outside to inside the polymer network.
